Ricky Hatton A Red Afterall?

Ricky Hatton, who boxes in Manchester City blue, went to Old Trafford on derby day. Was he sat with the travelling blues? In a box with his City mates? No.

After supporting us in the Champions League final last season and having a United supporting brother, questions may be asked of him…

I hope not, I hate the prick!

  2. AlexOfMancunia says:

Thats his bro next to him aint it?

  3. pip says:

Looks more like his brother in front of him….

  4. alpha_rs says:

What have Ricky Hatton and Gary Glitter got in common?

They both went down after trying to take a little Phillipino in the ring!

  5. Bebeto says:

I don’t mind Hatton. His “everybody’s mate” act can get a little tiresome, but he isn’t half as annoying about his bitters allegiance than Noel Gallagher, who only seems to be on hand to give a quote for when something very rarely goes right for them. That’s the same Noel Gallagher who said he’d raise his child/children to be Arsenal fans. Twat.

  6. BlueBalls says:

What a class one tosser. I doubt hell be welcome at either side now. Fat drunken loser. The least funny bloke ever to think he is funny too!!

City fans are disgusted with this prick. If he has the neck to turn up at COMS ever again he is in for some stick. I think he has been spanked once to often. Mayweather and Manny were just lightyears ahead of him..pound for pound best fat waster. The idea that he thought he could be the best pound for pound fighter is a measure of how stupid this litter red swamp arse licker is.

And another thing, the little tosser set up a promotion company and bought up the tickects to his fight with manny with the sole purpose of screwing his loyal fans for more than face value. Twat.

  7. Saha ha ha says:

Wow, he puts weight on fast, it’s only been a week or so since he was knocked out by pacman, and he looks like he’s put on a stone already. That’s more impressive than his boxing career.

  8. confoundedbridge says:

Off topic, but could someone tell which team the following bands supported, out of United and City? I’ve really been digging their stuff:

    Joy Division
    The Smiths
    The Stone Roses

  9. DaddyCoder says:

i think the blow to the head has messed his brains up.

  10. kopelish says:

    Saha ha ha,

The fat bald bloke in the front ain’t Ricky Hatton, mate!

    Oh and BTW….

    Roses=United
    Johnny Marr (Smiffs)=Citee
    Joy Division=about half and half

  11. frodoisdead says:

ian curtis was a city fan, which makes ‘giggs will tear you apart’ slightly ironic.
    ian brown is a red.
+ morrissey was a red but has apparently lost interest in football in general.

as for the rest of the band members i’m not sure.

  12. wazza says:

is that the director’s box ? Hatton might have left boxing after his ko by Pacman.but how do u say he is a Red ?

  13. RH says:

Well written erudite site. Obviously written by people who do not vacillate about the world’s most family friendly club which is also loved by the average football supporter.

  14. whiteknight03 says:

    Alex: That’s rio mate…sorry.

    It’s Arshavin in disguise…

  15. manci_yanky says:

whiteknight, im pretty sure alex was talking about the first picture. to hattons left.

  16. M9NY says:

Jesus, the lads gone to a game with his kid Brother who is a red. Whats the big fuckin deal. He probably wasn’t over the moon having to sit next to Plugg either. Pity he couldn’t wear his City shirt on that bench though, that would have been a lovely Fuck You to the unwashed hoardes of Darkness.

  17. SR, Manchester says:

You’re welcome to him, half of us don’t like the clown. Sitting with your opposition ‘best mates’ is a big no-no, the guy is a prick. Loser.

  18. King Eric says:

Confoundedbridge – Yes Ian Brown and Mani from the Roses are huge United fans. Not too sure about Reni and Squire though. And yes Curtis was a Citeh fan.

  19. RedMist says:

He’s big mate’s with Rooney so was probably there as a guest of his. Wazza carried his belts out at one of his fights in The US of A recently.

  20. AC_MUFC says:

City are going down like Hatton in the ring, Hatton in the ring…

  21. Paul the red says:

Brown sits in a box/expensive seats in the stretford end with his kids… seen him going in a few times….

manni is defo a red… i asked him in a club called south in manchester…. his answer was ” red til i die”

  22. dre says:

    @AC_MUFC – CLASSIC! hahaha

  23. Radio Deadon says:

Let’s name a few more famous Utd fans

    Musicans…..
Phil Lynott – Thin Lizzy (deceased God Bless him)
Ian Anderson – Jethro Tull – they had an album in the 70′s called MUFC
    Mick Hucknall – Simply Red
    Richard Ashcroft – Verve
    Tim Burgess – Charlatans

    TV Celebs who support us……
Terry Christian – Tv Celebrity The Word
    Steve Coogan – Alan Partridge
Angus Deayton – Ex Have a got news for you
Eamonn Holmes – TV Presenter – various shows
Steve McFadden – Phil Mitchell in East Enders

  24. EastStandManc says:

frodoisdead – Morrissey is a fairweather. I doubt he’s ever been a true red – he’s been spotted wearing shirts of various clubs, most notably WHU.

He comes across as an utter twat, too, so I’d be glad to hear if he (truly) supported another team.

  25. suhayl says:

Stone Roses….and The Smiths…ahhhhhhhh. Brings back memories from the halcyon days of MADCHESTER….

I was young…but rememeber it well.

Yep Matthew Hatton ……..big Red fan

  26. kennylad says:

I’m not a massive Hatton fan, but i wouldn’t sink so low as to call him for supporting that blue crap Citeh. Not everyone is perfect and at least Hatton is down to earth and hasn’t become detached from where he grew up. If he’s got the balls to sit with a load of United fans and can get on well with them, then good. The world needs more of that, football isn’t life and death, contrary to what some people think.

As for the pictures, he does look like a red in that picture. I bet he’ll get more shit from citeh fans than what he gets from us.

  27. Dani says:

Hatton is not a red, but he was kinda pink when PacMan KTFO of him.

I don’t like or dislike him. And it’s not demerit get spanked by Manny, I mean after he is the best P4P of the world, and after Mayweather there’s not one else for him… Maybe Marquez again, their fights were great.

  28. thewhitepele10 says:

whats with all the hatton hate? he seems like a good guy and has been a great fighter. i hope he comes back

  29. Jeremy Poynton says:

Well he’d do well with Ronaldo. They both fall over a lot…

  30. King Eric says:

Jeremy – At least Ronnie gets back up again though! Just summat about Hatton I don’t like and not just the fact he is a citeh fan. Find him tacky, chavvy and very unfunny!

  31. King Eric says:

the white Pele – I really dont think he will come back from this, lets be honest he got a right fuckin pasting. There are only so many years you can have the diet that he has had between fights before it catches up. It is now catching up with him, battered at the weekend and totally outfought, outthought and out witted by Mayweather. Retire now Ricky.
