    I just like how sure you are he won’t return.

  2. samuel - united WE stand says:

    It is just pure logic, the last thing moyes needs is to chase more unrealistic signings and that’s what ronaldo is at this moment. He may leave madrid at the end of his contract of 2years left, united may have a,chance then but he could also nail a lucrative new contract at madrid, the odds,are against united unless he refuses a contract and he chooses to run it down.

  3. Wakey says:

    The teams City and Chelsea are now playing have only just started preseason as their seasons start later than in England. They should be winning fairly easierly because of that just as you would expect.

    I will keep saying it but its where United have been smart. Only 3 teams we will have faced won’t have been midseason, those are A-League All Stars, Kitchee and Seville (although not sure that really counts, espeically if the reports that Usain Bolts going to be playing in that game). The games have been tough and I suspect we will see a benefit from that at the start of the season where our levels of fitness should be much higher than our rivals who have played easier games against teams who are at the same stage of preseason or even a few weeks behind

    “I guess it isn’t all about fitness for City and Chelsea then…”

    Nice one Diego! Point well made.

    “The games have been tough and I suspect we will see a benefit from that at the start of the season”

    That’s a very bold claim, considering how tough our opening fixtures are. If we don’t get off to a good start will you admit that you were wrong or will you come up with another excuse?

  6. Wakey says:

    @The Truth
    Would an easier set of games against teams who at best had a match fitness level at the same as us have made the start any easier? No it wouldn’t have.

    And I hardly made bold claims, I didn’t say we wouldn’t drop points just that I think we will see a benefit from the tougher games that have pushed the players level of fitness. There are dozens of reasons a team can lose a game and we may very well lose games in the first month or so BUT one of the factors I’m confident it won’t be because is that the other team has a superior level of match fitness

  7. King Eric says:

    Pal. Wayne’s correct , in my opinion you are a wind up merchant. Pipe down about city it’s getting boring. You keep raving about that 90 year old smack head Pellegrini. He has FUCK ALL premier league experience so we’ll see how good he is. Can’t personally stomach watching City but the bits I have seen they’ve looked garbage. Lost two best strikers in Tevez and the nut job and brought in two average ones. A homesick winger who didn’t score a single goal last season and ANOTHER midfielder they don’t need. I don’t worry about other teams what’s the point?

  8. Wakey says:

    @King Eric
    Worst of all is he says they look good but lets look at their results
    South Africa – Lost both games. The South African league runs roughly the same as ours. It actually kicks off later so they would be a week or two behind city

    Asia Trophy – Beat south china 1-0. A team that’s also in preseason. Ok the pitch conditions played a part but hardly impressive. Then could only beat Sunderland 1-0 who should be roughly at the same fitness levels

    Audi Cup – Beat AC Milan 5-3 but didnt looks massively impressive really. Italy’s season kicks off later so they are behind in fitness levels (even though they look to have played more games but some of them were 45 minute matches). Bayern have played a fair number of matches in preseason so that’s the only one they on paper should have lost when judging on fitness (I’m not sure what’s going on with Bayern. They seem to be paying on obscene number of games although some of them are just pointless as the oppenents are so weak

    Fabregas flattered by united interest but keen not to leave barca early.Ancelotti reveals Mordic will play large part of his plans.At this rate..wake me up when the season starts and good luck to Dave….
