when i play on fifa having ronaldo on the wing it saddens me that we won’t be seeing him next year, having the excitement u get when he picks up the ball and runs at the opposition. although i know united will always be a force and i know we have some of the best players in the world its still a massive shame he’s gone. kind of like a distant relative dying who was a bit of a laugh whenever u saw them on a night out. as for tevez he can ram his little scarred face up my labradors arse

I remember Fergie saying that the very best goal he ever saw scored was by Veron – on the training pitch though.

My opinion, Veron wasn’t really given a chance. His play was limited to accomodate someone. When his play clicked, it was awesome. 5-3 against Spurs, remember?

Its all very well saying we’ll be successful and all….
But i really think the pressure is on….

Sir Alex is again playing his mind games here…He was the first one to come out and say that we’ll do fine without ronaldo and tevez although it is quite clear that if it was upto him both players would never have left
( Ronaldo: he keeps saying he’s the best,
Tevez: SAF only said that he wasn’t worth 25 million, but he would have been happy to keep him if he had been available for less)

SAF then made Giggsy, one of his most trusted generals to come out with the same kind of words…that we will cope without them….

And he hopes that this same feeling and confidence will slowly permeate down to the players and the squad…It’s his way of inspiring and making the squad actually believe that they can do better and cope without them…

And it seems to be working!!!
Hats off to Sir Alex again….

Veron was an awesome player – he just never fit in to the English game.

I am so over this chat about Ronaldo and Tevez though… and I sense we are going to hear it all season as well – especially if United don’t perform.
