Man Utd News 24/7

Count on the Guardian to be negative. Fergie was just asked a question and he said he would be astonished if the accusations were proven. See nothing wrong.
He just simply stated his observations. It won’t impact either investigation a wit.
Guardian is so predictable you set your watch by the amount of time it takes to bash United.
Wait till Harry Redknapp says the same thing. Not a word will be said.
“Ando was the best player on the pitch [on Wednesday] until he tired,” said Sir Alex. “He needs games now and hopefully we can give him them.”
Is this season the season when Ando does Nani’s. He lifts his game up and starts playing liek a king. Until he decides he wants a new contract hehe.
We need both, we need the whole team so this sounds promising!
We are ManUtd and we’ll do what we want!
i stopped reading that stupid article when i read it would be inconceivable that Terry would racially abuse an opponent,SAY WHAT,the article must be a piss take.I’d believe anyone over that mob, especially if Terry is at the center of it vile bunch of cunts
On the Nani situation was listening to talksport they were actually discussing Daniel Sturridge and if he’s good enough to lead Chelsea’s line. One of the lads made a point that resonate’s,he said no because top players make the right decisions most of the time and although Sturridge is very talented he makes to many bad ones. That sums up Nani to a tee and apart from the work rate it’s what separates him from Tony V who makes the right decision nearly all the time.
Nani’s major flaw unfortunately
Thing i like about Ando he’s not making any waves and has said just want’s to prove himself and play for Utd
Sir Alex Presser
No new injuries
Smalling back in training but not yet ready
Vidic setback and will not be in contention until X’mas
“it would be inconceivable that an England captain would racially abuse an opponent on the pitch too, before John Terry did it, so anything is possible”
Scott, this is the same guy who parked his car in a disabled spot and the very same guy who mocked American tourists the day after 9/11. Why do you think it would be inconceivable for him to do something morally low?
When it comes to Terry, NOTHING is inconceivable! The guy belongs in a very bad soap opera. A wife cheater who lies to his bosses and abuses enemies in the utter most disgusting way! So glad he Ooooooooooooooooooops… slipped on that kick. Couldn’t happen to a more #%¤?=!¤§£@€€£€{£€3%# person.
Anderson. I think he’s comming now. Clvereley has made his step up. Anderson is something different, IF he can become consistent.+-
So RvP turned down City and £300.000 a week?!! Not that he’ll suffer on what he’s getting at OT, but still who else would have done that among the top 10 strikers in the world? I know a few who wouldn’t. They play for teams owned by Arabian dictators and russian mafia. There used to be only Chelsea. Now the world is poisoned by:
PSG
City
Malaga
Chelsea
Zenith
Long may they suffer and die.
My team for tomorrow. Will tweet it to SAF
De Gae
Rafael Rio Evans Evra
Valencia Carrick Anderson
Rooney
Rvp Chicharito
I think Scholes will play a part in the 2nd half, when Anderson is tired. If Hernandez is off key, Nani will enter the stage. SAF may dare to pair Ando and Clev (I hope) but where does that leave Carrick?
Subs: Lindegard Fletcher Cleverley Scholes Welbeck Nani Young
Scott, please stop attacking Fergie every chance you get. Every since he came out publicly and defended the Glazers and made his “true supporters” claim, you have criticized nearly every semi-controversial decision he has made.
Enough already.
Are people not allowed to comment on a police investigation now? You know… I almost heard somebody comment about Jimmy Savile the other day. Obviously, the person writing that piece has an anti ferguson agenda which I pity. It is a nit picking article concerning the semantics of language. Ferguson’s view in a nutshell is that he cannot believe a referee would make such a comment. I think that should be everyone’s view. It is a pity that such articles form the agenda. They seem to detract from the real discussion we should be having as to whether Chelsea FC should be getting docked points for bringing the game into disrepute on a consistent basis.
– Scott knows these facts but he isn’t a person who is capable of making a consistent argument.
Jesus, only a few short hours after I wrote the above comment I get your newsletter with the first article titled, “Fergie Losing Touch?”
You, my friend, are losing touch. You are losing touch with what it means to support this great club–that it is a privilege, not a God-given right, to receive the jubilation we all feel when our team covers their asses in glory.
Stop with your anti-Fergie campaign at once, I beg you. You, not SAF, are smearing his legacy. Stop.
A letter to olivera anderson…
cantheyscore.com/2012/11/02/letter-to-anderson/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=letter-to-anderson
He is Sir Alex he says what he wants. He has said this for a reason to heap pressure on the FA and Chelsea.Do not ever forget what the great man has done for every United.
Congratulations to Lionel Messi and Antonella Rocuzzo on the birth of their first. Thiago Messi.
Hope he is a good a dad as he is a footballer.
SAF has told MUTV that Vidic has had a setback and will be out till Christmas and that Kagawa will be out for another 10 weeks.
Bad luck!

Really good article on the Clattenburg debate which discusses Fergies comments and brings in Wengers comments. Wenger has it spot on when he says Chavs had no business in making this public while releasing no convincing evidence. This could ruin a decent refs carrier with essentially a non supported allegation.

Sheesh, this place is emptier than Cities trophy room!

Duncan Drasdo, MUST, Green and Gold, FCUM Deserters, Red Issue and Fergie back biters. There would be no room on the bonfire for the scousers by the time I’d piled that lot on top.
wayne says:

Doesn’t this sum up Wellbeck?
When reading the comments on here I just can’t put together who are United supporters and who are not.
Anyways I don’t think Fergie did anything wrong with his comments, he has no effect on the investigation and he only said he didn’t believe it as in he would find it incredible if it was true!
Hope we thrash Arsenal tomorrow! After one victory against Reading, where they conceded 5 goals, they’ve become so cocky it’s unreal! They should get their feet to the ground as their only great player seems to be Cazorla!
my team for tomorrow would be
DDG
rafael rio evans evra
carrick anderson
valencia rooney young
rvp
attack through wings and torture santos (if he plays)
i picked anderson over cleverly because of his upper body strength which can be useful in maintaining possession. also he was spectacula vs chelsea..
for braga midweek :
lindegaard
rafa smalling evans evra
fletcher cleverly
valencia rooney welbeck
rvp
Rohan:
You may be spot on.
But what about Scholes?
Adam come back to me in 5yrs when Danny is Nani’s age and we’ll talk.Nani should be playing his best football and is playing his worst.Only thing Danny lacks is finishing,.the fans and club have given Nani 6yrs and nothing much has changed.i hate cunts like you who picks on kids still developing, the way Nani has gone about things by using the press and sulking like a little baby instead of applying himself and proving everyone wrong, lost all respect for him.
Van Persie as good as Cantona?
So says Mark Ogden…..
Ok, maybe it could happen………. Just keep him away from the hooligans
We don’t need any of those shenanigans!
http://soc.li/a3Z7lc
Speaking of the same?!
It’s a bird, no it’s a plane, no it’s Eric Cantona!!!! TheKing. Great video from Alfy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FkvLUEaGsA
King Eric mentioned it and i’m of the same opinion had no idea how good RVP was.Cedars had it right by wanting him so badly. This lad is one of the best strikers in the world and i love his work rate and tenacity.Makes no sense why Le Arse let him leave fucking madness.Takes Utd’s attack to a whole new level,if he stays fit is going to rank as one of the best signings ever
Listening to talksport today it’s quickly becoming a fact Wenger has said RVP turned down 300k a week to play for the whores, this moves him up so much in my books
A bit harsh, wayne, but I guess I can attempt to have a civil conversation with you. I don’t pick on kids. If you’ve read my comments on here before, you wouldn’t make this absurd statement. I’m a big proponent of playing youth. I’ve been against Scholes/Giggs continuing to play vs playing youth.
At the same time, some one either “has it” or not. In a united shirt, I would not want to see us wait 5 years to make that decision, let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
You just said yourself what you heard on the radio, that Sturridge is not good enough to lead the line for Chelsea – he’s barely 2 years older than Wellbeck. .
Like the article accurately pointed out, some one who makes mistakes, but makes the right calls most of the time, has the potential.
There are many other aspects of his game besides finishing that are lacking in Danny’s game imo (which I’ve also listed here on many occasions – and I’m not the only one to do that – so I guess there are a lot of cunts on here)
Sometimes I actually think it would be advantages to see if he could excel in another position.
was just thinking too, say wooton (whom just to be clear I was very excited to see play along kean midweek) was a regular starter in our first 11, despite working his socks off, kept making the same mistake he made against chelsea with the back header for sturridge to finish, would you make the same argument you’re making with Wellbeck? In 5 years he’ll be (hopefully) a GREAT defender, let’s just let him play .. no, you wouldn’t. you’d be less forgiving because the negative impact would be immediate and obvious to see.
Formation for Arsenal? Can’t wait for the game and to see how we line up.
“It had been generally assumed that the Manchester United manager would stick with the midfield diamond that worked so well in their previous away game at Newcastle United. That kind of solidity seemed the best way to go against a Chelsea side that tends to flood the middle ground.
Yet Ferguson put his trust in Antonio Valencia and the returning Ashley Young, presumably in an effort to pin back Chelsea’s full-backs, whilst Wayne Rooney dropped off to help Michael Carrick and Tom Cleverley.
It will be interesting, then, to see what United do today against an Arsenal side that also likes to build through the centre. Back to the diamond?”
Adam you’ve been on Danny’s ass forever and 2yrs is a lifetime for a footballer. We’ve given Nani 6yrs and you’re still a fan of his, although he pouts like a little baby, runs to the press at the slightest chance, wants a 40% pay raise without doing fuck all, can’t be trusted in big games, his work rate is non existent and maybe 1 in 4 to 5 games gives the fans a tease.
Don’t think it’s harsh getting onto boo boys before giving the lad a chance,as far as i’m concerned Danny has made great progress since his loan spell which is 2yrs so see no reason why he won’t continue to improve
I’m not that civil there’s a lot of plastics, wum.trolls and fuckwits on ROM being trying to tone it down but that’s not me so decided to go back to my congenial self.Any so called Utd fan picking on Danny who has bags of potential and is a true Red,is a cunt yeah and like you i’ll never have a issue with Giggs and Scholes true Utd legends, fuck all to do with age,Giggs was MOM the other night and Scholes has been performing at a high level all season.Makes me fucking laugh fans knowing better than Sir Alex and his staff, that’s the reason most of the negative cunts are tossing it off in a dead end job and playing fucking FIFA12 or Football Manager because their so fucking knowledgeable
I’m a fan of Nanis? since when?
Also, I don’t know what FIFA12 or Football Manager is..
“Giggs and Scholes true Utd legends” you got that part right, but that’s about it..
@Fletch.. was fearing that with Vidic.. shit. Hope to see him back asap although it’s worrying to think this could be an ongoing problem.
Oh I see so you decided to use that analogy just to attack Danny, well if you don’t think Giggs had a fantastic game the other night or Scholes has been playing well all year no much to say is there
lol..
Manchester United vs Arsenal preview – Ferguson: Van Persie deserves respect http://t.co/fSaMrfpq
Come on you reds!!!!!
@ Proverb
I hope it won’t be too hostile of a reception for RVP tomorrow, and good to see Arsene’s comment regarding tomorrow’s match “I hope it is a respectful one because he did very well for us [for eight years],” This win would be set us up well, as I hope Chelsea may have a problem at Swansea.
@wayne – this is an internet blog about football, where people are encouraged to post their opinions, reviews, impressions, suggestions, and thoughts about our club. Just because someone doesn’t live in wayne’s world and hasn’t been converted to your way of thinking doesn’t make them a cunt. No wonder there are so many people posting once with the first sentence starting with ” long time reader, first time poster” only to be called a cunt and such for expressing a different point of view by someone like you and never to be head from again.

Match preview
Great read, take a look you won’t regret
Adam yeah heard it all before for years, what makes me laugh its the same line cunts, trolls, fuckwits, wums can come on and take shots but as soon as they get challenged turn into whiney bitches.Say what the fuck you want but i have every right to say what i want as well.Don’t like it go suck mummy’s tit.It is a blog and as i’ve stated many times before, not here to make friends fucking hate plastic phony Reds or trolls just looking to score points with whatever nerdy group they belong to,or some fucking loser who supports a different team but pretends to be a Red to cause trouble. So you want to take shots at Utd players and pretend to be a concerned Red go ahead in my book you’re a cunt
This isn’t wayne’s world it’s STR world, untill he finds me distasteful and boots me off,too fucking bad,i’m here to stay
I love this paragraph : “However, you would have thought it would be inconceivable that an England captain would racially abuse an opponent on the pitch too, before John Terry did it, so anything is possible. Whilst it seems highly unlikely that a referee would say the things he’s been accused of, the situation has to be investigated appropriately and the truth needs to come out.”
And this paragraph was written after the esteemed England Captain had bonked his teammate’s gal. How then can his character be compared to any decent man on the street let alone a referee?
What an idiot to write this, don’t you think?
Di Matteo now says referees favour us. Lets see if the FA has the balls to ban him.
Taken from The Sun :
Di Matteo is hoping referees will not be affected by the Clattenburg allegations when they take charge of Chelsea matches.
He added: “I really hope not. I believe that they won’t, that’s my belief.
“We have faith in the referees, they are people who are under a lot of pressure, they are human beings like everyone else.
“You have to try your best but sometimes mistakes can happen.”
________
Unbelieveable guy. He said “WE HAVE FAITH IN THE REFEREES.”
Can someone PLEASE tell him Clattenburg is also a referee.
Proverb
Agreed on that article.Great piece btw.

According to the Sun, ref threaten to boycott Chelsea game. http://dululainsekaranglain.com/english/no-more-refs-at-chelsea-game
“*ROBIN’S SETTLED SWIFTLY*
*Robin van Persie’s fine start to life at United owes much to his seamless integration into the club’s dressing room dynamic, according to Rio Ferdinand.*
Speaking to _United Review_, the veteran defender admitted the Reds’ top scorer has quickly adapted to life with his new colleagues after joining from Arsenal last summer.
“He’s done really well,” said Rio. “He’s come in with no airs and graces about him – that’s the first thing you notice. He’s come into a really down-to-earth changing room; there’s no way anybody could come in as the big ‘I am’ and that’s definitely not in his make-up.
“He’s a really nice guy. The best way you can settle in at a new club is to get on with the other lads and he’s done that straight away. Going on from that, you’ve obviously got to be able to put your foot on the ball and put the ball in the back of the net, and you can’t ask him to have done any more than he has.”
Having notched nine goals and four assists in his 12 United appearances so far, van Persie is likely to face his former employers for the first time on Saturday, and the manner in which Arsenal supporters will react to their former idol remains unclear.
While a potentially disconcerting ordeal, Ferdinand – armed with his own experiences of facing West Ham and Leeds – feels the Dutchman can rise above the pre-match hype surrounding his part in proceedings.
“It is hard,” he admitted. “But Robin’s experienced enough to put it to one side, get on with it and play the game. You just have to treat it like any other game. That’s the difficult thing: trying to make it normal when everyone around is trying to make it into something it isn’t.”

SILVESTRE EXPECTS ARSENAL TO ATTACK*
*_Mikael Silvestre has spoken to Red View ahead of the match between two of his former clubs. The Frenchman is currently training with United.._*
*How do you expect Arsenal to **approach Saturday’s game at Old Trafford?
*Arsenal won’t sit back and defend – that’s not their philosophy. They’ll come here and try to play their passing game, the same way they do every week. They’ve had a little trouble creating opportunities in the league recently so they’ll have to overcome that because you don’t win games at Old Trafford by being shy in front of goal. This is the time when the players have to step up and take responsibility.
*What was it like coming to Old Trafford and playing against United as an Arsenal player?*
It was weird because I knew when I walked into the stadium that I was now the enemy. When I signed for Arsenal, I didn’t feel I was an enemy of the club, but when I was sat in the away dressing room I definitely did because I knew what it was like to be in the United dressing room and I knew how much they wanted to beat us! On a personal level, though, it was a pleasure to be back at Old Trafford.
*One defender who’s really impressed this season is Jonny Evans…
*Jonny’s done well. Nemanja Vidic’s injury has given him the chance to play regularly and he’s made the most of the opportunity. He’s playing well and he’s even scoring a few goals now. When I was at United, Jonny was just starting to train with the first-team and play the odd game. Even then you could see he had the qualities and the attributes to be a top defender. The thing that impressed me most was his composure on the ball. He never panics and that’s important at the back”
Rio couldn’t of said it better, robin has been fantastic so far in his united career. 4 – 9 assists and goals in 12 its tremendous you could not ask for more, he brought that clinical side to our game chicha first touch you can really see has improved the goal he scored in mid week sums that up, his hold up, interplay has improved too, his all round game actually has come to life after the introduction of the dutch free scoring machine hopefully they are learning something from him
Welbz will improve, even though he doesn’t score much this days but he does contribute a lot to the team
His work rate is second to note and I wouldn’t be surprised if he started against arsenal today cause his work ethic will be required against a strong arsenal midfield
The team that wouldn’t die — get scholes on for ando in the second half when ando tires.. then control and close off the game !!
not sure thats what fergie would do though.. he might start with 3 in the middle to dominate possession early on..
Rohan19
I would start with tom Cleverly. He has been playing some real good football. And more importantly Kid is improving with each game. Would be unfair on his part if he is dropped.
I am very surprised that some are talking shit about Welbeck. He is our future. If he sorts out his finsihing we have a goal machine. RVP in his early days scored very few goals. Look at him now. Some players learn and improve as they grow. There were many who said Hernandez is not United quality in September , look at him now. We have 4 quality striker and that is the USP of our team.
Adam says:
The reason why that article is not descriptive of Welbeck is coz he’s young and hasn’t had the time and opportunities that Nani has.
After 4 years with no improvement in the areas mentioned (actually just the finishing and tripping over every time) then we can lump him up with Nani and say he’s a failed sport.
Nani’s time is up’ but sturridge and welbeck still have time on their side.
Just noticed that Scholes hasn’t started the last 4 games. I think we will definitely see him start today. Hope I am wrong. Last Sunday’s front 6 should so just fine.
Costas
I was expecting scholes to start in the league cup but after seeing the performance of ando I feel Sir alex will be tempted to start with ando. S
Costas
I was expecting scholes to start in the league cup but after seeing the performance of ando I feel Sir alex will be tempted to start with ando. Scholes can come in the second half as an impact sub. The less he plays the better for him and better for us.
Match day . Fucking get in
Costas
Yup,scholes is almost a dead cert. And a small heart attack teaser, i bet Nani starts today too. oooh i can almost hear the hyperventilating. hahaha
Love to see danny start along side Rooney and the dutch maestro. His directness is great to see and relieves pressure, doesnt tire easily too. No reason we cant stretch Le Arse with this front 3. All 3 can take turns leading the line and supporting from the left, right and coming from deep. Roo played of the shoulder of defenders a couple of seasons ago and he got his best tally ever. Here’s hoping he’s woken up from his Stamford bridge sleep.
Proverb
WTF man, chill out.I apologised to you and you still pilloring me?
I apologised to ROM and you still make me the pariah?
If you notice,i’ve been very calculated of late and want to talk football only.So why the vilification?I can understand that may be you never read my apologies but stop with the abuse.
I dont care the scoreline today, but the three points will do me a world of good.Seeing as we play Braga in midweek,we should try and get some early goals and see the game out.Cazorla is the wildcard in this Arsenal side as most of their penetration comes off him so i think the lads willl try and nullify his threats.
Come on United!!!!
IMO Scholes should not start the game, rather brought in to settle proceedings if we are leading at the hour mark. You can only underestimate Arsenal at your own peril.Wenger is also adept at tactics and having battled United for years on end,has a game plan against us.No taking chances today, get the three points and we can have a sigh of relief coz while i understand there are no easy games in the premier league,we have done the hardest part the upcoming fixtures are “winnable” if there is a word like that
Wazza has a tremendous record against Gunners.I’d wager he will score today because he is only a goal away from topping Henry who leads in the most goals scored between the two clubs.
It will be interesting to see how RVP approaches this one. Will he celebrate if he scores? We shall see.
I fully expect some dimwits to try and boo him but i know he will rise to the occasion.
Just love early kickoff on a sat. Buzzing bout 2day.Hope ando starts c,mon united!! 1love lads..
@Ash
I heard Fergie say he was tempted about playing Anderson today. I am a bit sceptical to be honest. The Chelsea game was 2 and a half days ago and I am not sure how much he will last today. If I had a choice, I’d use Anderson and Scholes in the manner you suggested. But for all we know, Fergie might want to stick with last week’s midfield anyway.
@slim
At this point, Nani starting would shock me more than Bebe starting.
Unless of course Fergie’s secret plan was to lit a fire under his ass ahead of this game.
Half fit Anderson > all our other midfielders
C’MON YOU FUCKING GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah a bell end has joined us. Welcome, feel free to discuss your 8 years of winning absolutely fuck all while paying £100+ a ticket for the privilege..
I would bee surprised to see nani start… However a couple of years back when he was being doubted all round a game against arsenal xhanged everthing for him..
Ash– true. Hard to see hoe ando could be fit for today, he tired after 70 mins 3 days baack
Chris — common you ex gunner would be better put..
Happy Match Day Reds!
