Man Utd News 24/7

Hi everyone, been a long time since I’ve posted, such is the working life.
Just want to register my complete and utter disgust for the cunting fucking parasites that are the Glazers. What a joke. Despite their fucking devious ways and their overall air of cuntishness, I put up with them as Fergie was still delivering trophies, they didn’t interfere with team selection or transfer policy (Abramovich, Real Madrid) and stayed out of the way. But this is now one step way way way too far. Yes, I understand that in business you do take a slice of the profits when you are CEO, but not anything that will threaten the financial state of the company. I hate talking about my beloved football club as if it’s a business, but the harsh reality is that modern football is a business first, sport second. With that in mind, how the fuck can the Glazers justify their IPO plans?!? The debt stands at £437m at the moment (so I’m told) and all they plan to do is pump £75m in. So basically a year or two of interest payments. Yes the interest isn’t as high as the crippling PIK loans, but still interest is interest. The fact that £500m has been spent SERVICING the debt, not eradicating it, is just a complete and utter fucking disgrace. Obviously, the worst part being that the family will take £25m odd each. If we were debt free, or had a small amount of debt that is in no way affecting the business, like most fucking businesses do, then yes, feel free to take a small cut of the profits. But the fact that there is still £437m debt and they are doing the BARE FUCKING MINIMUM to reduce it, not to mention lining their own pockets, is nothing short of a complete and utter farce. And despite having a genuine love of Sir Alex, I’m really fucked off about his stance on this. He’s meant to be a man of the people, considering his political beliefs you’d think he would at least keep his counsel close. But no, he slags off the fans. That’s what has annoyed me most (well actually the Glazers taking money for their own little rat faced fucking cunting piece of shite bollocks wank fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckfaces has clearly fucked me off most), our manager won’t support the fans. The people who work their bollocks off, for maybe not that much pay, and yet try as much as they can to get to games and pay the price to see their beloved club. I’m becoming increasingly disillusioned with this. You’d think the Glazers would realise that if the debt is paid off they’ll make back whatever they paid to write it off in a matter of years, we are the most profitable franchise (excuse me I just vomited everywhere) in the world. £100m operating profit last I looked. It’s fucking absurd that people like this are allowed to even own a business let alone the most recognisable football club in the world. I’m heading towards owning my own business, and the glazer model is not anything any fucking business owner would dream of. I suppose the greedy bastards with no sense of morality would, but fucking hell. It’s getting to the stage where I’d rather see Captain Leader Legend Cunt wear our shirt rather than have the Glazers. Maybe that’s too far, the thought of his little fucking chavvy cunting haircut alone makes me sick. Not as sick as the Glazers ratty little fucking faces. It’d be all well and good if they didn’t fucking saddle us with debt to takeover the club for their own personal gain. They’ve negotiated great contracts and all that, but when you have massive debt weighing you down it’s not exactly something to be excited about. If I go to matches this coming season I will be wearing Anti Glazer apparel. I couldn’t give a flying fuck if I’m kicked out, if anything people will see that they are running OLD Trafford like fucking nazi germany. Not allowing fans to protest is a joke. I sense that this season could be pivotal in terms of getting rid of this fucking disease that is ruining the greatest football club in the world.
Well said mate completely concur. Sad days for our beloved Manchester United.
BobbyCharlie. From now on when you post on this site don’t hold back just let it go;-)
Looking at the Financial Times for expert’s comments regarding th IPO, it doesn’t look like there’s interest. More than two comments questioning classifying it as an ‘Emerging growth Company’. One says it’s securities fraud. Another says it resembles a hot potato so won’t be adding it to his portfolio. Yet another says if they can’t sell in Asia, it won’t sell in the U.S. The $3bn valuation seems to generate a few laughs.
*The IPO. Or sigh PO
Not another glazer thread, can’t be dealing with all the fucking idiots that show up out of the woodwork.
Glazers lied to us whatever money generated by the shares should have been applied to the debt. even if its only 100mill its better than nothing and the amount of bollocks I read yesterday comparing Utd to Leeds and Portsmouth, fuck me what a laugh
Utd are not in trouble and the anti Glazer movement dragging Sir Alex’s name through the mud and attacking him because the movement can’t get anywhere with the Glazers is fucking disgusting
Xol
Of course there is no interest on IPO.
The interest we all are talking about is from the loan brought into the club by the glazers during the take over on 2005.
Michael Carrick was a surprise visitor to a duck racing event organised by the North Cotswolds Rotary Club, at the village green on Saturday.
Club member Mike Boyes said: “He was on holiday in the Cotswolds with his family and bought a couple of ducks. They didn’t win but he wished us well.”

Spot on bobbycharlie. Too many ostriches on here burying their head in the sand and just looking short term.
“glazers are good as long as we keep winning things”
In 2014 Aon plans to transition into a second phase of its relationship with Manchester United by becoming the title sponsor of both Manchester United’s Business Network and the Manchester United Foundation.
Aon continues to be the Manchester United Primary Shirt Sponsor for two more seasons.Aon’s primary reason for its original shirt partnership was to unite its over 60,000 colleagues world-wide, across 120 countries. I’ve never seen any comments saying the Glazers are good for the club noticed some saying that over and over again not sure who its directed at
Don’t remember reading one comment in the 5yrs I’ve been coming on here that the Glazers are good for the club just another line of attack that’s total bollocks, what a surprise
Why do the anti Glazers have to consistently make up shit
Well get yourself some glasses then wayne and actually read the threads because it was said. Stop being in denial, and calling my posts bollocks when they aren’t.
I get along with you but your views on the glazers are apathetic.
You don’t give a fuck about the match going fan and have said so in a round about way, if we don’t like it go somewhere else, Thats what you said.
When you’ve spent thousands of £££££’s following United and the cost of watching them rises unjustifiably you get annoyed.
Over and over again, I had to read we’ve been succesful under the glazers from the glazer lovers. We were succesful before them.
Whats the point? You’re just going to call everything you don’t agree with bollocks like you always do.
Well said bobbyCharlie,
Summing up quite a few peoples sentiments very well
@bobbycharlie1968
Mucho respect for a blinding post. Too many reds looking short term, long term these leeches could leave our club severely damaged. Their other “interests” are in the shit and they’re using Utd to keep their sinking ship afloat. When SAF goes, and that could be soon, the proverbial is really going to hit the fan. We need these bastards out NOW!
Wayne Says
Utd are not in trouble and the anti Glazer movement dragging Sir Alex’s name through the mud and attacking him because the movement can’t get anywhere with the Glazers is fucking disgusting
It’s that Glazers that are in trouble ffs, and United is their fucking cash cow, milking this club dry with Gill (and Ferguson) has played a part in it.
NRD what the fuck are you going on about,I’ve never once said I don’t give a fuck about the match going fan.I responded to one of your comments several weeks ago were you called everyone who doesn’t go to games a cunt and their views irrelevant. You bang on about ticket prices all the time, separate yourself as a elite fan as if you want a pat on the back for going. What I said is stop your whining everyone has a choice to buy a ticket or not
I challenge you right now to find one comment that says the Glazers are good for the club, saying Utd have been successful under the Glazers is the truth completely different to saying Glazers are good for the club
I’m not apathetic just realistic.not under any illusion that some billionaire Utd fan is going to ride in on a Red horse and do everything that’s right.Must backed the Red Knights who would have taken on debt of 500mill please explain to me what’s the difference?
When you cut through all the bullshit although I hate the Glazers for lying about applying all the share profits to the debt even if its a 100mill still gets rid of 25 percent of what’s owed so how can that be a gloom and doom scenario.
Don’t write bollocks and I won’t call bollocks
To add the Tampa Bay Bucaneers are shit, the glazers shopping malls are losing money. If we decline which is possible after our limp dick CL performances the whole structure can collapse. Like people have been saying we’re the only business thats making them money but even then a lot of its wasted on interest payments.
Before saying we ain’t in trouble who here thought we would go out in the CL group. Nobody, not a single fucking soul but it happened. Anything can happen, just because we’ve been top dogs for 2 decades doesn’t mean that will last forever.
When you have huge debt should always be prepared for the worst and I don’t think our fans or owners are.

Wayne Wayne Wayne, it wont be 100m, it will as likely be 74m this is noted in the IPO, it will not reduce the debt one iota, as the bonds can only be repaid in 2017 at the full amount, all this cash will do is reduce the 40m per annum interest that’s servicing the debt ie 5 years of interest = 20m (doesn’t include any further management charges) so at best it lessens that yearly charge by 14m a year, the amount 400m debt STAYS, IT DOESN’T DECREASE.
Lets not forget it’s pretty clear the Glazers borrowed to pay the PIKs, I wonder how they’re going to raise the cash to pay that down….oh.
Matt you keep banging on about the Glazers being in trouble obviously you have information on all their financial information mind sharing that with me,thanks also ask you the same as NRD MUST backed Red Knights who would’ve needed a 500mill loan what’s the difference and any money paid off the debt is a positive move
@ wayne -All these quotes from Glazers’ Disgraceful IPO U-Turn Thread.
“.bottom line is they have my full support because they are our owners and great buisnesss men which is good for the club.”
“Actually, for Sir Alex, the Glazers probably are very good owners. ”
” Not surprisingly good businessmen like the Glazers have their noses in that trough and will be reaping the benefits whilst the economy bounces back.”
“I think that when all is said and done, that the Glazers have been quite good owners. ”
Quote from Red Issue’s Open Letter To Sir Alex
“The Glazers are doing a good job and dont interfer with the football sides of things, there is money to spend.”
There’s been more that don’t use the word good.
As for being an elite fan – perhaps I do have a chip on my shoulder on that. All I know is that when I’m at OT I’m singing, making noise getting behind my team unlike the thousands, yes thousands (no exaggeration) who just sit there all quiet. In fact if I get tickets to Wigan I’ll record some footage to prove my point on how bad it is inside the ground.
Then what pisses me off is when some people sit on here having a right go at the atmosphere inside OT and when I complain about the cost of going come down on me like a ton of bricks whilst simutaneously praising the glazers.
Wouldn’t that piss you off?
The working class fella can’t afford to go anymore, especially if he’s responsible and wants to start saving towards a house and settling down. It can’t be done. Rasing prices I can understand but every year since they have been here the prices have gone up. If not on paper value they’ve increased the booking fee which isn’t published on the site. Lowest price is £30 which is horseshit as these are all owned by season ticket holders and also the disabled sections are in these parts of the ground (rightfully so).
I’ve had to sit on my own inside OT because couldn’t get 2 tickets side by side, you can’t even have a chat with some of the United fans inside the ground. Look at you like you’re a piece of shit and what you’re doing.
I’ve been told to stop making so much noise inside OT! What the fuck? It’s a football match.
And all these things have been happening more and more frequently since our “wonderful” owners came in.
A shit atmosphere inside the ground reflects on the team. Fergie (and rightfully so) had a pop at the fans about atmosphere after a New Years Day Game in 2008 where we played Birmingham. Saying it does effect the team.
Finally I haven’t backed the Red Knights at any point. I’ve said time and time again the plc onwership was better despite what others think. If the glazers are going to be offering shares they should have equal voting power. read somewhere they are changing the clubs constitution so there can be no hostile takeover from them. Looks like the family will be bleeding the club dry till I retire!
But wayne no money will be paid off the debt, if you want evidence of the Glazers financial position, just look at the US business press, NY Times is a good start.
And aren’t you making an assumption that the Red Knights would have had to borrow to the extent of the Glazers?
Not that I gave a fuck about them as I could see it was doomed to failure, however the real point you’re missing is the Glazers bought our club as nothing more than a cash cow, that much if anything is clear, if you can’t see that there is no hope.
At least the Red Knights motivation was buy the club in the interest of the club, so lets extend that argument, some other party borrows 500m to buy the club, then it uses the business interests of that club to pay down that debt over a sustainable period of time (witness LFC to see how it can be done) not leach money from the club by issuing shares with no voting rights and then change that share sale with 50% of the proceeds going to the family, are you keeping up? On top of that it’s as likely the manager will be getting a nice slice of the pie, oh yes the Glazers are just the same as the Red Knights.
I keep posting relevant financial info, you either ignore it or cant understand either way, it’s time to go and look for yourself, it’s out there, 1st stop google for you.
NRD I had to start work already running a hour behind because of ROM but ticket prices and the working class getting priced out is fuck all to do with the Glazers, that’s happening in all top sports
Matt its a fact Red Knights needed a loan and its a fact their plan was to break the club so they could buy Utd cheap,MUST backed them because they were promised a position of importance so save the bullshit
Wakey knows a lot about all the Glazer businesses and seems to think Glazers are overall in good shape. From a lay mans point of view owning any NFL team is worth 100′s of millions apart from Utd and owning real estate, last time I checked were on the forbes richest in the world list so don’t understand how they can be in trouble
I have work to do so cannot respond to any further comments till later
OK SO HOW DO WE KILL THESE GLAZER FOLK?
Wayne >>>>>>Matt its a fact Red Knights needed a loan and its a fact their plan was to break the club so they could buy Utd cheap,MUST backed them because they were promised a position of importance so save the bullshit
Link it up pal, dead easy as for the Glazers empire go and do some fucking research of your own.
Newton Heath Red says:
OK SO HOW DO WE KILL THESE GLAZER FOLK?
They could probably survive a nuclear strike, at least that’s the legend with cockroaches!
Bobbycharlie1968! U must hold a speech at my weeding…fuck that, be my best man mate….fuck that…marry me!
The Red knights coming out now screaming, is total crap! why did they shelve their ambition?? “because United winning things!” Now coming out to drag gaffers name through the mud is unacceptable! The man has worked in very difficult condition!! “I’ve seen a link, which they are accusing the rest of United fraternity, for not giving them support. We don’t need this finger pointing circus, especially now the league is about start! Am not supporting Glazers, infact! “fuck them!” But our only hope is to let them list, and hope it flops miserably
Matt I’m not the one harping on about the Glazers having financial problems I also trust Wakey to tell the truth doesn’t have an agenda as far as I can tell. apart from that between Tampa Bay and Utd have over 3bill in assets so really how broke can they be
Back at you pal google Red Knights haven’t read one article that didn’t involve going into debt
bobbycharlie1968
agree….the way they running the bussines is worst possible way. They are takeing all money, just paying interest, so if anything goes wrong, bank will take club and they already took the profit…they running this club, like they dont care, like they dont believe….
Was on the original thread, wondering where veryone’s gone :}
Its like onstage at a greek tragedy in here! Lets all calm down a bit and see how our summer spending goes, eh?
Boycotted games a few years ago and only attend away games now (if I’m lucky enough the get a ticket from family members who have season tickets). To be honest, people like me will have made no difference whatsoever, as that seat can get sold out 10 times over. However, financially, it wasn’t possible to keep going and a harsh reality is the atmosphere can be shocking.
I was lucky enough to be at OT during the 2008 Champions League games…seems like a different place now hard to get atmosphere like that for Prem games
Away days -> All else.
So l suppose respected journalist Jim White is also cunt.
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/jim-white/fergie-backed-wrong-horse-glazer-affair-180515477.html
Bloody hell Rai. Long time no see, hope you’re well. Looks like I may be in the same boat as you next season no family members with season tickets but contacts at all the London clubs, may see you there at some point.
Take care buddy.
I think that, none of us actually know what is going on behind closed doors and i doubt most of these experts do. I just think that if we are to buy moura and RVP for example than it shows we are willing to buy players right? if we don’t than it may come down to something else. The thing is we will NEVER know what goes on until somebody within united come out and do a warts and all about it. Support the players, be entertained and just hold tight. United will find a buyer no question if worst came to the worst. The glazers obviously being businessmen would have took a buy out if we were as fucked as the media make us out to be
I think bobby’s first comment hits the nail on the head absolutely bang on – football is governed by money, to be successful on the pitch we need to not be riddled with debt, and the less successful we become the less attractive the club will be to players we want to sign..its a vicious downhill spiral that is so hard to get out of (see Liverpool at the moment…unable to sign real top class talents so resorting to players from mid-table clubs, which then means they can’t compete at the top level. And then compare it to our situation having signed Ashley Young last year, who is a good player but I don’t feel is United quality, and rumours of our interest in Baines and Dembele etc). A few years ago we’d have had no trouble in sticking an extra £5m on the end of a deal to get a promising youngster like Lucas or a talent like van Persie, but now we’re scrimping and saving and avoiding giving contracts to our promising youths – Pogba, Morrison, Fryers – purely because they want a few extra grand per week. Its bullshit!! And all the while the Glazers are sucking more and more cash out of our club.
Surely, from a completely business-related perspective (which is the only way they view the club), they must realise that to maintain or increase the value of their asset they need to maintain the quality of players on the pitch. I don’t know how much input Fergie actually has in determining ‘value’ in the transfer market (I’m sure his hands are completely tied behind his back by the Glazers) but if we’re not willing to spend in excess of £20m on anyone or really push the boat out for that special talent (which RvP and Lucas can both def be considered) then our on-field performance is guaranteed to suffer. ‘Value’ is a bullshit piece of terminology if it doesn’t allow us to compete…buying a £15m player instead of a £25-30m player has absolutely no value whatsoever if it means we can’t challenge for titles and trophies. If we buy two players for £60m and win the league we’d actually come out in a fairly similar financial position to a situation where we bought two cheaper players for £30-40m and didn’t win the league. And definitely in the long run continued success is vital to global popularity, the opportunity to sign big deals with companies like GM/Chrysler etc. If we start to become a mediocre team then our popularity, media exposure etc will decrease and big brand companies won’t want to be connected to us. Surely the Glazers (who clearly only give a shit about increased profits and lining their own pockets) must be able to recognise this?
