  2. Fze123 says:

It’s actually the only football website in that list.

  3. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Well done Scott. It most certainly is something to cheer about!!!

Well done Scott! No shame to losing to Simpsons and Star Wars. ;)

  9. Stand up for the Red Army says:

Big grats Scott:) This is not a website, this is our utopia:D

  10. Paul Parker says:

Congrats Scott the Red, now lets keep it that way aye ;)

BTW, been meaning to ask for ages now, what the fuck is ABU ?

from the negative context I can guess, but im not 100%.

    Anybody?

  11. willierednut says:

United, ROM, Family in that order.

  12. Fred says:

    Congratulations to Scott. :-)

“This strangely Russian-themed Manchester United fansite is an award-winning temple to the Red Devils. That’s not to say it’s sycophantic, though, because fans’ comments tagged onto every story keep things real.”

He didn’t mention anyone by name but I think we all know whose comments in particular the writer is referring to. ;-)

  13. willierednut says:

    Anyone but United.

  14. Paul Parker says:

aaaah, makes sense…. I think I’ll save my fuck the media rant for another thread lol.

    cheers.

  15. Fred says:

@Paul Parker, “ABU” stands for “Anyone But United.” It refers to rival fans whose hatred of United outweighs their love for their own teams. Who do they support? “Anyone but United.”

  16. Paul H says:

Well done. There are too few places that offer the opportunity for Red’s to discuss and debate the big issues.

(oh, and some of your articles aren’t bad either ;-) )

  17. Paul Parker says:

    The Times Writer wrote

“…..That’s not to say [ROM] is sycophantic, because fans’ comments tagged onto every story keep things real”

Important point, thats why anybody with something to say should say something, and anybody who disagrees with anything anybody says should either laugh at the screen or engage them. The whole point of a blog is if anybody talks shit you bully em off the board lol. So if you see a cunt sowing dissent on ROM point em out. Yes, admittedly the last 2 weeks have been utter bollocks from a supporter perspective, esp after coming so close to winning it all against all the odds, but who gives a fuck? Because anybody who knows anything knows it was always going to be tight this year AND anybody who knows anything knows we’ll be ready for the world next season, including Barcelona (who have hit a different class late in this season)

Im just glad Ronaldo and City will end the Season trophyless. Winning the League Cup was huge for us this year, cant speak for all of you, but after the injuries and occasional poor performances esp from Berbatov and Carrick, I think we’ve done well to get to Wembly and win this year.

Now Pass me my Sambrero and fuck off you Gringo Bastards!

  18. willierednut says:

    si senor

  19. warwick says:

Well done Scott for provoking the discussions, (especially like the stats which give a different flavour) and well done to the fans without whose contributions, the blog would be going nowhere.

  20. Paul Parker says:

Liverpool were Bollocks today against Fulham, I hope that Bastard Rafa suffers multiple lacerations on his fat fingers fumbling with that sodding piece of paper at teh end of the season searching for FACTS as to why his Huge Club are fighting with humble Fulham for European Glory.

Did anyone see the beginning of MOTD these BBC ABU Bastards are already shitting on us. Fuck em, we’ve won a victory just being in contention this year. Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal should all be ashamed of their postion behind us thus far, and Chelsea should be ashamed they werent 10 points clear by Christmas. Anyway, let me watch this performance again and weep in my beer in peace. Valencia really should have scored, because this game had DRAW written all over it, which is a shame considering we had a 30 million pound stirling striker on the pitch against stubborn Blackburn.

Cya Fellas. These BBC Bastards are commenting from the perspective of ABU, they say nothing of Blackburn at all, every “unbiased” comment is about us dropping points, Alec having a horrible last few games, is our title hope over? blah blah blah. Who gives a fuck if we fail to win our Fourth in a Row? And who gives a fuck if THIS season isnt the year we overtake Liverpool? What LAW says we must win everything every year ? VICTIMS OF OUR OWN BRILLANCE !!!! lol

  27. torontored says:

I have been watching United since 1957- we have suffered disappointments before and will again.

This site is without doubt the “the best” –

This year was a bad one because we were written off by all and sundry prior to the season even starting due to the departure of CR7- did not need the lazy twat. But it took us a while to find our stride – we have had a pile of injuries to key players all year, and some stupid results – Nani has become the player expected when bought by SAF to replace Giggs . Anderson (21) got done and expected to be the Scholes replacement (attitude needed but will fill the role – remember Scholes did not drop to central midfield untill he was in his mid to late 20′s).

Raphael slagged in the press but look at how many times Gary Neville got turned in his youth – Raphael is 18! We have some good talent coming up – Macheda/Possebon/Patruzzi etc

What worries /Vidic Ferdinand / VDS – the core of any team is the spine – how may times did we lose it (or win it) without that core. Where are the replacments. Evra our most consistent player all year – looked totally knackerd in the last 3 or 4 games. The whole team looked dead – not helped shit ref decisons in not one game but several and crucial ones at that (Chelsea two times etc etc) – have a feeling after this last weekend this situation will have to change – otherwise the FL and FA will be a joke more than what is already is.

Yeah angry, gutted and pissed off by the last week – but we do not not need a lot more. We have a load of exprience and a lot of raw talent coming up. What do Chelsea have – what do the vermin have – what do City have – what do Arse have – nothing compared to what we have!!!

We are Manchester United – get over the frustation get on with the job. Ferguson will as will the players.

    UNITED 19/4

  35. DomCon says:

@Paul Parker – the BBC is the worst kind of ABU media. You expect the tabloids to be spouting ABU stuff just to get ppl to buy their rags. One would think the beeb would be better – but thats hardly the case.

In the MOTD coverage of the Utd – Liverpool game, they banged on about how that argie scum’s foul on Valencia was not a penalty, how Howard Webb had awarded Utd another dubious penalty at OT that changed the game (ala Spurs last season) etc, but not a peep abt how Mascherano shoudve been sent off for being the last man.

Theyre the devil in angel’s garb, so to speak. Most of the media is wetting themselves with glee at Utds downfall.. Like you said, we’re victims of our success. Ppl love fallen heroes more than heroes.

  36. sarah says:

Congratulations Scott ,RoM and everyone Who makes/made this site the best

Wow. You guys sure are picking up a lot of awards. Congratulations.

  41. elvido says:

Is it the only PL blog on the list?
On another note, the fact that we are in transition this year after losing one big player and a important sqaud player has been lost on most of us fans. The injuries haven’t helped either. I am looking forward to the youngsters getting more games and maybe another great addition to the team! To emphasize…

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/manutd/7579057/Manchester-United-are-in-transition-and-their-problems-are-nowhere-near-terminal.html?

  42. sinred says:

I am still trying to figure why this is a Russian themed site. Anyone care to help me out?

  43. TheBusbyWay says:

Congrats again, the awards keeping coming amd well deserved they are!

  44. Fred says:

    @elvido – Good article, thanks.

Funny thing is, before the season started I had very low expectations and actually predicted Chelsea would win the league and we would do fuck-all in the Champions League. If I’d fallen into a coma in August and woke up in May to find United had been knocked out of the CL at the 1/4 final stage and finished 2nd/3rd in the league I wouldn’t have been surprised. But man, WE WERE SO CLOSE!

When Wazza went over on his ankle in Munich I thought “there goes our season” but, damn, I didn’t think our surrender would be quite so pathetic. :-(

  45. Fred says:

Then again, if I’d fallen into a coma in August, RoM would have been a much emptier place these last several months, wouldn’t it. :-D

  46. elvido says:

:) Guess the fans are as persistent as the team. At the start of the season, I had no expectations at all, not trophy wise at least. By Jan though I was looking forward to a double! The end as it were was a damp squib but I am happy with most of our players and disappointed with a couple. Next season we will have a larger and more experienced squad to play with, and at the cost of sounding arrogant I am more comfortable with our European campaigns than i have ever been despite the Bayern loss!

  47. ace red devil says:
