    Morning.

Told Mike Italy would win. Well done. Always had a soft spot for them,. Balotelli is a nut case but when he wants to be he is top drawer. Great finish. Scweinsteiger bugs me. Bastian the beast and all that. I find him a bit over rated personally and a bit lazy. Fuck off Boateng you soft cunt jibbing that fifty fifty with De Rossi. Mowbray ” Its not like Neur to make a mistake” Really Guy? See one every fucking game. Fat arrogant bastard. At least the media won’t continue to lick “Yogi Loves ” arse and proclaim him the best manager thats ever lived. Yogi fucking Love. Grow up you cunts.

God I hate wing nut Lineker. “Can we borrow Pirlo”? No but you had Scholes and Carrick who can both run a game.

Like Cassano. What a handful he is.

Come on Italy, do the Spanish

  2. jeet says:

King Eric – thoughts on derossi’s body shape? :)

  3. TonyBee says:

king Eric…we can but dream with regard to the Eyeties doing the Onions…. The Germans showcased too much last night….and got fucked….

Speaking of new football blogs, may I recommend the Blizzard as a cool football blog run by the Guardian’s Jonathan Wilson?

It takes a more in-depth look at the history and tactics of the game as it has evolved. If you like Wilson’s The Big Question articles then on the whole you will like The Blizzard.

    It’s well worth a read.

  5. prasan_UTDfan4life says:

So the FA want Andrea Pirlo,
    Clueless as fuck,
They keep wanking on Parker’s bravado
Oh they had Scholesy & Carrick you see,
Ah, blind are they as fuck,
Let them drown with Captain Gerrard in the sea!

  6. Costas says:

Not the greatest tournament when it comes to current United representatives. And once again we won’t have one in the final. Don’t get me wrong, I like that they are getting a rest. But it would have been nice if we had something to look forward to in this final.

  7. CedarsDevil says:

Italy will win this thing………..Pirlo has been class, even though some question why the fuck he is deemed as such

  8. wayne says:

Rooney already back in the states was seen in LA last night US seems to one of his fav places

  9. Costas says:

    @wayne

So I’ve heard. The further away he’s from the tabloids, the better for him.

Speaking of Rooney, I read yesterday that he and the other Euro 2012 players won’t be a part of the pre season tour. I don’t know what’s the status of Hernandez, but it looks like he and Macheda will be the only strikers we’ll have available for those games. And probably Berbatov if he hasn’t found a new club by then.

  10. wayne says:

Costas think you’re right mate bit ironic TMZ reporting Rooney is in LA to escape the press,i’m beginning to think Berba is staying haven’t seen anything on him leaving, still early days i guess

  11. wayne says:

I’m bored of Modric talk, see some ex-Real players saying Modric not even good enough to play for Madrid,i’ve said it before not overly impressed myself, the 30-40mill price just to high

  12. Aristotle says:

I don’t think modric is the player we need. We need someone like fellaini of everton who can bring steel to our midfield and kick some arses when the arises.

  13. Zulu-Utd-Malta says:

According to Clikk Manchester.com, Jordi Alba signed for Barcelona for 14 million Euros. If that is the case we have to look elsewhere coz we are in need of a rookie fullback as soon as possible in my humble opinion !

  14. ahjs says:

Weren’t we in for Leighton Baines?

  15. Fred says:

LOL Jordi Alba £11m, Leighton Baines £20m. What a joke English football is.

  16. Costas says:

    @wayne

I have a suspicion that we are planning to keep Berba around for the tour since we need to have some big names present in Rooney, Danny and Nani’s absence. I remember the shitstorm that was created at the 2004 US tour when Fergie lest most of his international stars back home. As a result, he flew in Scholes and Neville (I think) for a game against Milan. Once the tour is over, your guess is as good as mine regarding Berba’s future. Up til now, the only club that appears to be interested is Malaga.

  17. Costas says:

    @Fred

Don’t know if I am right about this, but was Alba on the last 12 months of his contract? If so, that might explain his transfer fee. Similar to how Real got Ozil for peanuts. :(

Of course, with many English players overrated by the press, Baines would probably cost 20 mil if his contract also ended next reason.

  18. Fred says:

Costas – seems you’re right about Alba’s contract.

  19. United‘s no.1 african fan.. says:

I tink we should forget about modric and go for joao moutinho or miguel veloso. They are alot cheaper plus mr dan levy isn‘t de best of friends with united.

  20. FletchTHEMAN says:

What p*sses me off about Baines issue is that the entire episode reeks of media manipulation.

Barca buy a Ferrari at a bargain price
United buy a Mini for pay double.

  21. WillieRedNut says:

You say media manipulation, but you’re taking the fee quoted at face value? Lets wait and see Fletch! :)

  22. denton davey says:

no. 1 @ 14:32: “we should forget about modric and go for joao moutinho or miguel veloso.”

For the price quoted, UTD could buy BOTH Moutinho and Veloso !

  23. Ash says:

    Costas

I agree with you. It would have been great if a united player was playing in the final. Our players hardly do a impressive job in International tournament. Remember international tournament creates new fans of football so it would be great if united players do well.

For ex- If someone watched football for the first time yesterday would have but naturally become a fan of balotelli and could be starting to support city. I just hope in 2014 WC Atleast one player of us plays in the final

  24. King Eric says:

I do not rate Veloso one bit. Moutinho is quality.

Jeet – Hello mate. Ha . De Rossi looked as rugged as ever last night!

  25. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Hello King Eric. Guy Mowbry was fucking horrible to listen to last night. I’m sure he soiled his boxers every time Balotelli was on the ball. Agree with Neur, thought I was the only one, we dodged a bullet by not signing him.

  26. FletchTHEMAN says:

‪Maurice Watkins‬ steps down from Manchester United Board after 28 years.
    Will continue to advise .

  27. Jay says:

Would really love Moutinho or Sahin. I have liked Moutinho from watching a few games at Porto and then seeing him do well for Portugal, he has great vision and great passing ability. Sahin is wasted at Real Madrid he was instrumental to Dortmand winning their title in 2010/2011 season and named Bundesliga player that season. If he is available I hope we get him, Van der Vaart, Sneijder and Ozil were all on a snip and we missed the boat with those players.

  28. Fred says:

All the best to Mo Watkins. Top lawyer, top red.

  29. The WitchKing of Angmar says:

    Hello Reds,
Talking about signings, I would much prefer it if we signed a player who was better than what we already had. If that is not possible, then we should buy an up and coming youngster who would challenge the current team and be an improvement for the future. That is why I am elated by the Kagawa and Powell signings. One player who would improve the starting 11 straightaway and another who would improve the squad and is one for the future.
These are two qualities which Baines does not have. No one believes him to be better than Evra and hence would not be a starting player. There is talk however of him being a replacement for Evra. Please can someone tell me how a soon to be 28 year old is a replacement for a 31 year old? Makes no logical sense. The only time I would take Baines is if he was sold for 5mil. Otherwise, I would rather we sign a young LB with great potential and you bet there are quite a few out there. Its also imperative we sign another midfielder. Preferably a CDM in the mold of a Fellaini or a Strootman. With these two signings covered, we would be able to challenge on all fronts next season.

  30. Kagawa The Shirt-seller says:

Dan Petrucci, Ryan Tunnicliffe…??? this 2 names ring any bells?
Keep a spot for Will Keano also.
