Man Utd News 24/7

The BBC “Price of Football” is very interesting read. Bonkers how the price is rising.
11% in one year for a ticket. 2.50 for a cuppa tea in Manchester is the highest anywhere!
Way off topic.
Warning: Zero United content!
Don’t suppose there is a prayer of landing this kid Neymar?
Just played his 200th game for Santos and scored a cracker.
Capped 25 times and 16 senior goals for Brazil.
20yrs old, already won the Plukas award.
Don’t usually wax philosophical about other players, but this lad seems worth breaking a bank over.
Heard someone say he is staying in Brazil until after the Olympics. Then….. “Only god knows”
@fletchtheman
neymar would cost about double our transfer record. so i sincerely dont see a deal like that happening.
friveluss. Grant me this momentary lapse of concentration, before we turn our thoughts to the more mundane issues.
For instance, the completely artless issue of ….. Stoke!
As for the season ticket cost issue. As far as Im concerned its only fair as City fans spend half their time looking the other way so you could say they should only pay for the bits they watch. When the goals stop going in and the season ticket price goes up, they’ll stop going.
For all you Serb fans out there. Thank you for your little gesture of racism and your archaic ways of downplaying your bigotry. I would however like to reach out a hand of piece, something the English FA has no idea to do instead just talks down to people and points the finger. In comemoration of 20 years since the bosnian conflicts begining Ive bough a pack of plastic aeroplane kit pilots (1:72 scale). They are naturally NATO pilots as they were the only ones flying at the time and Ive painted all the faces black. WHOS DA MASTER RACE NOWZ FAGGITS.
Sorry anyone who wants one of these bombers of belgrade black NATO pilots just write your addresses in the comments filled and I will send one to you post haste.
John Terry has elected NOT to appeal his FA ban and will miss 4 matches
including both the upcoming games against United.
http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/121018/terry-accepts-fas-four-match-ban-racial-abuse-183329
John terry taking a 4 game ban holiday to serbia? Maybe!
http://t.co/zj4vod0M robin van me and teammates accused of partying with prostitutes.
Fucking hell. Aren’t him married already??
I have repeatedly said that footballers need to learn how to apologize.
Amazing to hear Terry apologizes to fans and his team, yet not to
Anton Ferdinand?!
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8174864/John-Terry-decides-not-to-appeal-four-game-ban
Young rich and famous why the fuck would he want to be married,let’s face it for most celebrities doesn’t matter if their married or not anyway
The world is screwed up.
The courts free Terry but an unelected, unregulated system decides to charge him with wrong doing. In the process calling witnesses liars. No matter how much you hate Terry and Cole we have to abide by the courts, yes they make mistakes but if we dont as individuals hold the moral ground then we might as well all do what the arabs do and cut heads of in the village square.
Terry then gets a 4 match ban after calling Anton a black ******* (whatever was actually said). The FA then decided that kicking a verbally abusive player or acidentally missing a drugs test infinetely worse than calling a black person a black person.
Whatever next? A pedophile rapes a toddler and gets 2 years and then killing a pedophile gets you 30. Doesnt sound right to me.
Neymar looks good for Santo,but so did Robinho.It did not go so will in Europe,except for his first and last season for Real Madrid.Or he might fade out like Ganso
Seeing Terry get his head cut off in the middle of Trafalgar square would be fucking awesome,I’d fly home and buy a ticket for that
wayne, I always thought Van Persie was a homo. No skin off my nose as where to shove your dick is hardly the be all and end all in life. For instance I like holes in fences, sunning it on my windowsill, my wifes arse and antique vases. And I for one dont think thats lost me any respect!
I always felt he had a bit of the Larry Graysons about him and he could hardly be a woolly woofter in todays football not with JT and the likes about.
Hahaha, oh no goat you killing me

The season ticket survey mentioned by FletchTM
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19842397
LiverStool’s 3rd highest behind Spurs, yet they never won EPL for the past 2 decades. Imagine if they had…gulp..
Goat have no idea mate never followed RVP until he joined Utd like you though makes no difference to me
I’m assuming The Greatest Team is anti Glazier because the only team in the prem to have cheaper tickets than City are Wigan so just to single out Utd isn’t fair,cheapest season ticket at Liverpool is over 700 quid.To me just shows how pathetic City are, have close to the cheapest tickets in the prem and still have problems selling out
Should point out I’m not defending the price of tickets just putting things into perspective
King is raw power, pace and courage. He strikes me as a determined, intelligent player who strives to be efficient in everything he does. I hope SAF puts some eggs in his basket as i would hate to see this boy not reaching his obvious potential. His performances for norway might go a long way towards getting a loan deal in the prem and i hope so.
like FletchTHEMAN, I have nothign to do also,
so bringing some news, I know we have alot of strikers, but one more to add?
“Sturridge headed for Chelsea exit”
Fore me he is an exiting player, but would he have room here? No, would Fergie develope him into a starplayer? Absolutely yes! O would go for him, but the thing is, maybe I’m repeating myself, that we have 4 strikers, WillKean and Henriquez coming through, maybe Macheda? Though I think unfortunately his days are over here
, Sturridge would be too much`?
What do you thunk guys? And as for Neymar, well he is sometimes a sulky player, but the guy plays his heart out, and scores goals, he is an amazing talent, he could be our “new” number 7, his buyout clause is ridiculous and I don’t think we will go after him, again for me unfortunately.
If you say he wouldn’t settle here, well Ronaldo was as skinny as him, look at him now, football is changing, and also look at Oscar, he is making his mark here.
cmon United. can’t wait for the saturday’s game
And of course we also have Joshua King , maybe I answered my own question.
The only thing is that, Sturridge has that experience. Of course I’ll better give a chance to our own academy players, but just a thought
Joshua King needs btw asap to be loaned to an EPL team and start scoring there. Not in the reserves!
Spanish clubs free ride with the banks are over so only way Real or Barca could sign Neymar would be to sell first,Neymar insulted Utd somewhat recently when asked about a move to Europe said if Chelsea,Real or Barca show interest have to listen didn’t mention Utd
Personally its always a risk paying a kings ransom for a young Brazilian because playing in Europe especially the prem is a whole different ball game,anyone know how that little cunt who stiffed us for PSG is doing
Moura doesn’t move till January didn’t realize once he shafted Utd lost all interest in the little cunt
Chelsea looks like it is trying to put the Terry affair behind them.
First JT mea culpa and now revealed that Ashley Cole will pay £90,000 for his twitter insult of The FA resulting from their failing to believe his evidence in support of this now banned Captain.
http://www.thefa.com/News/governance/2012/oct/ashley-cole-fined-misconduct-charge.aspx
Maybe we will have to look beyond Chelsea for our fun as the season progresses….
Liverpool anyone

Sturridge is not dissimilar to Nani has a lot of skill but his decision making with the final ball leaves a lot to be desired
@wayne
not mentioning United tells that the guy doesn’t know his football
I agree you with that, after all, he would give us 3-4 years and go somewhere else. that’s a fact!
I hope our academy players soon start to establish themselves! I trust on them!
What about sturridge? what do you think? He isn’t loved and appreciated there so I think he isn’t a mercenary if he comes here. Look at what he did at Bolton. Here he would be loved.
Hard to say, with our ranks coming through!
Terry accepts he is a racist, Cole fined for being a bastard on twitter, what next?
Classless club, Classless players and Classless fans.
Proverb – what’s next is that the FA meet, count up their profit from the fines. They may have a drink to celebrate another windfall. 220k JT; 50k Rio; 90k AC. I can give to 360,000 reasons why racism is still in football.
WeAreUnited don’t see it happening mate Utd have a surplus of strikers,Hernandez isn’t getting much of a look in and this lad is a top striker,Keane was making big strides before his injury but obviously has bags of talent and will be back now King is coming along, agree with you don’t see anyway Macheda breaking into the lineup and will be gone
Back from exile! Its been hell watching all those ups and downs and unable to comment on ROM!
By the way am loving Kagawa, Cleverley and Rooney so far! Hope Anderson gets a chance!
Seems Nani is definitely out of united. Stories abound in the media that the reason he was not in the team sheet wasn’t about performance but coz of a spat petrucci whereby its alleged he punched him. If true, that’s the end of nani. Just remember how the boss has dealt with such cases of indiscipline
Next? Next is the chavs will loose to tottenham and one classes cunt like the two mentioned above will racially abuse one tottenham player knowing he’s 90k reserved to feed thebucnchoftwats association when they come flaming
proverb
IU admire your hatred of the chavs, really, its most comendable BUT I have to side with Ashley Cole on this one. Whatever his evidence was and Im not privy to it and no way would I bother my shity existance with reading such toss especially when theres Ricky Lake, Jerry and Fear Factor on the box but they called him a lier, he called them twats. I cant see how thats worth £90000. We will soon be laughing on the other side of our faces when the FA try the stunt on us because a certain Mr Rooney crashes his car and brings the FA sensible driving respect campaign into dissrepute or Rio decideds to to some hip hop rap trap arse street rag time ho bitch muvva fucker tunes (or whatever that noise is called nowadays) and decides to have a lyric in a well thought out tune bringing into focus a large arse or the lack of one on the more sportier woman and offends the only woman linesman in the British game.
Fuck that its all fucking madness, the world has gone crazy. Its like fucking a pedophile and getting 2 years and killing a toddler and getting 30.
Wheres my vase with gilding.
Goat I understand you views mate, but surely you can’t slate the commanding association of a football league you’re playing in and expect to get away with it.
That’s was one stupid comment I’ve seen in a while by a professional soccer player.
They are a very classless bunch, have the club punished them yet???
I heard Chelsea have taken disciplinary action against John Terry but it will remain confidential – http://t.co/paEmTHd2- via skyfootball
@wayne agree with you with everything you say!
@theredderdevil
the punch incident was before the Tottenham game, and after that Nani started in that game and scored a goal.
If Nani leaves, it’s for different reasons. Unfortunately.
As a Nani admirer, I would give him a contract and show him more appreciation, but can’t see him staying put, and maybe for him and for United it’s better that we get new blood, and Nani leaves
This is hard for me to say, but after this season, no matter what, I think Nani will be leaving. I just hope, Nani gets his chance again and starts banging those assists and goals. And leaves us with good memories. And those haters realises what we will be missing.
The player who I wish to come here is Iker Muniain! that’s for sure, he’s a player who definitely will leave Bilbao, and I hope he comes here! He would be a player with that total football style,.
We’ll see what happens.
Sturridge to united? you have got to be joking. United have enough forwards both in the first team/youth and will never be interested, add that to the fact will never sell to united and that sums it up.

nani has had a mixed start but i think as the season goes on he will get better,plus the season is long he will get his chance.if he does leave ,will wish him good luck and move on, cause while his a good player the team can and will move on without him.
king’s loan spells haven’t gone to plans due to injuries and lack of game time. Joshua has blistering ridiculous amount of pace, he’s developed into a power-house but his finishing wasn’t up to scratch and his all round game needed a step up. He has improved hugely ever since and is ready to make the step up but he’s got a battle on his hands to break through as a centre forward but on the wing, i think he has a chance because united aren’t as strong there as some would say. He still faces a battle because brady will want a chance too. I can only hope he gets a chance against chelsea in the league cup, that’ll be a difficult game.
Iversen @ 12:50: “King is raw power, pace and courage. He strikes me as a determined, intelligent player who strives to be efficient in everything he does.”
But is that enough – look at the competition for playing-time among the attacking players: RVP, TheWayneBoy, Chicharito, DannyTheLad, Nani, Ashley Young, AV7, KagawaBunga.
That’s eight highly-skilled – at their peak – players and doesn’t add in other wannabe’s like Will Keane, Angelo Henriquez, or KikoTheKid.
What makes King’s task even more daunting is that four of those guys – Chicharito, Ashley Young, DannyTheLad and, maybe, Nani are now going to be warming-the-bench watching the other four strut their stuff.
So, is Joshua King going to be better than Mexico’s starting centre-forward and (soon) all-time leading goal-scorer ? is JK going to be better than Portugal’s second-name-on-the-team-sheet ? is he going to be better than DannyTheLad or Ashley Young who are in the Ingerlish first-team ? does he have more up-side potential than Angelo Henriquez who earned his first cap for Chile @ 18 ?
From what I can understand, JK really-and-truly is between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place. To separate himself from the pack of wannabe attacking players he’s going to need to take his game to the proverbial “another level”.
@GaryLineker
I’d love to know how the FA determine the fines. Do they sit round a table and start bidding like an auction? Do I have 70K? 80? 90K? Sold
Haha!!!
Joshua King has it all to do, but he needs a really good loan spell or two, like what Welbeck got. He has Holland, England and Mexico’s best strikers ahead of him, if he can get a place amongst them, it would already be a huge achievement, such is the competition here. Even Will Keane is ahead of him if it wasn’t because of the bad injury
I personally don’t understand the fuss. So Ashely cole is classless and swore as did Jt and rios brother…..and 100 other players. Am I the only one that doesn’t get why it’s a big deal? Are people really that surprised that a bunch of uneducated over paid ego maniacs with more money than intelligence don’t actually know how to speak properly?
FA and press keeps going on about how EPL players are role models and should abide by codes….u must be fucking joking. Any parent who thinks their kids “role model” should be a footballer should have their head examined. These are not anyone’s idea of a Role model if ur too much of a fucking loser as a parent that ur kid can’t look up to u then don’t have kids. It really pisses me off, hell I never hear anyone say politicians are role models and should be kept to a code….
Don’t get me wrong issue of racism must be tackled but this hand wringing over twitter and swearing….fuckin idiotic
Yes they play on the national team and represent the nation but really they are only as good as the people so unless every person in England has stopped cursing And racism in all forms has been eliminated in all aspects of life then only then can u start Judging these footballing idiots.
Freedom of speech applies to all if anyone else on that idiotic twitter can say FA are a bunch of twats then so should footballers.
@samuel
no I wasn’t joking, and I underlined that we have enough of strikers and so on. But still the guy has something. This is my opinion. It doesn’t mean I would put him ahead of RVP, Rooney, Chicha or Danny. No way, I wouldn’t. But he would be a force. He’s just not getting any chance.
And yes they wouldn’t sell us anything. Same like Arsenal wouldn’t sell RVP to us, Liverpool Torres to chelsea, etc.
Just saying that guy has talent. And would be a good player to reckon. We went after Ashley Young for example, and he is no dead weight but a good option for us.
But like I said, we have Henriquez and WillKeane coming throught so that’s why we wouldn’t get him.
@denton davey
I kinda agree, I hope he (King) gets his chance, but before his goal and his game for Norway, I wasn’t seeing him as a great player. And can he keep it up and fight for the places when he have those guys competing? At the moment no. In the future? well it depends on him.
peace.
And I’ll tell u something else too anyone who thinks Chelsea or Liverpool are classless…don’t get ahead of urself. We have the same type of uneducated, “classless” footballers in our team only difference is Sir Alex, he would come down on anyone with a ton of bricks if they tarnished club image. United have kept a relatively cleaner image from Chelsea simply because of mangement.
For me punishing what players do Is a lot more important than what they say. Perfect example is the moron turncliffe drinking and driving. That for me is when u throw the book at someone because he has the potential to do harm.
@sushi
I agree, of course racism is a thing that stupid people use and are.
But to think that footballers are good rolemodels, well not all. We thought Ronaldo (bald) was an rolemodel. He wenr with 2 woman who were guys.
Giggs had an eight-year affair with his brothers wife!!! CMONNN!
becks cheats, shit JT has his own thing and RVP wen with prostitutes. Ribery and Benzema fucked an underage girl.
I could go, on and on. These guys aren’t rolemodels.
Exept some, Scholes, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta. Players that come in my mind. But who are we to know that these guys haven’t done anything betrayal. So it’s no surprise.
I agree with WeAreUnited times have changed in the transfer market no loyalty from most players and the clubs are run as a business so if Rent Boys are getting rid of Sturridge Utd did put in the biggest bid and offered the highest wages,it would be a done deal.Won’t happen just saying a few years ago no way Utd would have had a chance to sign RVP,its become all about the bottom line for club and player
Exactly. agreed the notion that kids should be looking to footballers as the foundation for structuring their moral compass is beyond stupid. If A kid looked up go a giggs or a Rooney and wanted to emulate their skill sure I’m fine with it but if he said hey dad I think Rooneys lifestyle is awesome I wanna be like that then u fucked up a parent
Proverb

Thats my issue my friend. The FA are not his employers rather some encompassing body that links the teams that make up its structure. It would be as if you worked for Kwik Fit (If they still exist, an old tyre salesroom and changing workshop) and then said at home on twitter that you thought the representative assosiation of car repair stations was a bunch of ***** because of a rule theyve implimented that makes your job that little harder. TThen that associated union would then come down on you for bringing the good name of motoring repairs into doubt. The FA is a union not on the players side (thats the PFA) rather the union of the teams that make up the association. I think its time the FA, FIFA and UEFA got off their high horses and shut up and be the few statitition twats and party organisers that they actually are instead of something they are not. And what are they not – they are a bodie WITHOUT ANY income other than poaching income from its members. It stock piles revenue so it can be held in a more respectable light so it has the legal clout to attack the teams that made the money for them in the first place. Its the same as any fucking Union, dozey socialist cunts that take from the rich and give to the bank, they are the robin hood of todays society except they have alzeihmers and forget why the took the money in the first place, rather just keeping it for themselves. The reason why Unions were formed in the first place.
Sushi
I think the problem with the idea of this so called players being role models arose from over zeleous associations believing they can put a lid on the passage of time. Once upon a time the ballroom bands were just so swell and the lads were all shaved and showered and they were proper gentleman who your mother would welcome into the home. Without unions pop stars became rock and roll and then started missbehaving. We all except a rocker to take drugs, fuck a groupie, fuck a whore, piss in the street and crash a car into a hotel reception but because football has the FA the days of Charles Charley Charles and Bobby Charlton (love the man) will never move on. The fact of the matter is football isnt cricket, it is a sport of the general populous not the elite and for the most part we are the scum bags of society. The footballers should just be allowed to be the rock and roll star, shit they have fuck all else to offer, your hardly going to have a deep conversation with one are you.
Denton – the key point is, does josh king have to go toe to toe with these strikers for a role in the team?, no he doesn’t. He’s mainly a wing-forward, there’s a chance for him to break into the wingers department. All he has to do is impress and work harder, he’d hope the league cup goes on further than the stamford bridge tie.

WAYNE, always like your posts. Agree with you. Regards Moura to PSG, I think he was naive, better players will come to us. Are you on twitter WAYNE? Cheers
Agreed goat. Your right when you see the likes of Charleton it’s fair to see why people would expect role models but I guess football hasn’t moved with the times.
David Gill becomes FA Vice Chair as England positions him for higher office in FIFA/UEFA
Good move
http://www.thefa.com/News/2012/oct/david-gill-fa-vice-chairman.aspx …
I’ve said it before though what’s nauseating to see is ex-footballers who now have a media mouthpiece to legitimize their opinion into “journalism” running their mouth on every subject. As if we don’t know that all of them have been subject to abuse an subjected others to the exact same treatment.
samuel
If we are changing formation to less wing orientated style then we will be playing with three strikers like we have th epast couple of games. We then have to ask the question is 4 strikers enough. It may well have been the optimum set up for the 99 4-4-2 but should we have an injury to one of our strikers we would have no subs.
Fair enough but a deal for sturridge doesn’t add up. The van persie issue is different, he was in the last stage of his contract, he had bargaining power and could decide where he gets sold. Sturridge doesn’t, chelsea would only have torres as an out and out forward, there’s no way they’d get rid plus they will not sell to a rival. United have also never shown interest.

I don’t bet, but I would be willing to stake a few quid that we won’t be signing Sturridge. Jaysus wept lads!
Lets focus on the upcoming!
Something about Sturridge doesn’t sit right with me not sure why but no way we going to buy him with all the options we have. He doesn’t really justify the likely fee of £15-20m
yeah I get what you’re saying, SAMUEL. Kinda agree and kinda not.
My first wish is to get our own academy players to play for us, but if they aren’t up to it, and sometimes it happens, then we should look elsewhere. I mentioned Sturridge cause I rread the news and got me thinking, why not.
But if it would be up to me, instead of sturridge, I would go for Iker Muniain, no matter what!
@goatinaunitedshirt
I’m an ex-footballer (didn’t make it) and I get what you’re saying, but I for myself wasn’t into that rock and roll type of shit. Of course I can’t compare myself with Rooneys and so on. But for me, if you’re single it’s ok to party and so on. I did that. But never went over.
But when you have kids and a wife, and you cheat, and fuck your brothers wife, well, that’s not good rolemodeling for youngsters. It’s not good in any kind of way. For anyone.
Just because they are footballers and in the spotlight it doesn’t mean we should accept what they do, and just say, well hell of it, they are rock and rollers and footballers, they do what they want.
If you heard about your neighbour or your own brother doing that, well you would not be looking at it in a good way. Right?
Goat – i’ve always said you never have enough quality in a side. The more, the merrier. I think king is flexible and can adapt his game to whatever system. If it’s 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, there’s always a spot for a wide man. United could potentially have a lot of games this season, the manager will be utilising the squad and players that impress will get opportunities. Can’t deny the fact king faces an up hill battle but it’s one he can conquer if he stays a little patient, the squad is strong in attacking areas hence it’s difficult not only for him but others coming through. I guess the inevitable will happen and some will decide to leave. One thing is clear though, Fergie doesn’t want another goal difference nonesense.
United v Stoke (3pm Sat Oct 20).
Recent record WDWWWWWW.
Last time United dropped a point to Stoke at Old Trafford was back in 1980.
Referee: AnthonyTaylor
Assistants: Cann, Long;
4th Official: Halsey
Bit worried that Taylor has given fewer cards per game than any other ref, but still think we can handle
Mutt and Jeff (Owen and Crouch), or anything else Stoke throw at us.
Im neither for or against Sturridge coming to OT. I’ll leave that one upto Sir Alex. Like I said if were playing a 4-3-3 system then maybe 4 strikers arent enough. Maybe Macheda wont be No5 as he is now because of his desire to leave. MAybe Keane and King arent ready. Maybe the love affair with Hernandez is coming to an end because despite his poaching abilities he doesnt seem to be a striker that can carve something from nothing. On the break and speed behind the defence he is shit hot BUT if hes always going to play second fiddle behind Van Persie and Rooney (Wellbeck too) then he will more than likely only be called upon when we are a goal down. In which case they will be bunched up and Hernandez’s pace is cancelled out in a crowded last third. Maybe reuniting Wellbeck and Sturridge wont be so bad, have the two England u21 strikers and both central defenders in Smalling and Jones. The team that tested Muller, Ozil and co.
the reason the fa called cole a liar is he came out after the game and said terry didn’t say anything.the chelsea head of communications had to get him to change his story,because terrys alibi was he was repeating what anton ferdinand said.
So is jones good for at least bench on Saturday? I know smallingn is still a bit off.
Personally I miss jones lol his runs are awesome even if he ends up on his ass at the end Lol
WeAreUnited
Agree with you my friend. Im not condoning the rock and roll life styles of footballers rather trying to understand where the FA (FIFA and UEFA included) get off trying to turn sportsman into gentleman. Football is different to Rugby (old school eton), cricket, tennis etc where they have always been the sports of the gentry but football has always been the sport of the thug. In days yonder, football or its predecessor was a game played county wide where the object was to kick an inflated pigs bladder in a sort of mob rule, no rules as many players as are fit into opposing villagers churces.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_football
Hardly gentleman stuff. That would have been falconary, Tennis (1500′s onwards) and archary.
There has to be a distinction between gentleman sports and the sports of common folk and how they decide to carry on in life. I dont subscribe to manbagging or general faggotry where we all walk around like superstars but offer the world fuck all rather than our burger flipping capalbilities. Sometimes we need to fuck our brothers dog, drink stupid ammounts of booze and drive a knuckle duster into some fuckers guts to give our burger flipping minds something else to think about even if it is the next court case. I would like the FA just to ease off a bit, its putting me off my game. No wonder ultimate fighting and barbaric shit like that is on the increase.
markg
Non of his statements to the FA were under oath and had no legal bearing. A change of his statement doesnt matter as the FA are not a legally recognised body for administering justice rather a bunch of doo gooders utilizing other peoples hard earned cash for their own benefit. Maybe not individual financial reward like the coruupt african and southern American FIFA officials but certainly for status.
If they didnt want Coles statement then they shouldnt of asked for it. If they already had it why did they ask for another.
haha made me laugh
@goat
I get what you’re saying.
and as for your comment for the sturridge case, which was only speculations of course.
You made some good points. I thought the same also, just that I don’t think that Chicharito will end his love affair with us, or we wtih him. He’s an unique player.
I think he has more than the poaching in his game, you’ve seen it this year. he holds up the ball and has created chances, also scores goals out of nothing, that’s what I call a attacker. Never get rid of him, the kid loves the club, and he is an good example for youngsters.
Anyway, I would keep all 4 and bring 1 more.
Maybe Henriquez, Keane and the rest of the bunch, will first go on loan, establish themselves there and then have their chance here. Until then it will take 2-4 years and by then RVP is something 33-34 , rooney in his thirties and so on, so having back-ups who are able to play now and in the future is not a bad idea. And you never know about injuries. I don’t know, I like the kid sturridge and his ability.
but I think in 1-2 years SAF is not here anymore (crazy to think) and by then, it’s hard to say what will our next manager do and how will he blend in youngsters with oldies. after all in 1-2years, ther’es no giggs, scholes, ferdinand? and the rest are getting a bit old.
And football is also developing so that’s why maybe our style of players will/should change.
I think bringing Kagawa in tells that we are aiming for a change, next it would be Muniain!!! to make that tikitaka football welcome to the theatre.
I certainly hope we dont end our love affair of Hernandez either as I like the boy and he gives us options. I sometimes wonder if he wouldnt better be suited coming in from the right like Solksjaer did for a while.
I forgot about that young Chilean kid, Id like to see him get a first team game or two in the coming weeks.
Victor thanks,no mate not on twitter
Talksport talking about ticket prices most expensive in Germany is 40 quid,England Le Arse 126 quid that’s fucking mental
average ticket prices in germany roughly 20 euro about 15 quid plus all the matches are shown on the telly just press the red button for whatever match you want because the ticket prices are so low fans can afford to go and you can watch all the matches on tv as well
This expat is apparently falling behind with news from home. Nevertheless worth noting it, even if late. Hernandez is now the sixth all time scorer for Mexico, with 28 goals. The thing is that it took him less than 50 matches to get there, so by the end of WC2014 he will be number one, at the age of 25.
I don’t even know where this ridiculous rumour about hernandez leaving originated from, i can only assume a couple of incompetent journalists got bored and decided to pick united players randomly. I’ve not really taken it serious because it’s a load of bollocks. Simple. He’s not leaving.
The only situation I see is if he’s not getting enough games and wants out,think the initial rumors came out of Mexico.Utd’s strike force are awesome its up to Sir Alex to get the rotation right and keep everyone happy
FINALLY. REAL football is upon us again. Hopefully we don’t take another pointless international break for a LONG LONG time. Concerning how some of our players did in my opinion.
1. ENGLAND: No United player was impressive. Roo and carrick gave it away all the time. Cleverley was bleh. Welbeck tried but he was pretty much isolated. But it would be the most foolish thing in the world to judge United players based on their performances for England. Expect ALL these players to rip stoke apart on Saturday.
2. NETHERLANDS: RVP was awesome against Romania. Capped it off with a well deserved goal as well. Hopefully her keeps up his goalscoring form. We are more than fine upfront.
3. MEXICO: Well what else is new? Chicharito scoring at will yet again. Never gets old. Hopefully he will see more game time now.
4. FRANCE: Evra wasn’t actually bad against Spain. He did not go forward too much neutralised the spanish threat down the right hand side. That’s two good performances in a row now from Patrice ( Newcastle and Spain) are we seeing a resurgence? I really do hope so.
5. PORTUGAL: Nani was alright in the two games portugal played but was neutralised out wide because the opposing team knew the danger he posed to them so you often saw Nani get double teamed at times.
6. JAPAN: Kagawa scored the winning goal against France and was theo nly good thing about Japan in their loss to Brazil.
7.ECUADOR: From what I heard Valencia played well in both games.
8. NORWAY: Joshua King comes on as a substitute on tuesday and goes on to win a penalty and score his first senior international goal. Very bright star looking forward to seeing him more in the future.
9. SCOTLAND: Fletch completed 90 mins against Belgium, played against Wales as well. Unfortunately Scotland is gobshite and not even Messi’s presence could have saved them from losing to both Belgium and Wales. Fletch is finally getting fitter and fitter and hopefully he gets a run out vs stoke.
CANNOT wait for Saturday. FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!! COME ONNN UNITED!!!!
if this has been posted already sorry,pretty cool thing Ronnie did

I’m sick of the articles saying Bales is better than Giggs at his prime. So a player who depends on speed is better then someone who depends on skills? Typical English mentality. Giggs left players with twisted blood, the only thing Bale left people with is a twisted comparison. Some even say he is behind only to Ronaldo & Messi? I wouldn’t even take him over our 3 wingers. He is at best on par with Young in my opinion. Does he have gosls in him? Nope. Assists? Nope. Freekick? Nope

Relax mate, they are trying to buy him a move to the virus
Comparing him with giggs in his prime is as stupid as awarding him barclays player of the season, when everyone knew nani was by far the better player
since there are some transfer gossips going on, and some of you even thinking about neymar joining in
well it does seem that nani is on his way out and james rodriguez could be in soon. but i would have liked to see bale brought in, he has pace and can score, and reminds us of giggs in his early years with the club.
rotation in the squad this saturday could see rooney on the bench given he played on wednesday with england, likewise for cleverley, the lad is gaining in experience and its now only a matter of time for him to secure a permanent first team spot in the team replacing scholes. he just needs to take some more risks by going forward ball to feet instead of playing early passes/crosses
and this could be the formation we’ll see united use more often:

@denton
You’re right about the competition but i think he has something a bit different to offer. We already have lots of pace of course but i think we could use another player in the TV7 physical mould. Didnt see him much last season tbh with him being out on loan but from what i have seen this season there is something special about him. And as samuel says, he can be effective as a left winger too.
Well, the only forward player who I might be excited about is Neymar, the rest, like Sturiddge, not an improvement of what we have, so don’t waste time
Everyone returned from the internationals fit according to the Sir Alex. Young is ready for Stoke. Smalling not there yet.
costas – any news on jones?
@rohan
I don’t think he mentioned him, but that’s to be expected. Jones is a couple of weeks behind Smalling from what I remember.
well hopefully the new medical center we’ve built at carrington will help ease or prevent the injuries..
it is one of the most technologically advanced facility built in partnership with toshiba.
opens on 5th november.
Ferguson on Stoke City -
“The jolly green giants are coming to play against us tomorrow,” joked the United boss.
“Michael is not allowed to play unless he brings a ladder. They are the biggest team in Europe.
“You can get yourself all in a fangle about that because they are a handful at set-piece play and with their long throw-ins.
“But you can’t make a terror for yourself. Hopefully we can play our game and get the result we want.” Hahaha!

I don’t know if anyone has stumbled onto this ridiculous article of comparing bale with giggs. I mean i do read crap when so called experts publish something but some of the comments on there, posted by so called “welsh mem” are laughable at best.
The only thing they have in similarity was pace and a left foot and even at that, ryan edges him when he was in his pomp. Giggs was a world class player and that was recognise instantly by those that saw him as a kid, he had the ability to weave and jink past the very best defenders and made them land on their back side. he had immense close control, could pick a crucial match winning pass due to his vision, constantly whips in fantastic crosses which have bagged numerous of assists. He scored brilliant technical goals, in the biggest of games, in the biggest of arenas. He has struck anxiety attacks into the hearts of those that dare stop him. He was creative in all aspects with his guile, poise and general class with the ball, he is also mentally strong. Giggs is a world footballing legend, a european one and certainly a premier league one. He ranks amongst the high calibre of players like del piero, raul, zidane, scholes e.t.c. He’s won bucket loads of titles and still strives for more. Now close to 40, he’s obviously lost all that but he adapted his game, dropping deeper into central midfield to showcase his footballing intelligence and flexibility. Giggs is a footballing legend, so i fail to see how anyone can compare him with bale. Don’t get me wrong, gareth is a quality player but he’ s no where near giggs in terms of technical ability. The spurs man has bags of pace and power, his crossing is good and dribbling is not bad but giggs in his prime edges him in every aspects except power and height. I’m not just saying this due to giggs relentless pursuit of success but talent-wise, he’s by far the better footballer. Bale is more of a direct running player, he’s a threat if gjven the space to do that but giggs didn’t need that, that man could dribble his way out of a box of milk and provided moments of class consistenly for years.
The idiots that claimed bale is better than giggs even when united’s welsh craft-man was at his best needs to put down the crack pipe. Like i said, giggs is not the same player anymore but even at this slowing down stage, he still has it in him, especially in that left foot to provide moments of genuine masterclass, you look at bale and you feel his athleticsm makes him look good, he wouldn’t be adaptable when he loses all that energy and pace. That for me is one of many reasons why gjggs as a footballer was better at his prime.
Samuel, that piece is worthy of a football journalist credit. Couldn’t agree with you more.

Right on the money there.
Giggs was a magician, a wizard like Harry Porter. Of course now he’s more like Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore…
Bale is just the type of player some people adore. Kick the ball far and outrun the defender, all brute & no guile. Any defender with decent pace can keep him quiet, just ask Rafael
