    I love watching the red cafe on mutv every wednesday
    but not again

    also that was the first quotes i have read tevez saying in about 15 months that i enjoyed

  2. Less than 2 weeks till Emily Jane hits the theatre of dreams says:

    i also feel for Chris Smalling
    i sit here on my laptop at home while washing delph
    in 18 months time if im seen as the guy who will replace vidic if he leaves United The pressure would be killing me

  3. King Eric says:

    Morning

    Gotta hate – Hello mate, that link is surely a lie. I watched red cafe last night and there were PLENTY of folk in Green and Gold.

    Good article by Ogden. I actually quite like the bloke. The dippers continue to live in our shadow the horrible cunt’s. The fact their protests are led by the scandalous “Spirit of Shankly” speaks volumes. Munich chants at their end of year bash.

  4. sinred says:

    I think Tevez will also know that in his country moving from Boca to River Plate would be something that one may not survive.

    I’ve always wondered whether Tevez’s inability to speak or read English prevented him from finding out the intensity of rivalry between City and United.

    When Tevez was with us the rivalry barely reached the intensity that it has this season. He probably felt nobody would notice.

  5. Edge says:

    has Smalling done anything good at all since his first game for Fulham.

    £10 million. Joke.

  6. ronaldooney says:

    Tevez is right about the things he said in that interview.He was a part of a gang too when he was young in argentina.

    Smalling was shocking yesterday. Hope he can get his act together at United under SAF. There were better options in the market available for 14 million. Atleast 4-5 of them.

  7. Tony Starks says:

    @Edge… I hear what your saying, but lets at least give the guy a chance to come and play in the shirt before making that judgment…

  8. sprite says:

    let’s give Smalling a chance, come on..
    But I have one question, will Corry Evans, Oliver Norwood etc. be able to play as “english” or “foreign” in the new rule?

  9. jeet says:

    @ronaldooney : Is that how Tevez got his scarface?

  10. Welbz19 says:

    With regards to smalling u really can tell he has come from non league football – poor touch and terrible Reading of the game, and also a seious lack of concentration! Give him a few months with the united coaches then the touch can certainly be improved, he himself can improve his concentration, it’s just his general Reading of the game that I am not sure whether he can improve that or not!
    He does have some good qualities tho pace, height, also made a couple of really good recovery tackles albiet after he’d made mistakes!
    Can’t help feeling that he is no better than what we already coming through, Reece Brown in particular has the same qualities he has pace, height yet he also has a much better touch, then there is Scott Wooton who lacks pace (and is also scouse, but lets not hold that against him) but is excellent in all other aspects of the game!

  11. Tony Starks says:

    @sprite… I beleive they will be ‘home grown’ – nationality does not come into it…

  12. Less than 2 weeks till Emily Jane hits the theatre of dreams says:

    Jeet
    he pulled a pot of boiling water over himself when he was a kid .
    @King Eric
    I missed the red cafe last night due to the fact i was playing on a slide
    I was shocked to read that but if you say it was a lie im backing you for the truth
    as i said already about smallings anybody here try been his age and then in 18 months time be seen as the guy who will replace vidic if he leaves United .

  13. Ronaldooney says:

    @Jeet

    no.it was due to the boiling water that fell on him when he was young.

  14. willierednut says:

    The article by Mark Ogden is spot on, apart from a few protests what have sos actually done. Any – one else think Theo Wallcot is the most over – rated player ever.

  15. Fred says:

    Ronaldo out, Obertan in.
    Tevez out, Owen in.
    Vidic out, Smalling in.

    Remain calm! All is well! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDAmPIq29ro

    Just teasing, of course. I’m sure he’ll turn out fine. ;-)

  16. Alpha_RS says:

    @Fred
    Just a thought here.
    Would we be happier as United fan’s if the Glazer’s agreed to set up the fan ownership scheme on their exit whenever it maybe? Therefore the “Red Knights” would not be required? I think that would be a very good idea.

  17. Sanj says:

    MUST membership just under 110K.

  18. Costas says:

    Good evening gentlemen. Slow news day.

    A report on how our lads did this week:

  19. Less than 2 weeks till Emily Jane hits the theatre of dreams says:

    Any truth in Hargreaves playing against stockport on monday

  20. Costas says:

    Haven’t heard anything about it GHTT, but I really hope it’s true.

    On another topic, Cole still doesn’t like Teddy:

    http://www.rs.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2010/03/04/1817906/andy-cole-reignites-dispute-with-former-england-manchester

  21. Sanj says:

    @GHTT
    Where’d you hear the Hargreaves rumour?

  22. Ronaldooney says:

    Hargreaves wont play this season.with a full preseason behind him hope he can come back next season.

  23. Costas says:

    @LunG420

    That’s disgraceful.

  24. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric GHTT – are we suprised by this no, look at the poor parasite family after they complained that goldman is a big critic of their ownership. They are like the nazi’s anyone say anything bad about them when near the club they go mad. They can try and block all the protests they want but its coming and coming and once it starts it wont stop.

  25. rooney the new king says:

    I ment o neils a critic of their debt driven ownership.

  26. Less than 2 weeks till Emily Jane hits the theatre of dreams says:

  27. Drew Vader says:

    Costas — THATS the big reason for Cole’s hatred of Teddy?!?! That is so freakin lame. He didn’t wish you well as he came off the pitch?? Give me a fucking break! He was probably pissed off about being substituted. Cole sounds like a crybaby little girl…

  28. Costas says:

    @Drew Vader

    Lol, tell me about it. I thought there was a serious bust up between the two during the game against Bolton in 1998. I think that they are just two people that can’t get along. Good thing it never showed when they played together!

  29. bchilds says:

    That’s such a petty thing for Cole & Teddy to get involved in!

  30. rooney the new king says:

    Costas – what a childish thing sheringham and cole been fighting over, its not a terry bridge rival is it and why bridge hates terry.

  31. King Eric says:

    Fuck me lads. For the fifth time now before anyone else posts that story on how a fan was thrown out of red cafe last night there were plenty of people in there with green and gold on!!

  32. King Eric says:

    Great to see Smalling being written off before he even puts a United shirt on. Give the lad a chance, after all what the fuck does Fergie know?

  33. Costas says:

    @rooney the new king

    Yeah it really is. I actually remember that game. Coley’s first real test for England. He actually had a header rebound of the crossbar. Pity he never replicated his United form for England. My best mate and I always argued who was better: Cole or Fowler!

  34. Less than 2 weeks till Emily Jane hits the theatre of dreams says:

    king eric
    the guy is saying he was apart of the show till the add break then was asked to take it off.
    but as ive already said im beleiving you as i didnt see the show and you did with your own eyes

  35. Sanj says:

    Anyone see what Tevez said about Terry? Pretty funny. I wonder how his neighborhood treats traitors.

  36. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric – he propably did say that and it propably happened despite there were others with the colors but what it shows it sums up the complete lack of knoledge the parasites have for the club, they should watch games from the 93/94 season when united where wearing the greatest away kit they have ever used.

  37. aig alex is god says:

    Tevez is right about terry.

    Think it is too early to judge smalling. Lets wait for some time and let him get regular starts.I would have wanted to see us sign one of subotic,hummels or kjaer but with the rule of a certain number of english players to be introdeuced this is good move and smalling will improve with time

    Anybody saw Argentinas friendly yesterday?. One player who is impressing is Gonzalo Higuain. Class act and is scoring a lot of goals.Heard he rejected a new contract offer at Madrid Di Maria did well too yesterday.He also has said he wants to join united.

  38. willierednut says:

    http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/405516849?-11193
    Looks like the little duck is gonna be fit.

  39. willierednut says:

    @aig
    Haven’t seen much of Di Maria, how did he play?

  40. aig alex is god says:

    @willierednut

    That is bad news.A lot of people are underestimating him and writing him off but i have no doubt he is a class act. I watch Serie A regularly and he does score quite often and will be one of the best players in the near future. With our centrebacks lacking pace as exposed by Agbonlahor i am worried about both Pato and Boriello. Both are quick and have good movement and looks like both will be fit to start next week.Also Ronaldinho will be up against Brown. Not looking good.

  41. aig alex is god says:

    @willierednut

    Good performances against Everton followed by good performances domestically including a hat trick at the weekend.Has become a regular for Argentina now

    Played well yesterday. Was a tight game initially but Di Maria made some good runs, forced a good save and sent Higuain clear to score the only goal of the game. Looks very promising and the lad is just 22. If we can get him for 15-18 million we should go for him.I know we have a lot of wingers but many of them are versatile and we can fit Dik Maria in the side. he would be a better signing than someone like Silva IMO who is very injury prone and dosent score enough goals

  42. rooney the new king says:

    aig alex is god – is it me or united should have done a swap deal with madrid with ronaldo and Higuain. we get 60 million plus Higuain, PPL shot me down when I said it to a phew united fans but rooney and Higuain upfront with valencia crossing would have been deadly and we could have rested rooney on a phew more ocasions, add the fact Higuain could compliment berbatov better when rooney is rested.

  43. aig alex is god says:

    rtnk

    Higuain is doing very well and did well last season too. I wish we would have gone for him. I would have even taken 45-50 million and higuain. he is just 22 years old and has really crisp finishing .Has made Benzema warm the benches at madrid.I would love to see Rooney + Pato or Rooney + Higuain but it wont happen i guess. This isnt fantasy football. United wont spend 30-40 million on them

  44. willierednut says:

    It ill be interesting to see milan’s midfield, cant see leonardo playing the same midfield.

  45. aig alex is god says:

    @willierednut

    think this will be the Milan team . Just a guess. they have tricky game away with Roma at the weekend so things can change

    Abbiati
    Abate
    Nesta
    Thiago Silva
    Antonini
    Ambrosini
    Pirlo
    Seedorf
    Ronaldinho
    Pato
    Boriello

  46. RedDeviled Egg says:

    Did anyone watch Nani play for Portugal yesterday?
    I’ve read that he played very well. I sure hope he gets back in the side and lighst up defences again

  47. rooney the new king says:

    aig alex is god – na pato rooney there is no balance, yea you are right Higuain reminds me of fernando torres in the way he plays. I would still love a world class central striker play off rooney. I know rooney has done extremly well but he needs a break at times and if united invest in another world class striker in the summer we will domminate the league for years to come, but the key is getting through this season and retaining the premier league title thats the holy greail for this season.

  48. aig alex is god says:

    @rtnk

    Pato and Rooney will help us have mobility up front. 2 Young strikers who have pace and are really good at finishing.

    If we can get somebody young upfront it will be good with regards to the future because we have diouf too who has a lot of potential. however that can wait till the summer. we have to step it up now and get the 4th title to shut up all the ABUs.

  49. willierednut says:

    That looks like a strong team aig, but they do have tough game against roma before they play us. I have a feeling rooney will be rested against wolves and maybe valencia as well, we could go with nani and park for the wovles game.

  50. aig alex is god says:

    willierednut

    It is a strong team but roma and Milan are both in the hunt for the title so it will be a energy sapping game for Milan and will be physical so they could pick up few more injuries

    As for the Wolves game i hope Rooney is rested but then again with owen out Berba will be upfront alone?.Cant see that happening unless Diouf is in line for a start. valencia may be rested. he and possibly park will start against Milan.

  51. rooney the new king says:

    willierednut – na I doubt rooney will be rested fergie is taking no chances in the premiership. It is not like last year where if rooney was rested it would not have had much of an effect

  52. Costas says:

    Guys, don’t be surprised if Giggs returns over the next week. It’s almost been a month since his injury. Did Valencia play this week?

  53. aig alex is god says:

    @Costas

    hi mate.

    Dont think Ecuador played this week. So Valencia should be fresh for Saturday.Giggs, valencia, nani, park all available it will be a real boost for us during the run in.Also Park, valencia are doing well. Peaking at the right moment for us.Vidic is back too. Hope we can have rio and Vida fit for the coming games although i doubt that will happen.

  54. willierednut says:

    Dont know if Valencia played Costas, hope he didn’t.

  55. Costas says:

    @AIG

    Morning (for you :P ) mate. Exactly. Our strikers might have 1-2 issues, but at least the wingers are hitting top form. I think Vida was rested this week by Serbia(big thanks to them), so he will be ok. According to Fergie’s timetable, Rio should be ready for Wolves or for Milan. I will give my lineup after Fergie’s press conference tomorrow.

  56. King Eric says:

    Hello Costas. Yeah I think Ryan’s cast comes off tomorrow. It is nice to know that at least Scholes and Nani are well rested for Saturday. I would imagine it will be a case of Wolves just sitting back and defending. I believe they only play with Doyle up top even at home. Vidic will have him in his pocket.

  57. King Eric says:

    aig – Hello mate. Has Higuain rejected an offer? I thought I read somewhere that he wants to spend the rest of his career at the fascists. As for Kjaer he has yesterday said he would like to join up with Agger at the dippers so fuck that cunt mate.

  58. King Eric says:

    aig – What do you mean it isn’t looking good? We are 3-2 up in the tie and playing at home. OT will be electric on Wednesday so lets see how they cope. We get an early goal they need 4. It is looking good from where I am sitting.

  59. Costas says:

    Hi King Eric. I think Nani played against China this week. But that’s more positive than negative. He needed a game after his ban. Scholes will play the next two games I would imagine.

  60. willierednut says:

    @Costas
    I thought saf said Rio wouldn’t be ready for the milan game.

  61. aig alex is god says:

    @King Eric

    Hi mate.

    The Higuain story.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1254993/Manchester-City-high-alert-Gonzalo-Higuain-turns-new-Real-Madrid-offer.html

    read the kjaer story myself. Possibly he will go to the dippers but can they afford him?. Not sure of that

  62. King Eric says:

    Just shows how much of “a one man team” United are. Put Rooney in an Ingerlund shirt and just watch how shite the service is. He didn’t get one cross or ball his way last night. Makes me laugh they were talking on talkshite tonight saying that Ingerlund can go 4-5-1 with Rooney on his own “as thats how United do it”. Yeah the difference is that Nani, Valencia and Giggs are different class to fucking Walcott, Saint Steven and Lennon.

  63. King Eric says:

    aig – Thanks mate.

    Costas – Oh silly me. I had completely forgotten about the Internationals. I was basing that on the fact he hasn’t featured for United in 3 games! Idiot.

  64. aig alex is god says:

    @King Eric

    I think the Milan tie isnt over yet. Of course we can score early and its all over but we shouldnt be too complacent. Milan often fancy playing away from home in the CL then at the San Siro because their playing pattern is better suited to big away games.

    I meant the injury news isnt looking very good for us.Rio most probably wont make it and rafael will miss the game too. We need a fully fit defence for that one.Milan are getting vital players like Abate,Boriello, Seedorf who didnt start the 1st leg are back for Milan and should start the game

    Will watch the Milan Roma game. Should be a cracker

  65. aig alex is god says:

    @Costas

    you are right. Its 2:30 AM here. I heard Rio was out for 2 weeks during the West Ham game. That means he may miss the Milan game?.With rio you cant be sure unless you see him on the pitch. he can feel the pain in his back anytime.Have been some cases of him pulling out at the last minute

    Vida was rested yesterday?. Didnt know that. Tosic scored for Serbia yesterday.

    Off to sleep. Good Night everyone

  66. Costas says:

    @willie, AIG

    Sorry guys. Sir Alex did say about 2 weeks. I just got confused because the papers said that he could be back for Wolves. But it could be a long shot…

    Goodnight AIG.

  67. Costas says:

    @King Eric

    Good point. And for the life of me, I didn’t understand why he kept Wayne on for so long. These friendlies give the managers a chance to fill the final blanks to their prefered 23 man squad. Capello should have tested the likes of Bent and Heskey to see if he can take them to SOuth Africa. Wayne is already there.

  68. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric – what suprises me is why ashley young is not playing because he is by far englands most productive wide player. against united he set up goals at OT and the cup final last year he was the premierships best assist wide player, you look at valencia how he has been beckham like with delivery to rooney, you would think fabio capello would try and use that model with young crossing to rooney.

  69. King Eric says:

    Sorry aig, I didn’t realise you meant injury wise. Anyway of course it isn’t over but I would be gutted if United had done the hard work at the San Siro only to fuck it up at home. Will be a belting tie that is for sure. What is up with Rafael and how long is he out for please? Thought it was just cramp.

  70. King Eric says:

    Costas – Yeah I was shouting at the screen for Capello to take Wayne off. Like you say he needs to be trying out other strikers, it is patently obvious Rooney is a starter.

    rtnk – hello mate. I think you are talking to the wrong person about Young. As I said last week I don’t like him. Great pace but far too inconsistent and always on his arse. He is however better than Walcott or the thug on the wing.

  71. Costas says:

    @King Eric

    Lord knows with Rafa and Fab. I think we have reached another point of the season where both of them carry knocks that will keep them out for an indefinite amount of time. I hope Fergie will have good news tomorrow.

    About Ashley Young. The first time I watched him, I was impressed. He skipped past Mikael Silvestre with ease and set up Watford’s goal against us. Did I say Silvestre? There goes my whole arguement! :D

    Seriously, I don’t know what to make of him. You look at all 3 right wingers and wonder if Becks will get the nod over them…

  72. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric – well I am a huge young fan and what makes him a little better than valencia and nani is he is good on both flanks, he is like kanchelskis great pace and power also he is good at scoring penaltys I would love to see him in a united shirt with valencia on the right and young on the left delivering for rooney.

  73. rooney the new king says:

    Costas – fabio and rafeal are still lightweight physically on and off the ball add the fact they still getting to know how to defend and make better decisions because they are prone to give away cheap fre kcicks and daft penaltys, they are physically still growing has players give them 2 more years and they will physically be ready to take the 50 60 game poundings of a season.

  74. United4eva says:

    Jim O’Neill facing being forced out of Goldman Sachs for being a Red Knight:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/04/jim-oneill-goldman-sachs-red-knights

    Looks like he’s bet the lot on this.

    LUHG.

  75. Costas says:

    @RTNK

    That’s true. And it seems like Brown will have to go back to being a right back for us for a few games. The problem is what happens if Evra gets injured.

  76. Mit says:

    The studs are funny

  77. rooney the new king says:

    Costas – VDS brown evans vidic evra if that was the patnership for most of the remaining season I will be happy

  78. Drew Vader says:

    Costas — If Evra gets injured I would be f’ing gutted! We don’t have JOS available. So who would go in there? Fabio or Ctl Alt Deleat??

  79. Drew Vader says:

    And as for resting Wayne on saturday as some have suggested earlier…

    In my opinion, NO FUCKING WAY!!! Anything less than 3 points would be a real kick to the nuts for the possibility of #19, which to me is by far the bigger priority than the CL. Yes it sucks that he played almost the full 90 mins yesterday and fuck Capello for that, but Wayne will just have to keep on truckin for us for the rest of this season.

  80. rooney the new king says:

    Drew Vader – dont underestimate the qualitys of de laat who is a cracking fullback, I said that resting rooney against wolves is not an option, I would rather rooney was rested against milan than wolves.

  81. Its in my blood says:

    @United4eva

    Read that earlier mate and regardless of my views on the Red Knights you have to admire his stand if indeed he does stick to his guns.

  82. welbz19 says:

    king eric
    Lennon is a quality player and before his injury was the best winger in the country, also think young is a really good player but is an absolute cunt never seen anyone hit the deck so easily and yes I have considered Ronaldo!!
    Walcott on the other hand is fucking useless living off reputation alone, never looks like he could change a game!

  83. rooney the new king says:

    Drew Vader – I agree it would make no sence to rest him against wolves when we are 1 foot into the next round, yea I the one who pointed out that resting rooney is not an option

  84. 7 days till she's Manchester bound says:

    Wellbz19
    I feel for little walcott . He’s no Rooney for England and not the striker arsenal need so they play better players up front and put him on the wing because he’s fast. He’s a better striker than he is winger he’s just not a good enough striker fir arsenal or England. I think if villa played 442 when all there player are fit he’d fit in up front for them

  85. rickmell says:

    Jim O’Neil is a red

  86. RedDevilzAdvocate says:

    Shit, sorry but off topic and its bad news, Owen’s out for the rest of the season.

  87. Costas says:

    What the fuck? That’s a big blow for us. We need the likes of Diouf and Kiko to step up now.

  88. Costas says:

    Other news:

    Evans is out for Wolves.

    Rio is set to start at Wolves.

    Rooney is a doubt for Wolves because he has played 150 minutes on the Wembley pitch the last week.

    Kiko is set to start training with the first team next week.

    Hargo will probably play for the reserves next Thursday!

  89. King Eric says:

    Morning

    A real sickener about Owen . I am sure he would have got us a goal or two in the run in in important matches. Pissed off about that. Only made better by the fact that Rio is back and HARGREAVES IS DUE TO START FOR THE RESERVES!!

    Hope Wayne does start tomorrow.

    What’s up with Evans please Costas?

  90. Costas says:

    @King Eric

    Morning mate. Fergie wouldn’t reveal much. Just that he picked up an injury while he was with Northern Ireland. That’s why he didn’t play. I hope it isn’t anything serious. No update on the twins either.

  91. Costas says:

    “Owen has shown for the first time this week that he’s almost ready to play. We’ve pencilled him in for a Reserves game next Thursday and he’s been training with the first team, which has been good to see.”

    - Sir Alex Ferguson

    Best news in a while.

  92. King Eric says:

    Costas – It is absolutley fantastic news mate as is Rio’s return. Pretty gutted about Owen though. Glad Kiko’s coming back I thought he had been fucked off out the club or summat, he has gone off the radar. Must be the same groin injury then. Reckon Fergie is playing games re Rooney.

  93. parryheid says:

    Edge how many millions of a joke is Valencia.At least let smalling kick a ball for us,we dont sign dross.
