Now lets buy those 5 lads from Bilbao
That comparison with LB and Evra makes interesting reading. Paddy is the better defender (funnily enough lol) – he makes twice the number of tackles as LB yet they both have the same success rate, and Evra makes four times as many arial challenges as LB and Paddy still has the higher success rate.
Evra is also the better distributer. He receives and passes more than LB across the pitch and his completion rates are higher. BUT the one area LB stands out head and shoulders is successfully putting the ball in the box, and anybody watching LB knows about his crossing ability down the flank and from corners. He’d be a decent signing for 12-15m.
Paddy critics should have a look at those stats, he’s clearly the better player and LB is hardly a slouch is he?
Berbatov could stick around another season, he was pure class two seasons ago its just a shame we overpaid as he’ll forever be judged on his fee. But Dimmy really is class and he should stay in case Rooney has another wobbler. Danny and Hernandez are both settled so 4 strikers next season isn’t too many imo.

Thanks for the link to the del Bosque piece. Hope people enjoy it.
Berbatov to Galatasaray would be a shame. He deserves to be playing on the biggest stage.
That United credit card, fucking hell.
What on earth is the fuss about the Credit Card. The Article even states “Andrew Hagger at Moneynet admitted the card was “not bad” with the interest rate below the average of 18.3pc.”
Most clubs have a credit card with their brand on and United have also in the past so what exactly is wrong with this. It gives a lower rate than you can get in many places (unless you earn enough to qualify for a non standard card) including most peoples own banks and gives you something in return
