I’d imagine AndersRed apology to Sir Alex would be like father Jack’s apology to bishop Brennan.
LMAO Willie!
Accusation without facts is otherwise called libel, no? Wish all others who have sued for libel before would just take an apology and move on and not seek damages etc. Being able to read in detail and understand a filing application doesn’t mean one knows everything within the club. All the IFs and MAYBEs and PERHAPs, can be argued over until Rooney retires and still no one can say for sure.
On Anderson… it might really be his last chance, if at all. Carrick, Kagawa and Cleverley are likely to be the first teamers rotating. Powell is likely to be a year or two away. And there’s also Tunnicliffe and Petrucci and the recently impressive Lingard all about to break through as well. If he doesn’t impress and claim a spot in SAF’s plans… it’s probably byebye for him. Fingers crossed he would show us all what he is really capable, in a decent run of games if he’s given the chance.
Olympic update,Romania have taken the Gold,Silver,Bronze,Copper,Lead and Steel from the Olympic Stadium.
@parryheid
Nice one. Haha
anderson has spoken enough, time to start producing. He has had five years now, no one can complain he hasn’t been given enough time. Hopefully he avoids injuries and accumulates games. His form has to evident, he has to start getting more consistent because at 24, you expect him to be more dominant in midfield. Fact remains though, younger players like petrucci, tunni, powell, lingard, larnell cole are capable of fighting for regular places. The exuberrance of youth means you’re fearless on the grand stage, these youngsters won’t be fazed and they possess temperament to take their opportunities. Anderson, time to start ordering more salads and ditch being a burger-queen, time to step up because players are ready to dump you out of the club.
Parry
Pissing my self
I’m actually really interested to know as much as I can about United’s business dealing with relation to the IPO, Glazers, ect..
But when I get about 1/4 of the way down that Andersred blog, I just want to blow my brains out.
Kind of like when you cry halfway through a wank. You guys know what I’m talking about?
ROberto Carlos – some player…
Vodka
Never cried during a wank to be honest mate……..You must be like Nani, i.e. soft as fuck
Cedars
Whew. I was worried I might be the only one. Never cried during a wank. Never will.
^Cedars
oooohh. Cold as ice!
One of my most poignant Nani memories: when Carragher(cunt) hit Nani with a filthy spikes up tackle. Nani gets right up, and actually walks over to show the ref the damage, before falling over, crying, and being stretchered off the field.
It wasn’t funny at the time, mind you. I was throwing empty pint glasses at the TV screen. But now? Kind of funny, I guess.
Btw, I think Nani is class. I hope he stays. And, at times, has the potential to be the best United attacker on the field.
@parryheid
Hahahaha yeh good one.
Wait, didn’t we all call Suarez a cunt for being racist?
*hypocrisyometer goes into overdrive*
Vodka
I agree, that tackle was shameful, Garacunt should have seen red no doubt, but the way Nani fell back down and started crying is even more shameful
Just to clarify for some of the cretins in here, Andy Green never once directly said that Fergie was taking an IPO windfall. He merely speculated that it was a possibility, which anyone who actually read the wording of the fucking prospectus would know was very much the case.
“Time for Manchester United’s Anderson to stake a serious claim”
I’ve heard words to that effect every summer for the last three years.
@Kanchelskis
Re: Anderson
Exactly. But this time, we really, really, really mean it.
Kanchelskis – the longer anderson remains at the club, some form of hopeful positivity will be thrown his away.
Some need to start moving away from the dinosaur age in which you can badly damage a player and be called a ‘hard man’. It’s called cowardly act in my view. What that cunt carragher was appalling, if he had ruined nani’s career, people wouldn’t be finding it laughable. Too many thugs in the premier league, they get applauded for clattering into an opponent than praised for their skill. Probably part of the reason why Ronaldo left united and english football, nani gradually looks like he might end up at madrid but hey, the winger that can “Track back” in young will be a wonderful replacement, we can have workman like donkeys running around offering fuck all going forward.
Off topic: Anyone watching Federer vs Del Potro? Fedex on the brink of defeat!
Actually, 3rd set tied at 12 each!
On topic:
We do what we want
We do what we want
We’re Man United
We do what we want!
Sam
Get a grip mate……Footballers are top athletes, George Best used to ride tackles that would end a player’s career…….Ever seen him cry? Robbo and Keano suffered more injuries that can ever be listed….Ever seen them cry? I could go on of course
Nani is a pussy
Goalkeeper debate:
I’m siding with De Gea. He always had more potential and I think he is shaping into a fine GK already! Think he’ll do wonders this season!
I’m thrilled to see Lindegaard sign a new contract. Was worried that he might get itchy feet considering the exceptional form of DDG in the latter half of last season.
@Cedars
1. How much faster can players – esp the likes of Nani – run now?
2. How much thinner / weaker are the current football boots?
3. When they went in hard for tackles ‘back in the day’, they were invariably one-footed, not the cowardly two-footed shit you see now
There’s being tough, which is necessary and commendable.
Then there’s committing assault which is not. How would you behave after getting a stud to the shin that ends up chipping the bone? My money’s on not very different from Nani.
Don’t give a fuck Andy Green has a massive following so shouldn’t be making assumptions,should’ve waited till the facts were out and he knows it otherwise wouldn’t be apologizing.To many people were quick to jump all over Sir Alex and as i’ve already stated was fucking disqusting.So Andy Green can go fuck himself as far as i’m concerned and that doesn’t mean i’m a Glazer lover want them gone as well,still makes Andy Green a cunt
@wayne
The facts – such as they stood – WERE OUT. The wording of the IPO prospectus left the possibility of a Fergie windfall a distinctly open one. If they didn’t want people sniffing around like that, they should’ve worded their document better. There were no accusations, no assumptions, merely a query.
Rumor mill: Alex Song to Barcelona?
This actually isn’t funny anymore. I’m actually starting to feel actual sorrow for Arsenal fans. Really. And wtf does Barca want with a shit bag like Alex Song?
kanchelskis then why the apology
kanchelskis
Best would out run Nani after having 10 pints and 5 martinis……..Do not get your point to be honest
@CedarsDevil
Absolute bollocks. Best looked fast on a pitch surrounded by other footballers from the same era. They were all borderline pissheads and there was barely such a thing as fitness or speed training in those days. Nani would tear strips off him.
My point about speed is that when you’re travelling at the speed Nani does (and Best didn’t ), then someone going in hard on you is going to do even more damage.
Barcelona adding another string to their bow…..
@wayne
Because the only way clarity could be achieved was by making inflammatory suggestions. Fergie got offended at the suggestion, but it was the only way we – the fans – you know, the ones who are SUPPOSED to ultimately benefit from money that comes into the club – could get any sort of answer.
Cedars – looking at nani and how physically built he is, the last thing i would call him is a “Pussy”. He complained about a talentless hatchet-man trying to ruin his career with a horrendous challenge and you call him weak, i can’t understand that. With a mentality like that, donkeys like kevin davies will be flying the flag for the premier league. We’ll see less skill/technique and more thugs. If a challenge is hard but fair then i have no problem with it but if your sole intention is to hack down someone more talented, then something has to be done. Jump out of the pre historic age in which ‘chopper’ harris is marveled at instead of being mocked for being a clueless cunt with the ball.
fucking lol
Barcelona wants Song – adding another string to their bow – lol – you mean next year they will go after Rosicky or Arshavin.
Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets being replaced by Song, Fabregas Arshavin what a load of arse
kanchelskis
Now you are the one talking bollocks mate…….You know I like you though!
Best was surrounded by pissheads? Ha ha ha What a dumb fuck statement
@CedarsDevil
I said borderline pissheads. And I mean relative to today’s players. Seriously, the physical condition of players now and players in the 60s/70s doesn’t bare comparison. Speed, strength, agility, stamina levels are all much, much higher than in those days.
samuel, bit harsh there on Young. He has scored a few nice goals for us, and it was only his first season. Hopefully he won’t have the second season syndrome since he’s already been in the EPL for so long.
Andy looks a little Green around the gills!
kanchelskis seem to be putting spin on it to me first you said Andy Green was only making a query now you’re saying he had to make inflammatory suggestions to get to the truth,not being consistent or making sense mate
George Best was quick,two footed and had the best balance i’ve ever seen so you must be having a laugh. If he’d played for a bigger country would have been voted the best player ever,so to just brush him off as playing against borderline pissheads is a out and out insult to his genius
To be honest people like Ron “Chopper” Harris were legends of the 70s. Chopper says it all really loads of skill there. England were shit in the 70s because the success of 66 got to their head and they all started being celebrities.
It’s before my time but thats how I see it.
Since we’re slagging off United players today Nani may be a pussy but he’s a nice guy, contrast that to Cleverly who’s a rude arrogant fuck from what I found out yesterday. Fame has gone to that young mans head.
kanchelskis
Stop being daft mate
@wayne
So I’m the one twisting things while you say that I’m “insulting the genius” of George Best? I was talking purely about physicial condition. There is no way you’re telling me that comparing physical attributes of players from the 60s/70s and 00s/10s is a comparison that takes place on a level playing field?
I said there were no accusations or assumptions. A query can be inflammatory without being either of the above.
NRD:
What’s up with Clev?
@CedarsDevil
If that’s your last line of ‘reasoning’ I think it speaks for itself.
Best was obviously brilliant but since his days as a footballer, the game has progressed. More speed, more power, better fitness e.t.c. If george best had the opportunity to complain to refs when he gets cynically chopped down, he would. In fact, more skillful players were not protected, most preferred lunging career damaging tackles, they make heros out of thugs. Time has moved on.
Oh man, did you guys see Luther Cary smash the 100m world record in 1891. He owned that shit. 10.8 seconds!!
I’d love to see him race today’s sprinters. He’d rinse ALL of them. After all, it was a world record!!!!1

Cedars and wayne
@Scott – The Android RoM App is brilliant mate but have one huge flaw, can’t read or post comments which is a shame really as this blog loses have of it’s greatness without it.
Best ‘was obviously brilliant’ ???? Ha ha ha
kanchelskis
Still like you mate, never intended to go into an argument with you…….However your argument was a tad pathetic
Friend of mine went to Ibiza a few weeks ago whilst Cleverly was out there.
He’s a fan of football and England and not a club as such and doesn’t have an ABU agenda before people jump on the bandwagon.
You know how its on holiday you get talking to people at bars and shit and vice versa, he was chatting to this lad and asked him who he’s out there with.
This lad then tells him a few friends including Cleverly and then friend of Cleverly says
“I’ll call him over.”
Mate wasn’t star struck and was telling him he doesn’t have to do that but mate of Cleverly insisisted. Calls Tom over
Tom proceeds to look at my mate up and down in disgust and then says
“I ain’t talking to no fucking nobodies” and then walks off.
Classy.
If my mate had made a fuss about it then fair enough, but it was Tom’s mate that called him over over, no need to do that and everything Scott posted about him a few weeks ago, (and I stuck up for TC23) turns out to be true.
Then people wonder why there’s this hatred for footballers.
In my opinion thats disgusting and deplorable and I expect better from United players, contrast that with Nani who did something he wasn’t supposed to (in a good way as I don’t want him to get into trouble) when a young kid lost his autograph book.
George Best would score 50 goals a year into todays game,you’re not taking into account shitty picthes,shitty balls and very little protection from refs which evens out the ‘fitness angle’ which can’t be proven,much tougher game back then. Most of todays ‘superstars’ wouldn’t have survived back then don’t give a fuck what era Best showed up would have dominated to compare Best and Nani is fucking ridiculous
Not buying the Andy Green bollocks either don’t apologize to someone unless in the wrong even STR is calling it assumptions
@kanchelskis — It is also entirely possible that the Glazers could have given Alex Ferguson a multi-million bonus at absolutely any time, ever, since they took over the club. The only reason the IPO came into focus is because Fergie dared to, once again, back the Glazers and deny that he has been lying about his ability to sign new players. Saying nothing wrong was done because it was a “possibility” is not good enough, and don’t forget, Andersred put out an apology, which means he felt compelled to, for a reason!
It would be nice if we can just leave it behind anyway. Noticed that MUST are now advocating a boycott of sponsor products. Again, it won’t work. In fact, let’s hope it doesn’t. Starve the beast is a dangerous philosophy.
To be fair, ‘obviously’ is a word i find hard to extract anything funny out of.
Yor yor – i’m not degrading young and not my intention to make it seem so. He’s a very good winger, i acknowledge he’ll make an impact this season but let’s be honest, it’s pure naivety to assume he’s close to nani ability-wise.
Last post was for Pint Glass of Vodka.
Just finished reading the Anderson link – Haven’t we read this 4 times a season for the last 4 years? Then all the comments say time for him to step up, which he inevitably never does, if he don’t do it this year time to cut him loose.
NRD:
Ugh. Wish I hadn’t read that. Sounds like he deserved a bitchslap.
Are we even debating how good George Best was? Greatest footballer that ever lived
@wayne
Again, completely twisting my words. I am not, out-and-out, comparing Best and Nani.
My initial point what only ever about physical fitness, speed, stamina etc. Physical attributes only.
Nani is in better physical condition than Best ever was or could ever hope to be.
Tell me I’m wrong.
NRD – I don’t know what happened and can’t lambast cleverly nor commend him but i agree that if he possesses a mentality like that, which gives an impression that he has definitely made it then he’s more foolish than i thought. He’s no where near the finished article or even nailing down a first team place at united, he has a lot to prove as he only showed glimpses of what he’s capable of. “Big time charlie” mentality is not the best way to kick your career on.
kanchelskis that’s impossible to compare Nani isn’t super fast like Ronnie beats players with trickery and skill but not in Best’s league anyway been fun but have to go to work
@samuel – I’m with you on this one in regards to Nani, although inconsistent at times (didn’t think he was that inconsistent last season and certainly not as bad as some people make out) he’s hands down our best winger at the club.
I’ve always been a Young supporter, but his tracking back has only recently started at United, wasn’t doing that much of it at Villa.
Tony V is awesome, but he becomes somewhat inefficient at times with his outright refusal to use his left foot in the easiest of situations. Not sure if it’s to do with the injury he suffered vs Rangers which is why I give him the benefit of the doubt. However he can use it and one of Rooney’s goals vs Bobby Moore FC in the What Fucking What game came from a left foot cross. So I don’t have a clue why he doesn’t use it more.
Kanchelskis is merely comparing nani’s physical state and that of best. ability-wise, the irish man has accomplished more than nani probably ever will but physically, players nowadays are far more athletic and stronger. Understandable because in those days, professionalism wasn’t the in forefront of football but no one is comparing nani with best.
@ Pint Glass of Vodka @ smauel – Do you honestly think I took pleasure in typing that, mate thought at best he may get a snap of TC23 to wind me up with. Said it once and I’ll say it again,
“Once Giggsy, Scholes and Rio retire do not give a fuck about any of the players, I just care about the shirt, if they stay and perform well fantastic I’ll chant your name, don’t even have to perform well and I’ll still chant your name. When they want to leave, for whatever reason they can fuck off, we’ll cope, players always have and always will be replaced at Manchester United when their time is up. No emotions from me towards them anymore barring the 3 I mentioned”
Hmm. Interesting choice Rio with Scholes and Giggs. Don’t think every United fan would put Rio in with those two legends.
NRD – He only seemed inconsistent because he’s always trying something magical. It comes off and we benefit from it, when it doesn’t, he should be encouraged. It’s easy to do the basics by just whipping in crosses but more difficult to continuously suprise defenders and win a match. I’m not sure why he hasn’t signed a new deal yet.
Regarding valencia, his rigidity and lack of adaptability means we can’t be as fluid and unpredictable going forward as we can be. will never know why a professional player can’t utilise his left foot effectively, i wonder if he’s reluctant to improve it as clearly, he seems effective by bombing down the right. I wonder if he could play on the left wing and cut in? doubt it.
As for Clevs? Doesn’t sound too clever from him(excuse the pun)

Compare and contrast.
@WRN (Please drop 50 Shades of Grey) Always been a fan of Rio even at Bobby Moore FC, my personal choice the stuff he does off the pitch is commendable and doesn’t get enough credit IMO. Very approachable as well and he’s real if you know what i mean. I could go on all day but the fact is one my favourite players of all time and while I was still playing football on a regular basis, out of all the defenders I watched I learnt more off him than by watching any other defender.
NRD – I’m not suprised with players these days, we should just enjoy what they offer on the pitch and not have too much attachment but slightly shocked with cleverly, a player that claims he learns from scholes and Giggs should be an epitome of humility. FERGIE watches the temperament and mentality of youngsters, we have got rid of the likes of pogba and morrison who feel they are bigger than their boots, kept those willing to learn and follow the club’s philosophy. Out of all negatives, some positives can be found.
@Samuel – Totally agree too many idiots (mainly the non-singing ones) groan when it doesn’t come off and you’re right he should be encouraged.
Probably get lambasted now but Tony V is quite easy to stop if you have a disciplined team, he was anonymous vs Barca in the final but they just stuck two on him, one to jockey him into moving it to his left foot and the other one to nick it. Fortunately he has electric pace and immense strength so he does really well against most the teams, and also most teams don’t have the discipline or class as Barca.
Anyway we’ve been blessed with 3 top wingers, and the headache selection is Fergie’s. There’s no need for one of them to be sold, nor is there for one of them to be automatic first choice. In theory the problem with that is Tony V is only battling for one postion whilst Young and Nani are battling for two.
@Kancheslskis
Stop making excuses for him. All he ever does is take a smallest little thing and then weaves a story around it which bears very little basis in reality. And people buy it hook line and sinker. This should be the fans wake up call to stop taking his word as gospel so don’t even dare start making excuses for up him.
This is a chance for the fan base to start being better informed and evaluating all the information rather than take other peoples opinions as fact
@ Samuel – Thing is with the internet and it probably isn’t 100% TC23′s fault, is that we as fans love talking about players and as United fans we always like to look to the future and say good things (which can be true most the time) about them.
Go back 12 months and read the stuff on here for example about Morrison, Pogba and TC23. All great things. If we use Pogba as an example.
Whats stopping Pogbas’ Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Best Friend, Great Uncle Joe with the glass eye typing in Pogab into the internet and finding out all the things said about him. If they did it 12 months ago we’ve hyped him to the moon. He may not read it, but believe you me the good things said about him may be reported back to him, even if he doesn’t want to listen to it.
I have no problems with TC23′s ability as a footballer, he showed us what he can do (albeit in 6 games) and he’s got better and better as the games has gone on at the Olympics. But even before he made his debut, people who hadn’t seen him play were hailing him as the panacea to our midfield problems for a year in advance.
He’s got to have known that at some point, we’ve all had it from our other halves when they say
“So and so said something good/bad about you”
In the average person’s life its only hear say, but as a pro footballer there’s loads of stuff on net written about you which is hard evidence. Thats going to play a huge part in any young mans ego.
I think thats why Pogba fucked off, he believed his own hype. Not from Fergie but the net. There used to be a time where by supporting young players they went onto becoming great players for the club, or decent enough anyway. Now the young players use it to increase their basic wages (See. Morrison, Fryers and Pogba) or start a new clothing line because a few nice comments are written about them online.
NRD – As you will know I’m a big fan of his name is Rio! When he’s fit and on form, he’s the best CH in Europe. I read a post on here saying, Rio plays the gangster off the pitch. Utter rubbish. The guy does his bit for the community. Yeah, he’s been a rascal in his younger years, but who hasn’t ffs! Hoping he has a few more seasons left in him. Then Biggie Smalling can step into his shoes….
ps It’s 50 shades of WillieRedNut! Nothing Grey about me….
@ WRN – Spot on mate. The rascal thing about him I Iove because its real and we’ve all done it, thing is he learns and doesn’t make that specific mistake again. He could of easily moved to a London club after leaving Bobby Moore FC but chose to go leads because he knew he wouldn’t get distracted as much.
As for the drugs test thing, I’ve got a document (think it was an athletics body) from when I was studying at uni stating how many missed/cancelled/delayed drug tests there were up and down the country with no reprimand. It ran into hundreds over 5 years I believe,
Which is why the whole banning of Rio was a joke and simply an excuse to make an example out of him, like they did by leaving him out of an England squad for drink driving, losing the Captaincy without even a phone call from the gaffer, they did again this year with Anton-Terry saga. Someone somewhere up in FA la-la-land has an agenda vs Rio and they’ve thrown so much shit at him that its stuck.
Not even all the United fans see through it. I always stand up for players/people who are unjustifiably hated/bullied. Can’t stand it.
Wakey says:
@Kancheslskis
Stop making excuses for him. All he ever does is take a smallest little thing and then weaves a story around it which bears very little basis in reality.

Rather like every single one of your bullshit posts
MO said that he is ready to sell Sahin if he wants to leave and that he will not play often…if we dont buy Sahin, we are stupid…and then we can miss Moura even if Sahin dont play his position…i would rather buy Sahin then MOura…but if we can buy both, then great
I always find Wakeys is the most reasonable posters here, far away from bullshit like mattbw7 ones…
Getting more and more concerned as each day goes by with United transfer activity.If United was in any way serious about signing RVP or Moura we would be hearing things. The cat is out of the bag with Fergie confirming interest in the players and making offers. RVP look set for Italy and More and more interest is rumoured for Moura and even City might sneek in there. All this Glazer business has left a sour taste in our mouths and United as a club need to turn there attention away from it. The only way this can happen is if united sign up the 2 big names mentioned and get us excited for the new season.
Nani days are numbered. It could be Anderson’s too. But Lindergaard is the real deal.
This speculation about Fergie’s possible profit from IPO is really bad personal attacking from fan. It feel like political movement in my eye. Fergie never forget the question related with his integrity. Fergie hate Rafa not because he is former Liverpool manager but because he accuse Fergie as if Fergie con the referee and FA give favor to him which is question about his integrity for football game.
I feel sick about that. He will not last forever, I hope Fergie retire soon.
Cannot believe people are actually questioning the fitness and the athleticism of todays athletes. There was wayy less professionalism in football back in the 70′s and 80′s, mainly because it isn’t the high-money industry it has turned into today. Top teams pay top dollar for their players and they pay them that much so that they can plan out pretty much their lives for the length of the contract. Diets, routines, fitness schedules and so on and so forth, not even half of these rules were implied before football exploded as a major sport in the world.
Yes George Best is a legend, and his skill with regards to the players he had sharing a field with him was unparalleled but he was sharing that pitch with “borderline pissheads” as someone so accurately pointed. FFS players used to be smoking at half time or having a drink, HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN DO THAT TODAY? That fucktard mancini might be okay with his star ape smoking if rumors are to be believed but true pro’s barely drink, much less get pissed out of their heads.
Nani is wayy fitter than Best ever was. There’s no disrespect in admitting that, it’s just how the game has become. If Best was playing today I’m sure he’d have upped his fitness levels too. It’s not possible to carry on in the modern game if he wasn’t.
As for the fuckheads saying Nani’s days are numbered, to them I ask; WHAT THE FUCK FOR? Why the fuck should we sell a player to madrid whose inexperience and immaturity WE had to deal with in our play, to develop him the way we did, and mature his all-round game, just so we can package him off to Madrid so he can play the prime of his career there? How about you just add a nice little card and gift wrap his ass specially for Mourinho? EVEN if Nani was a Ronaldo (he’s not), you think we’ll get anywhere near the 80 mill Madrid paid for Ronnie? HA, with FFP a major headache for clubs already, and the strength in Madrid’s squad there’s not a chance in hell we’d get even half of that amount.
I can even live with people here hating on ex-players but to create a shit-storm on our current squad is just unacceptable. I think that’s what all the ABU’s have more than covered without you lot piling in.
Manuknighted
If Lindy is the real deal as you say, why the fuck did Fergie go and spend 18 million on De Gea? As much as I love Lindegaard and his quirks De Gea’s talent shines way brighter at such a young age. I feel bad for him as he has tonnes of potential but at 28 he’s got much less time at the prime of his career (yes i know keepers can play into their 40′s but not everyone is VDS), compare that to De Gea who at 21 should be given good runs of games because he can provide top quality service between the sticks for a much longer time.
Thankfully we have Fergie who himself is a master of rotation and he’ll manage to get them both on the field to keep their appetite’s and their development right.
Andersred you absolute numpty. The stupidity of some people is embarrassing. Dont get me wrong I appreciate the apology but my god. It typifies the kind of fans that I hate.
