Nice touch from ChelseaD, he is a decent fella and good guy and when he has posted on this site he has always spoken a lot of sense.

Am I the only one who sincerely hopes O’Neill doesn’t get the job? A decent enough manager but not for United. Has found his level at Villa.

  3. Fred says:

Saw a picture that shows Ramsey was the one who jumped into that 50/50 last night, both feet off the ground.

Add that to the fact that there are pictures that seem to show his leg snapped on the ground before Shawcross even touched him and it makes you wonder…

  4. King Eric says:

Fred – Have you a link mate? I have also heard that his ankle may have turned in the ground before the challenge. Hmm. interesting.

  5. Fred says:

King Eric – Certainly have, mate.

Ramsey’s leg snaps on impact WITH THE TURF:

Some people will argue that the second photo is from after the impact with Shawcross but if you watch the video of the incident you’ll see that upon impact Shawcross flies straight past Ramsey, he doesn’t rebound backwards.

Shawcross clearly did hit Ramsey and might have made his injury worse but Ramsey’s leg was already broken before Shawcross even touched him.

To summarise: RAMSEY BROKE HIS OWN LEG by recklessly lunging into the 50/50 with Shawcross. Oh, the irony.

I hate the guy but Craig Bellamy’s interview was absolutely quality….

“I know what JT is like, nothing he does surprises me..Everybody in football knows what the guy is like. But that is off the field………”
    ha ha

Fred – Bloody hell, interesting. At first I thought the bottom picture was PRIOR to connection but like you say Ryan does not rebound off him.

  8. King Eric says:

Sorry meant to say I cannot actually open the top one, at work that site is blocked so will have a look when I get home.

  9. Fred says:

Actually, I suppose the second picture could be after Shawcross went through Ramsey’s right leg, so maybe my theory is wrong.
