The Sun really seem to have given up having any Journalistic integrity when it comes to sports reporting (The rest of the paper never had that anyway) since they were duped last summer into reporting that we had signed Berba because a Norwegian United Fan Site that shared some style elements to the official site posted it on their page. They reported it as an Official announcement, Cost United an extra 6 million as Levy bought it as fact (or saw it as a way of screwing us out of more millions, why he didn’t do that with Liverpool over Keane after Rafa did tap him up in every single interview he did, although perhaps he knew Keane would flop and they could get him back at a fraction of the sell price) but since then they have decided that they want to be the Perez Hilton of football Journalism and just spout as much crap as they can

If we get an offer of £10M + Fergie would take it, without doubt. He’s lost a yard of pace has gone soft. Considering the matches he’s missed with with slight injuries over the last year Fergie will want rid before too long. When you compare rio to Evans who has played through injury there is no doubt evans is the way forward.

I think it’ll be good business for MU. If Madrid and Barca make a bid for him, a price war will take place and the one to gain will be United. In fact, with the number of injuries plaguing him the past few seasons, SAF will be wise enough to cash in on him. There are a number of youngsters on the way up such as Cathcart who can team up with seasoned campaigners like Vidic, Brown or Evans. If Vidic also decides to go to sunny Spain, then it will be back to square one.

I would not rule out ferdinand leaving. with real madrids insane spending united could milk madrid another 25 or 30 plus million for ferdinand. barcelona and milan clubs have a ton of cash to spend and if a big offer did come in and with the ever improving evans, ferdinand leaving next summer presuming cathcart steps up ferdinand could be sold.

IMO this is another bullshit from the sun. As someone said before they wrote it only to gather as many readers as it possible.

On the other hand, the sun was first tabloid which wrote about Michael Owen transfer, and anyone trust it, still i thing that it is another funy story made by the sun.

btw. As far as I remember Rio said that he want to end his career at Old Trafforrd and I trust him.
