    Great news about robin

    Good news on RVP.

On the ever present subject of degrading opinions and insults. This never seems to go away , a fact of the internet.

Lets try this again. Something many have tried explaining but the sad fucks dont seem to get it.

Express yr opinions freely, dont be afraid. Criticise the manager or players or whatever.

But do it right. If u cant tell the difference between hate/rubbish or plain stupid comments , then just fuck off.

Dont spoil the day for others. Argue for all u want but dont insult with lies and sick jokes the very club and people u profess to love and support.

Lets look at some of the stuff on the other thread.

*Apparently Wellbeck is utter rubbish and not Manutd quality. Will amount to nothing.
*Ferguson is so fucked up, he shud be fired.

React however u want to those 2 comments.

Would have been a piss take if RVP got banned for it. A.b.u’s will always grab onto any possible straw. It seems that if you’re in a red shirt of united, the magnifying glass get bigger.

  5. FletchTHEMAN says:

Interesting upshot to the Cabaye incident are statements that Robin has a nasty side. Not surprising that we don’t focus much attention on players when they are not ours.

Anyone thought much about the incident with Messi at the WC finals? Anyway, most on here would be hard pressed to call vPersie a nasty player from the perspective of game he played against us.

Terrific game yesterday from the lads, a joy to watch. With Rooney and RVP hitting top form it should make for some eye pleasing football over the coming weeks. Great to see Valencia back. For all the blight that’s placed on our “inadequate” midfield, I’d be hard pressed to believe SAF isn’t chuffed to bits right now with the embarassment of options. Carrick, Cleverley, Fletcher, Anderson, Scholes, Rooney or Kagawa operating as a CAM, Giggs able to come on in a 2nd half and calm things down. It’s not Spain’s midfield but it ain’t exactly pub league quality either. I think SAF may have just found his best midfield set up with Carrick/Clevs holding and allowing Rooney to dictate the play. He was in beast mode yesterday pinging passes all over the pitch.

Ashley Young in the away end? HA! That’s awesome, can only imagine the lucky buggers at St. James yesterday looking down a few seats to see a top pro ready to cheer on the lads with them! 3 points to the good against a dangerous side, a clean sheet and roll on. F’ing int’l breaks….sigh.

  7. Proverb says:

Last night in el classico was all about “anything you do little Argentinian, I can do better” a great game which imo in the first 45 madrid could have scored 2 or 3 goals and then see out the second half, but no, it seems only ronaldo manages to keep his composure once he faces the sight of goal. His first goal was an amazing strike so is the second goal of lionel messi. El classico really living to its expectations

The actor ‘biscuits’ really showed his through colours last, auditioning for the Hollywood up coming best movie, decent player though!!

SAF speaks: “Our football was terrific in the first 20 minutes. I wanted to try the diamond again after some success against Cluj and it worked very well for us, though there were moments in the second half where we had to change it. It offers different options for us.

“Obviously, Manchester United is renowned for our wide players and at one point we did go that way, but we played so well on Tuesday against Cluj I thought we should find out how far we can go with that diamond system.

“The football we played from the central positions with Cleverley and Kagawa, Rooney and Carrick was terrific.”

    BUT WILL HE LISTEN ?

Dislike Pardew such a phony attention seeking twat, has a lot of nerve when Tiote stamped on Tom’s leg that should have been a straight red.Makes a big difference to the defense when the players in midfield actually apply themselves instead of floating around and making no attempt to pick up players,no Nani more shape.I’m wondering if he was left out because of the fighting incident whatever the reason unless he turns it around going further down the pecking order with Tony V,Kagawa and Young more likely to be picked over him.
Don’t understand all the hate towards Danny his work rate, link up play and one touch passing are all superb he brings plenty to the team and he’s still developing i have no doubt in a few years he’ll be a top class striker.

  11. denton davey says:

Rio gets 8 months for going shopping; EBJT gets four matches – and some spare change for lying AND racist abuse.

RVP “gets off for a face-wash”; what happens to Cheikh Tiote for a leg-breaker ?

  12. Costas says:

Shelvey for England. Every kingdom needs a court jester I guess.

  13. samuel - united WE stand says:

Costas – is it me or does shelvey have a map drawn on his bald head? I can’t work it out.

Welbeck has class and talent. He just needs time.

  15. samuel - united WE stand says:

Denton – the diamond system could be crucial, especially in the very big games in the premier league and europe. We have technically gifted adaptable players, looks like that suits united but generally, we can switch tactics due to the wingers united have, always nice to have various plans within a game.

The issue with the diamond formation is the danger from wide, thankfully united have wingers to combat that.

  16. Wee Toms Ligaments says:

Wingerless midfield works due to Welbeck and Kagawa taking a turn up top. RVP can drop to midfield and still run at defenders.

Biggest gain is the confidence to run an interchanging 5 attackers + Carrick.

It will be the future of United. A 4-1-5. No defined positions. Just attack, attack, attack.

  17. Dev says:

Having really capable attacking fullbacks like Rafael and Evra (less so) helps too.

Shame about loaning out Fabio though, he could’ve helped out in the traditional winger role.

  18. Costas says:

    @Samuel

Ha, I can’t tell pal. I haven’t noticed it. His nose blocks out everything. Don’t know who’s the worst. Him or Spearing and his Benjamin Button genes. I bet the latter isn’t far away from an England call up as long as Hodgson is in charge.

  19. samuel - united WE stand says:

costas – Spearing has got dumped to the lower league hasn’t he? Tubby little fucker. Definitely some relations there but I think spearing just edges it but not by much. has his neck been placed on the “F.b.i most wanted” list yet?, fuck knows where it is, the nasty runt.

  20. mara says:

Stephan El Shaarawy..we should give a bid for him…Milan is out of money…it doesnt mean he will be cheap…but he is worth that money…

  21. Costas says:

    @Samuel

Lol, yeah, no neck whatsoever. He’s on loan at Bolton. I am glad that Liverpool have him and Shelvey. Just like our generation of United fans had Carragher to laugh at, this generation has those two.

  22. kanchelskis says:

Ha! Youngy looking more like Marlow Stanfield than ever at SJP!

Will be another good option to have when he’s back.

  23. denton davey says:

Wee Toms Ligament @ 16:55: “A 4-1-5. No defined positions. Just attack, attack, attack.”

I like the “no defined positions” – but that puts a lot of pressure on the two fullbacks. I’m very confident about TheLittleTiger’s progress and, somewhat hopeful, that NinjaEvra can play a more disciplined game, staying in his defensive position and not wandering inside.

  24. LonestarRed says:

RvP does have a street fighter streak to him, as does Rooney. You want that controlled combativeness in your players. Especially when it is obvious that teams will try to bully our players off the ball. Newcastle’s overly physical (dirty) play was on display for all to see. Credit to Webb for controlling it early. That was key to allowing our passing game to develop. I do disagree with some of the yellows he gave us , but I am glad to see that we gave them some of their own medicine.

  25. denton davey says:

LoneStarRed @ 21:40: “Newcastle’s overly physical (dirty) play was on display for all to see. Credit to Webb for controlling it early.”

Errr – Howard Webb did NOT even yellow-card Cheikh Tiote for his studs-first leg-breaker which fortunately did not injure YoungTom BUT Howard Webb did give a yellow card to KagawaBunga for sweet-fuck-all and then, for good measure, he yellow-carded two other UTD players (that is, players for Manchester “United” = not the bar-codes).

  26. LoneStarRed says:

    @ Denton 23:56

Webb should have definitely carded Tiote much earlier ! I agree that we were harshly carded , but he did warn them and slowed down their fouls. It’s obvious that many teams seek to foul us out of our game plans. Newcastle succeeded in this last year. Webb did screw up but had he not warned them early it would have been much worse. His cards were VERY fast to come out for our fouls on them though.

  27. Adamcy says:

Great news on Robin, from my point of view he escapaed the punishment because it happened accidental and Cabaye was just trying to make a meal out of it. Glad to see Young in the midst and does anybody know the extent of his injury and his return date?

  28. mara says:

“Elsewhere, the Daily Mail claims Birmingham City want to ditch Ravel Morrison, saying boss Lee Clark has run out of patience with the former United starlet – less than three months after signing him on a 12-month loan from West Ham.”
