@DreadedRed
Flippin ‘eck. Rodallega’s studs don’t fuck about, do they?
Without wanting to apportion blame in what was clearly a freak accident, has there been any line of inquiry into Rodallega’s footwear that day? Obviously must’ve been some sort of moulded blade to do that. A couple more incidents like this and I reckon they might be banned.
kanchelskis – flippin ‘eck indeed! He’s a tough blighter is our battle-scarred bruiser; and a class player to boot. Speaking of which, there was mention by the PFA of a re-evaluation of the dangers posed by currently allowable stud construction. It surely will be possible to eliminate the danger, but it’s not a frequent injury so I don’t expect any progress soon. The high-profile incident cannot now be ignored.
@DreadedRed
that scar is huge!
the boy was really lucky looking at that pic, could have so much worse for him!
and the video of gascoigne – damn what a waste of talent – could have been so much more if he had come to united

John Terry receives a four-match ban and a £220,000 fine following FA disciplinary hearing.

Rooney’s hopes of a later career as a pantyhose model have been well and truly scuppered.

FA Statement:
“An Independent Regulatory Commission has today [Thursday 27 September 2012] found a charge of misconduct against John Terry proven and has issued a suspension for a period of four matches and a fine of £220,000, pending appeal.
“The Football Association charged Mr Terry on Friday 27 July 2012 with using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Queens Park Rangers’ Anton Ferdinand and which included a reference to colour and/or race contrary to FA Rule E3[2] in relation to the Queens Park Rangers FC versus Chelsea FC fixture at Loftus Road on 23 October 2011.”
Talk about inconsistency from the FA, Suarez got 8 games ban and a 40k fine. Rio got a 45k fine for the ‘choc ice’ tweet.Pathetic
The 8-game / 4-game discrepancy is because Suarez used the word multiple times. Terry just once.
@DreadedRed – lol, don’t think he had much chance anyway with his chunky legs
and 4 games???!!!!??? wtf!!!!!
what a knob!!!
Alan Pardew has signed a new eight-year deal at St James’ Park.
Ashley’s way of paying low wages, Pardew’s hope for longevity will likely fall short as he continually struggles to challenge for a top four finish. Eight years is a lifetime in football, I’m betting on an early death for the camera-hungry preener.
John Terry’s representatives have released the following statement:
“Mr. Terry is disappointed that the FA Regulatory Commission has reached a different conclusion to the clear not guilty verdict of a court of law. He has asked for the detailed written reasons of the decision and will consider them carefully before deciding whether to lodge an appeal.”
‘camera-hungry preener’ ha ha
he is, isn’t he? what a posing cockney twat.
Beckham said:
“I tried to get Man United shirts on them early. Two of them are Man United fans and one of them’s an Arsenal fan. I don’t know how that happened, but my middle son, Romeo, is an Arsenal fan. Actually, I do know how it happened. I took him to an Arsenal game and Arsene Wenger treated him so well, gave him a shirt with his name on the back and his favourite number.”
“I had that when I was a kid with Man United. I let them support whoever they want. They don’t have to support the teams I played for. When I found out that my son, Romeo, supports Arsenal, I became disappointed.”
“I can’t bring myself to support Arsenal, although I do respect the club.”
Those Terry gans don’t get it do they?
The court ruled that Terry was not being racist, but they did not rule that he did not say anything abusive. You don’t have to be racist to be abusive you know?
Villas-Boas says:.
“When you can afford one of the best strikers in the Premier League, to strengthen a squad that’s already so good, it really sends a signal to everyone. At this moment through decisions and also through Kagawa’s performance, Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to go with one striker, and putting Welbeck in the channels. It’s a massive attacking front. It really puts you in difficult situations when these players are performing.”
On Spurs failure to win at Old Trafford since 1989:
“In the end the statistics are there and we hope to break them one day, and hopefully it will be on Saturday. Going to Old Trafford is obviously a difficult trip. What you want to do is to get something that would make us feel very proud by getting a win that would shorten our distance to the top, and in an ideal situation profiting in some way from the clash between Arsenal and Chelsea. We are confident but we understand that the level of the opponent is extremely high. But we don’t run away from our responsibilities and we will play the game in an open way to try to get the result that we want.”
On [his] Chelsea’s attacking approach at Old Trafford last season:
“That is the way I like my teams to play. We obviously know that it is extremely difficult over there, but that doesn’t mean that you might not be given a chance when you play that way. In the end it’s about scoring your opportuinities. Had we [Chelsea] scored then maybe the result would have been different, but in the end United were also very good on the day and we managed to come out with a poor result but an excellent performance.”
Villas-Boas added that Gareth Bale will be to play, while William Gallas and Sandro are also likely to be available.
The FA = The Fucking Assholes
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/sep/27/john-terry-verdict-chelsea-guilty
Now I get it – Rio missed a drug test (which he subsequently passed) and gets eight months; EBJT swears racists abuse and gets four matches.
Heard on talksport cheapest ticket for Gunners vs Rentboys 62 quid, that’s mad
Four matches. That is quite lenient. And I am not surprised, not at all. Eventually Terry will petition the FA to play for Ingerlund and it will be a reconciliation in the press. If Terry was a Man It player he could expect al least a 2 month ban.
@ Dreaded Red
Pardew has to be the only fool to think he and Ashley will see that through. Ashley is notorious for being cheap.
No doubt this will start up all the handshake pish again when we play cska Moscow, too much focus on an unnecessary act detracting from the game
Meant cska London obviously doh
4 games for JT is a joke can’t believe they have been so lenient when as far as I know there wasn’t much/any evidence against Suarez. Any idiot can see what he’s saying on that video. He obviously had a very well paid lawyer and we all know what that means.
Onto last nights game, finally Amderson is given a chance since his good showing against Fulham and he produces a quite brilliant performance showcasing the many aspects of his game that every other central midfielder in our squad lacks. He drove forward with the ball at his feet, he was strong, head up ALWAYS looking to play the ball forward, none of this backwards/sideways bullshit. I thought he was fantastic but no doubt Sir Alex will drop him in favour of Giggs come the weekend.
A frustrated United fan.
P.s very quiet on here recently but at least it’s all football related instead of the drivel that use to appear.
FA = F*ck All, short for F*ck Only Knows. (… but they were concerned that their members would get confused with the extra words)
John Terry gets banned for 4 matches with solid video evidence of guilt
Suarez gets banned for 8 matches with no evidence, just a lack of “credibility”.
Only conclusion is that St John essentially admitted the charge and received leniency.
He said it 7 times, he said it seven times. Suarez baned 8 games while Terry gets 4.
Justice for Terry ! ! !
From the Examiner:
“The most likely outcome is that Terry only said the insult once, while Suarez was judged by his panel to have called Evra “negro” up to seven times. Suarez was also fined around a week’s wages – in his case £40,000″

433 please – its the way forward and suits the players we have
Don’t think about the fact that Terry got a shorter ban than Suarez.
Think about the effect that the perceived injustice of this will have on those bindippers fans who aren’t too busy wishing cancer upon Halsey and his family to actually notice!
Couldn’t get earlier to comment and now we have many threads.

This is great, cause subs would be valencia nani and chicharito, scholes and welbeck, they offer variety and arrogance.
For me Chicha is playing at the moment in a very high standards and I would pick him to start, but then we have so many good players that I would start with those.
We have a very good squad. like many have mentioned, every time “tom and jerry!” that was funny, starts we play good, of course it was Newcastle second strings, but still, they were very good.
As for youngsters Wotton and Keane did very good, they just lacked the presence, what for example Smalling and Jones had immediatelly when they played for us. But they playeed good, (first match)
Vermijl for me had two good crosses, byut then I noticed that he made one mistake which led to comprimise his game and he never looked comftorable after that. understandable, but you gotta step up from the first moment.
i remember rafael, jones and smalling coming to play and Buttner now, and they were outstanding no matter the age, so you gotta do that. But we have good youngsters, keane brothers, brady, powell etc.
This came a bit long

ROONEY LOOKED good!!!
Well this is good. Not.
Where the fuck has everyone gone.
Terry got of light, cause he’s an Ingerlund capt. Same as shearer when he tried to kick lennons head off.
Don’t get me wrong, id kick lennon if I got the chance but I’d get done a whole lot harder.
Utd til I die.
John Barnes. Loserpool fuckwit and now, comedy racist.
Having said that, obviously its not his fault.
Hahaha.
Happy times. We’ve got Fletcher back, the steel we so desperately need in our midfield. It’ll be harder for the less illustrious teams to bully the midfield into submission now he’s back.
Rooney looks like he’s being groomed to play the deep lying playmaker role, able to both distribute and run with the ball.
Anderson looks to be a great box to box midfielder, but did anyone notice him tiring towards the last 15 or so minutes vs Newcastle? He stopped running on the counter attack when he got the ball, probably out of breath and not 100 percent match fit. No complaints with his overall performance and goal though. hope he has more of the same in the future (or better).
@Dev,
Yup Ando was a beast in the first half but ran out of gas towards the last 15minutes.
I’m not suprised considering he haven’t had much playing times under his belt.
Having said that I’m all for it if we can get similar performance out of him for 60 minutes and sub him out after that, everytime he started. Hopefully the damage (for the opponent) would have been done by then.
Triple trivia;I could imagine sachu talking to himself in the corner like Norman Bates in Psycho.
I would not mind a draw at the Emirates, but would prefer a home win. Fulham is never an easy place to go to so they may nick something from the bitters. A Norwich win would just be bloody hilarious I mean this weekends results
Good news about Valencia. It will be interesting to see what Fergie does with Rio this week. Can’t expect him to play all 3 games.
Wootton stepping up? Michael Keane maybe? Or 3 defenders (2 wing backs and Evans)? Maybe Carrick again, as Fletch and Anderson are now ready?
No word on Rafael picking up a serious injury right?
Costas, Very good news indeed. Might be rested tomorrow but in the frame for Cluj. Also good that Smalling is expected back for the Stoke game after the International break. These defensive injuries are really a headache.
At least Sir Alex mentioned that both Wooton and Michael Keane impressed enough to be brought in if needed. Honestly think Spurs will have a field day with Wooton, but needs must I suppose.
Dev, Think Sir Alex said Fletch would not start tomorrow, but that Cluj would be a good game for him.
I kink of think the Leaque Cup team would be in frame for Cluj. Good news for the youngsters.
wouldn’t mind seeing buttner playing again. was he injured against Newcastle ?
Manchester United sitting 3rd top of the league. Getting used to this unfortunately.
http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
We have been tops of this league 3 years running and expect more of same this year. Not being negative mind, only expecting spurs and stoke to give us a few more knocks following past form.

The FA is owned by Fergie and his suckers. They always politically suppress every other club in England. Even Mourinho says Terry is not a racist. And all you RoM LOOSERS who have nothing else to do in life, call for Terry’s blood everyday.
The biggest LOOSER blog should be renamed therebublikofLoosermania.com
Someone’s butt is still stinging.
Of course it is stinging and is on fire. Thanks to the losers on here who can’t make a single point without using dirty swear words. If the same suckers played for England, they would be banned by the FA in a heartbeat for their dirty demeanor (except of course if they were in anyway associated with MU). These hypocrite losers come on this blog and vent their life’s frustrations (except ofcourse a few classy people like Sir Giles Oakley and the person above).
Anyone on RoM coming to Cluj for the game? I’d love to meet up
Also, if anyone is selling tickets in the away end, let me know! I wanna be with the United supporters
Thanks brothers!
@ Costas, how did you do that. That face…
Terry’s ban was for abusive language. Nobody said he is racist. Do you need a dictionary to understand the difference between the two?

Your filthy vomit is a side effect of eating disease-ridden rats found in dirt-bins. Your inane commentary is so puerile that even your fellow rodent-munchers ignore you, hence you take shelter here, feeding off scraps. @philco, attacks by multiple users names by the same people. Like Proverb, is 911, Sara and many more. He will ask where he is with another name , carry on conversations with him self. He has attacked Cedars, Sandeep and more. STR has not dealt with this issue as is choice, thus others make it their choice not to show. I still post here and there. Many have left until the multiple user names are done away with.
@Zibbie, you missed out this one in your example.

NBA finalizing flopping procedures
Spokesman Tim Frank said Thursday the league is finalizing procedures to deal with flopping, the art of falling down when little or no contact was made in an effort to trick referees into calling a foul.

—————————————————————————
@ Zibbie! Thanks man. Been looking for that!
Fuckin ell, back-to-back away trips to Stamford Bridge on either side of Braga home and away. Fletcher’s return is exactly what we need, the more fit midfielders the better. Anderson and Cleverly bossed the game in another rare joint-appearance, Carrick, Scholes and Giggs were all rested, and Kagawa won’t be rushed back before time. You don’t hear so much about a crisis now?
Rooney put in a solid midfield shift and clocked up some miles. Im not wrong in thinking Giles mentioned his suitability to that role ages ago? Performances like that show he can adapt for our current Squad and still contribute. Just his quick return is a nod in the right direction – he looks fitter than he did at Everton!
Vidic is still a blow, but we’ve hopefully got Smalling and Jones back soon to shore up defence. The youngsters gained some valuable experience in an important win (League Cup or not)
All in all we look good for the end of Sept, and no need to worry about Nani imo. United don’t mind improving contracts annually when performances warrant it. Right now the Club have a brilliant player on our books for absolute peanuts – less than 50% of Silva’s wage ffs. Get a grip. Money aside, people losing patience shouldn’t forget his international form or his young age.
Nani will deliver the goods – the next 7 years will be his best hopefully starting with another cracker at Spurs. I wouldn’t even mind a deflection!
Your welcome , off to work!!
GO ROONEY!!!! , Yes Rooney in MF has been a subject for years, that is wear I see his best position for him and the team for 5 to 7 years!!!!
ex TAOT, the main points from Sir Alex’s press conference:
“We had bad news earlier in the week about Nemanja [Vidic]. It’s a blow. We’ve had a terrible time with defenders. Hopefully we get through the next three games and the international break comes along. By that time we should have Chris Smalling back.
“On Wednesday we played two young boys and they did very well. Scott Wootton reads the game well, passes the ball well and having seen him in a situation against very experienced players, I thought he did very well. That’s a bonus for us and he’ll be involved in the game tomorrow.
“Antonio Valencia’s doubtful. He got a knock first of all when he went into the tackle with Agger and Johnson [at Anfield] before he broke clear and got brought down. He got an ankle injury there. But if he’s not okay for tomorrow he should be okay for Tuesday [against Cluj].
“Tottenham is always an interesting game and they play good football. It’s disappointing for Harry Redknapp not to be there after the job he did but the new lad, Andre Villas-Boas has a similar philosophy that suits Tottenham. His teams always try and play and it should be an interesting game. I think it will be open and they’ll come to try and express themselves. United/Tottenham games are always good. Hopefully we can maintain our consistency at the moment, which isn’t too bad.
“Darren Fletcher is in the squad for tomorrow. Obviously because he played on Wednesday night and contributed so well – also it was his first game of that magnitude for 10 months – I wouldn’t start him. But he may get a place on the bench and he could possibly go to Romania and play against Cluj. That could be an ideal opportunity for him. His enthusiasm on Wednesday night was fantastic. Darren sat in front of the two centre-backs and did a really good job.”
SAF on an England recall for Rio:
“It’s entirely up to Rio. I wouldn’t think he’ll get called up. I think Roy made his decision for the Euros and I can’t see him changing that. It would be difficult for him to go to Rio now and welcome him back. If that happens, it’s entirely up to Rio in terms of what he wants to do. I don’t know if Rio would do it – I haven’t asked him. It’s just speculation from the press at the moment after Terry’s decision to retire from international football.”
The managers comments on CLLC are priceless. He did get off leniently. If Suarez got 8 for admitting to using banned language then the Englishman should’ve got the same. Who gives a fuck what a players personal opinions on race are? Do your intentions matter when you earn a red card?
The RULES of the game state you can’t use banned language, just like outfield players can’t use their hands during play. Its not rocket science is it? Chelsea are lucky the FA aren’t serious about FA otherwise their “leader” would be missing 8 games.
Ask me the Game needs to stamp it out. No handshakes today, a broken jaw tomorrow. And thats just the youth players. Nip it in the bud I say or you will have a problem. And for the naysayers get an advantage over your superiors some other way you unworthy Cunts haha.
Special shout out to Park for not shaking that filthy bastards hand either. Thats what you call solidarity.

@Zibbie
The NBA definitely leading the way on stemming out cheats. They even have post match reviews to study incidents that the referee missed or did not deal with properly
I see no reason for not enabling post match actions, even with yellow cards already issued. If a bad tackle is missed or misjudged, the player still deserves to be punished. And not to mention diving. a 2 game ban for every dive missed should be enough to weed it out.
Referring to FletchTHEMAN post on United’s injuries, sometimes I wonder if it is just coincidence that we had more injuries, injury prone training, more tackles on United’s players, or other reasons. Well, I definitely don’t like to point finger but for 3 years being the top in the injury list, it is definitely quite alarming.
