    Manchester United midfielder to be sent home after one game of year-loan

    Rodrigo Possebon, Manchester United’s 20-year-old Brazilian-born midfielder, faces the humiliation of being sent back to England only two months into his year-long loan arrangement with the Portuguese club Braga.

    Possebon, who broke into the United first team early last season before being injured in a red-card tackle by Middlesbrough’s Emanuel Pogatetz, has played only one match so far for Braga, a Europa League qualifying tie against the Swedish team Elfsborg, and was so poor that the coach, Domingos Paciência, substituted him 34 minutes into a 2-0 defeat.

    The teenager, an Italy Under-20 international after qualifying through his father, has been shunned ever since and Paciência has made it clear that he has no future role to play in the team. Braga have subsequently spoken to United about whether it is possible to send him back although the midfielder’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is against the move.

    Gotta hate – Not sure if it is true mate. Someone on here the other day said he had a huge row with the manager and he was getting some good reviews pre season.

    king eric
    if he’s playing good stuff
    and he’s getting sent back to united
    then send him first class
    i really like this kid

  7. theboogeyman says:

    First off,I don’t think that a manager can tell if a player is good or bad within 34 minutes.I think the rumour that he fell out with the manager is more plausible,the one that King Eric posted here and someone else posted a few topics ago.

  8. Sketch says:

    Fuck them, he is a good lad.He gets to play 34 mins ONLY and apparently not good enough. He doesnt deserve to be treated like that. If they dont want him theres always a space for him at united. He can play in the carling cup and anyway this way we have more options in the middle.

    @andre_k
    I dont read Daily mail any more its utter wank. I dont think i remember ONE article written about united that was not dissing the club, the manage or the players some way.

  9. jandsdad says:

    I remember that Cantona volley. Absolute class
