Rio: We Will Stay Successful Without Ronaldo and Tevez

Rio Ferdinand is the latest United player to answer the question ´And how do you think you will cope next season without Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez?´

Like all the players before him, Rio reckons we will be just fine, as we always are after selling good players.

“When you lose any players, your team plays differently no matter who you lose,” said Ferdinand. “We lost two very good players in Cristiano and Carlos, but Manchester United is a club that moves on and has remained a successful side. We have done that in recent years when we lost players of the ilk of David Beckham nd Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Veron and players like that. People thought we would fall by the wayside, but it didn’t happen.”

Not sure what he´s on about with Veron though…

    Welcome back Scott!
lol, yeah the Veron part was mostly out of Respect i guess! :P

Veron was an awesome player – he just never fit in to the English game.

I am so over this chat about Ronaldo and Tevez though… and I sense we are going to hear it all season as well – especially if United don’t perform.

in all fairness to Rio, Veron (or ming the merciless as we used to call him) was supposed to be amazing…………….. on the training pitch

Its all very well saying we’ll be successful and all….
But i really think the pressure is on….

Sir Alex is again playing his mind games here…He was the first one to come out and say that we’ll do fine without ronaldo and tevez although it is quite clear that if it was upto him both players would never have left
( Ronaldo: he keeps saying he’s the best,
Tevez: SAF only said that he wasn’t worth 25 million, but he would have been happy to keep him if he had been available for less)

SAF then made Giggsy, one of his most trusted generals to come out with the same kind of words…that we will cope without them….

And he hopes that this same feeling and confidence will slowly permeate down to the players and the squad…It’s his way of inspiring and making the squad actually believe that they can do better and cope without them…

And it seems to be working!!!
Hats off to Sir Alex again….

This cunt ‘Ollie Irish’ will be having to eat his own words in a year’s time —–I’m sure our midfield is going to contribute at least 40 goals this season with anderson, Nani, Park, Valencia,Carrick Welbeck and Macheda all pitching in…

See u in a year’s time you laughing twat!

Good old Rio – a gentle dig at Ronny only scoring against smaller teams and a gentle nudge at anyone who is dumb enough to criticise Berbatov?
(in my opinion Veron wasn’t fully appreciated just like Berba isn’t now…)

My opinion, Veron wasn’t really given a chance. His play was limited to accomodate someone. When his play clicked, it was awesome. 5-3 against Spurs, remember?

  8. READ CAREFULLY WHAT I says:

I remember Fergie saying that the very best goal he ever saw scored was by Veron – on the training pitch though.

The little witch – LaBrujita – never did his magic at Old Trafford but is playing really well in Argentina at the moment.

when i play on fifa having ronaldo on the wing it saddens me that we won’t be seeing him next year, having the excitement u get when he picks up the ball and runs at the opposition. although i know united will always be a force and i know we have some of the best players in the world its still a massive shame he’s gone. kind of like a distant relative dying who was a bit of a laugh whenever u saw them on a night out. as for tevez he can ram his little scarred face up my labradors arse
