First? Who cares.. Byebye Berba! Thanks for the Berbagasms

  2. philco says:

The best bit of seeing Owen in a Utd shirt was witnessing the turmoil the Dippers went through. Just for that I’ll always be grateful to wee mickey.

  3. UNITED4Life says:

    Damn! Dembele joins Spurs.

  4. ididnotzeeit says:

Had almost forgot Joe Cole still played football, let alone the fact Liverpool are still paying his way!!

  5. samuel - united WE stand says:

ididnotzeeit – Another gerrard’s classic = “[Lionel] Messi can do some amazing things, but anything he can do Joe can do as well, if not better. He used to shock us in training by doing footy tricks with a golf ball that most players can’t even do with a football. I really fancy Joe for the [player of the year] award this season.”

  6. invertedquestionmark says:

Glad to see Berbatov was allowed to leave… As much as I liked seeing him play for United, it’s a shame for a player of his quailty to stay on the bench (or sometimes not even make the bench). Fergie has different plans and we have enough young forwards that need more time on the pitch, so we’ll be fine in attack.

Fun fact: I had a dream last night in which Berbatov was making out with my dream-girlfriend… I woke up and was like, ‘Really, Berbatov? Why would you do this to me?’

  7. samuel - united WE stand says:

Another deluded pool fan who seems to be smoking the crack pipe his captain is on = “It’s not too far wrong
    imo. Messi’s overrated,
    and if Cole can stay
    injury free he’s just as
    good”.

  8. Costas says:

Wait and see on the Berba situation. He denied the speculation a few hours ago. Maybe Fiorentina isn’t his destination.

  9. samuel - united WE stand says:

“Footy tricks with a golf ball” qualifies cole as a better player than messi, a 3time world best player. Brilliant.

  10. nesh says:

Am really hoping Berba get the move to Fiorentina which is a decent club considering leaving us it s down hill unless of course you joining Barcelona or R. Madrid which we could say are almost same level. It would be absolutely bad for the lad to spend another season on the fringes not being even named on the Bench for a player of is talent. I thought wenger might pull a surprise and go for Berba, cant believe how blind people. Well that said if he really is moving on, wish you the best and thank you for the good times and winning us 2010-2011 championship.

  11. samuel - united WE stand says:

Costas – i know Berba didn’t quite fit into united’s style but always felt with his talents, he should be playing for intermilan or ac-milan, cannot believe They haven’t taken the gamble. Serie a is slower, he’ll fit in. I expect him to shine down there.

  12. Costas says:

    @Samuel

The Italian league is a fit for him. I’ve always believed that. Less physical and a slower tempo. I was glad to hear there was interest from those parts. But for whatever reason, it’s taken a long time for any real offers to come our way and none of them were from big 3. I know he will be a free agent in 12 months, but 5 million is still peanuts for a player like him. Plus, when someone’s 31, you don’t want to wait an extra year for him. Anyway, some twitter rumors (for whatever they are worth) say that the Fiorentina move might not happen because there’s interest from Juventus. Wouldn’t be a bad alternative for him.

  13. wayne says:

Good luck to Berba whatever happens
I hope this doesn’t turn into another Boo Hoo Hoo Utd missed out on Dembele thread ffs anyway driving all day so won’t have to read the piffle
The only club who thought Dembele was worth 15 mill was Spurs a tier two team who was desperate for coverage after Modric left
    Have a good day Reds

  14. WeAreUnited says:

If this gy played at this moment for another team like this, you would say LETS GET HIM

    remember that goal against Bolton?

    peace and show respect!

  15. Zibbie says:

Good for Berba, Sept 1st just around the corner.

SAF said he is done, I have noticed when he says that. He is done. No one else coming in.

I was hoping for Evans this weekend game?

  16. Zibbie says:

Wayne me as well, SAF had a great summer, sure the fuckhead hazzy looks good, but his head not the type for SAF then.

  17. samuel - united WE stand says:

Costas – despite Berba being in his 30′s, he’s never really one to rely on pace so he could play longer if the desire is still in him. Juventus are building a great team, i think he’d flourish with the likes of pirlo and co, good move for him if that’s true.

  18. Zibbie says:

Hey Sam, nice to see you and Cosats talking, I stuck my fat ass in there. Maybe should not have. I did though. My bad. Looks good today on RoM. discussion of the great love of our lives. Rafa is my man crush.
Costas is the Switzerland of RoM , lets me know when I get going the wrong way. Always nice, talks to almost everyone, look he talks to me. You have many good points and I always read your posts. Thanks for your contribution to RoM Sam.

  19. Zibbie says:

the 4-2-3-1 set up, even with Rooney out, the squad is there for that formation.
RVP an play 9,10 and lw
    Welbeck can play 9,10, L&RW
Kagawa 10, both wings, and a attacking 2 spot.
    Lil Pea last shoulder guy.
    Young 10, L&RW
    Nani 10, R&LW
    Tony V LW and 10
    Giggs 10, LW
    Powell 10 CDM
    Cleves 10 and L&RW

  20. parryheid says:

Some on here reckoned we have a first option on a former player we gave away, well we will soon see as according to his agent PSV,Ajax and a host of others are looking to sign Eikrem before the window closes and to think we didn’t even give him a minute playing time.

  21. Zibbie says:

Well a few days have passed since Wazza’a leg. I have learned about myself here.
    1st I love this club.
2nd, Wazza is my favorite player, he does not trump my love of club.( you think you know, but until it happens?)
3rd RVP can lead the club to glory.
4th Kagawa as good as I thought he was.
5th Rafa looks a man ready to rule the right side with who ever joins him.
6th Cleverly looks a young man, way good on his way to great!?!
    7th Danny signed !!!!
8th DDG what a reaction save dude. Some MMA training would help.
9th Jones, Evans, Smalling yet to play and show what they learned over the summer.
    10th the run for 20!

!!!!!!!! THIS COULD BE SAF LAST YEAR!???? I THINK THIS AND THE NEXT THEN RIDE INTO A MUFC RED SUNSET!!!

  22. Zibbie says:

PARRY THE ONES THAT WERE MISSED??? FORLORN LOVE!!!!

  23. Zibbie says:

    WOW
    What a team
    What a club
    What a gaffer

What a time to become a MUFC fan going on 9.5 years now. SAF was under fire, abu’s saying the game passed him by. Gunners on a perfect run. Roman Darth Invaded London and the PL. For 3 years no title my 1st 3 years a s a fan. I saw SAF rebuild the team. As he is doing now for the last time. At the same time stocking the lads for the next gaffer. Yeas the next one. A 25 year run, I see how some blur the reality of how great he is. The over the top expectations of some.
WAKE UP his last 2 years are here!!!! Enjoy the moment, do not be scared!!! The best gaffers in the world want to coach the great club.

  24. Zibbie says:

I saw an Interview with Burlasconi talking of FFP rules were the reason he sold to PSG, for this was the last of the big signings. If so Rooney should have, or would have gone this summer if he is to be gone. SAF when he leaves the next gaffer will decide Rooney’s MUFC fate IMO. SAF has dealt with Wazza having his head up his ass many times before. So in 3 days say 50-60 million fine, if not enjoy the scouser.

  25. Busby babes says:

    Zibbie

One things for sure m8 Sir Alex retiring will happen at some point and im dreading the day that happens, what that man has done here is astounding, dont beleive we’ll ever see such longertavity in the game again.

  26. Zibbie says:

Big time rating hikes in the US for football. ESPN now showing on main Chanel.
Fox Soccer redid themselves over, a better new look and BEIN TV took over GolTV of the Spanish league and a New more professional looks. Football on the rise over here.

  27. Zibbie says:

    Busby Babe.

Fucking amazing! I have said before. He is why I root for this team. I was a cynical US fan that saw free agents making you need a score card to see your team every year. To watching the national Irish side loving Roy Keane and the 2 were on the same team. I was a fan then for sure.
SAF sells, BECKS, ROY and RUUD!!! wow what a guy, a manager who is the boss. I was in man crush love.

  28. Zibbie says:

Busby, I saw Pep do a long interview on BEIN, he is Living in New York with what he say’s is a goal to learn better English with his child. ????? Does he have an American wife? Pep wants the MUFC job as Jose and all who love the game.

  29. FletchTHEMAN says:

So catch me up lads. I heard that United actually tabled a bid for Drembele but that Spurs offered more. Seems like that means the player and agent could have made it happen if they wanted. Is there any confirmation that United actually put in a bid? Cheers

  30. safichan says:

spurs got dembele only for 15million…and this is madness!!!

  31. Zibbie says:

    ??? No idea Fletch.

Football movement so wild, agents make money on a move, so fucked up. As well the parents 1st cousins, the guy who found them in the dust when he was 6. Here in the states, a % of contract for the agent, not 5 million of the 30. wow

  32. AlphaRS says:

    Berbatov is overated. Next…!

  33. Busby babes says:

    Zibbie

Not surprised at all jose and pep wanting to take the reigns of this great club, what is apparent is that who ever we’re to take the reigns will certainly have big shoes to fill. im sure is wife is spanish

  34. Zibbie says:

Thanks, nice. Big shoes. Like Shaq size 26 !!

  35. Zibbie says:

The team had all week to train together, Kagawa is so awesome. RVP to let them know how to feed him.
John is a key this week, can Evans play CB and let Mike play CMF???

  36. Marq says:

An overated player beating Rooney to the golden boot?

  37. Zibbie says:

wow Marq, trough me there. Build your man up with out tearing others down.
Berba thanks for all you did.

  38. Zibbie says:

Wow the Berba question, that is a new topic.

    Wazza’a gash

    RVP!!!

    Kagawa!!!!

    Rafa!!!

And what you post is hahaha LOL!!

  39. Zibbie says:

    LOL

    2 30+ goal seasons
    4 PL titles
    1 CL title
    185 goals
    hahahahaha

Now as per, SAF and the squad is the key. Rooney heal well. The 1st time.

RVP is all good to lead the club.

This gives Kagawa time to settle in the 10 spot.

    Dan can play

Lil Pea lives on the last shoulder!!!

  40. fergie is the boss says:

thee was just no place for berbatov in the side, kagwa and RVP signed, rooney plays there, then there is welbeck and hernandez. His future should have been sorted out in july, but glad its finally sorted, and berbatov can finally restart his career. I do feel bad for the guy, but coming to united did not really help his career

  41. Zibbie says:

Yes thanks Berba for all you did.
Score 30 and lead them to the CL!!!

  42. denton davey says:

Zibbie @ 16:18: “If so Rooney should have, or would have gone this summer if he is to be gone. SAF when he leaves the next gaffer will decide Rooney’s MUFC fate IMO.”

Despite the arrivals of KagawaBunga and RVP, I think that SAF still sees TheWayneBoy as his key player. The key word being “player” – he’s tremendously versatile and his compete-level is off the charts although it’s sometimes hindered by less-than-peak-fitness.

In fact, these two new arrivals might just mean that the long-discussed shift from forward-to-midfield (a la TheGingerNinja, ten years ago) is now on the horizon. Or else, SAF is serious about changing the “formation”.

About Dimmy – sublime skills but, nonetheless, a square-peg-in-a-round-hole at UTD. I’d imagine that he’d do well in a different system, with less scrutiny/pressure. Anyhow, his move away from OT will depend on the medical news concerning TheWayneBoy – if his injury is likely to mean a short time away from training/playing then Dimmy will probably be sent packing before August 31st BUT IF the injury is serious and the recovery is problematic then Dimmy provides great insurance.

  43. FletchTHEMAN says:

Berbatov to Juve?! Actually don’t like their dealings with us over a certain youngster.
But much better for the Dimitar. Might forgive him this… ;)

    http://www.football-italia.net/24447/juventus-hijack-berbatov-deal

  44. fergie is the boss says:

denton davey – well rooney totally denies the rumors, we do not know what the boss is thinking. I agree, I do feel Rooney will be here until he retires, I could be wrong. I have always said this, lets see how RVP does not only this season, but in the next few years. He aint someone in his midf 20′s, or 27, he is 29. So I do not see how it makes sense, to sell rooney in his prime, and rely a bit on RVP, who is injury prone, and is coming into his 30′s. Welbeck and hernandez are good, but no way could I see the boss selling rooney

  45. LoneStarRed says:

This Joe Cole dude. Should I know who he is? :)

  46. LoneStarRed says:

Sup Zibbie. You are in rare form today. Nailing it.

Happy Trails to Berba. I wish him much success in Italy! Offers were slow for him because teams knew we had to sell, buyer’s market ,thus the cut price. So be it. His Godfather impression is classic. His silky skills will always amaze.

Regarding Pep at the Helm. I MUCH prefer him to Murinho. So much less ego and a company man.

  47. AlphaRS says:

    @Marq
Berbatov scored a hat trick against Liverpool.
What else did he do? Did he ever score against a top club?! Lolz. He was good at scoring goals that meant feck all against shite teams. End of.

  48. DreadedRed says:

    AlphaRS

I’m glad you said “End of.”

That’s quite enough unnecessary slating of our players. End of indeed.

  49. AlphaRS says:

    @DreadedRed
It’s not slating. It’s the truth.

  50. DreadedRed says:

When you say “End of.” you really mean it.

  51. Marq says:

So how did a player who doesn’t score against a big clubs win Rooney a player who scores against everyone?

We wouldn’t have won No.19 without Berba’s goals, end off
