   I posted on the other thread a link to a really funny story from the game.
   City fanatic Liam Gallagher (a tad of a fanatic as bitters go) was kicked out of the Bernabeu for celebrating ‘over much’ on the bitters 1st goal.

   This wouldn’t be surpising to most reds, but we can all be gutted that he wasn’t around to see the Ronnies final goal.

    Im talking about Liverpool pal! I watched Madrid v CIty with a Scouse mate last night and after the match ITV advertised the game v Young Boys. My mate lost himself for a second and said he was looking forward to that game haha. I just laughed my fucking head off.

    Ah, OK gotcha.

    To be honest, I thought Liverpool had even missed out on Europa this season! Makes sense now.

    Means they’ll player closer to Sunday’s game which is good. Lack of depth up front probably means Suarez will put in a shift too. All good, all good.

    All clubs have vermin who follow their chosen club. I suppose as we have such a vast support, we attract more than most, such as ‘Parryheid’. I have just read what he said on the last post regarding ‘ never our fault. He STILL thinks Hillsborough was caused by LFC fans!!!! I am a Man Utd man through and through, still living 5 mins from the ground, who has missed a handful of games home and away, spanning 40 years. I despise ‘fans’ such as him. Wake up people, we need to rid the ground of sc*m who just love to hate. I love the rivalry with the scousers, yes it can be poisonous, but it doesn’t have to be. They have a rogue element, who doesn’t, but they need to be weeded out and trashed. Hostile atmospheres are fine, but not poisonous. i don’t care if the last line upsets the vermin who peddle their bile, but I am a socialist who stands up for the people, good for the famillies of the dead, god bless them YNWA.

    I had almost grown spoiled over the last few years of penning in mid week games in February and March. Seems now it’s been forever since United played in Europe (was never really enamored with UEFA Cup footy….and apparently, neither were our lads!)

    Although I certainly do not consider it a top priority, it is a joy as a fan and a priveledge as a club to be representing our country in the competition. Do us all proud tonight boys, 3 points to the good and let’s get this year’s campaign rocking and rolling!!
