what if you finish the season in 5 or 6 will does players stil wants to come to ur club? in a world cup year? and can you afford the prize of both the Agents and the Clubs?

  3. sir matt martin says:

And i heard Real madrid are in too for the signing of Ikay Gundogan. so u clearly knw the club he is clearly going to chuse.

  4. Tommy says:

Sky Sports have said that AC Milan believe they are in talks with United about signing Nani, they will have more information soon!

I know all of you mates know your football. But some comments by some on here surprise me. We all love the Mata signing because of the psychological impact it has have on the team. Not because he’s basically what we needed. His position(CAM/SS) is the least of our worries i.e if Moyes is still going to use his 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2.
Any astute football fan will know that Cabaye or Dembele is more likely to improve our performance than even Kroos who is a big name. We all love big name signings, but Moyes should be scouting to fill the kinks in our team, than just going in for big name signings. Ronaldo wasnt proven before he came here. Vidal was like Cabaye at Leverkusen, and now he is one of the best CMs in the game. So Moyes should cut the crap with waiting for a world-class player to come on the market before he acts. Then they should dissolve the scouting department because every lay person knows the top players in the world, if those are the only players he’ll be going in for.
If RVP and Roo dont go on a scoring spree I really dont see us entering the top5.

I even forgot Strootman. He and Herrera would have fit perfectly in our setup. We need well-balanced players in the CM role; technical, grit, tactical, mental.

People who say if we finished outside the top 4, no top player would come in. What do you have to say about Konstantinos swapping Olympiacos for Fulham?

  12. Fletch™ says:

Fabio to Cardiff. That’s me done in.

    Sinking in…….. :( Sniff !

56 games and he won the League!

  13. Gary Mitrovic says:

Look finishing outside the top 4 will be a disaster because at the start of the season that was the very least that should have been expected. It will make it harder to get the targets but not impossible. Players will want to play in the premiership and for Manchester United without a doubt. Luis Suarez signed for Liverpool when he had guaranteed champions league football at Ajax. Big deals can be done.

  14. NBI Red 21 says:

@ Kwesi – agree with you, spot on.

    A sad goodbye to Fabio.

  15. sir matt martin says:

leting fabio go just like that witout, giving him the playing time that he deserve. was a big mistake by Moyes.

  16. sir matt martin says:

Too bad for this club.. no dead line day signings!!!!

  17. Jackie Spain says:

@sir matt: Why are you attacking Moyes over not playing Fabio when SAF only played him in 21 PL games (and a lot of those as sub) in 4 seasons? There is obviously a flaw in his play for both SAF and Moyes to not use him.

When Moyes did give him a game Fabio managed to get himself red carded for a stupid tackle.

  18. Fletch™ says:

    Silly Season updates:

Tony Kroos: Agent says he was never moving, always about the money !
Fernando: Dan Taylor says source a United said we were never interested but could be down to price as well.

Nani moving on loan: Can’t see it happening if not getting a decent player coming the other way. Italian clubs struggling to match the wages.

  19. michake says:

No sympathy for Fabio , he got his opportunity to play recently and got sent off straight away. He is a hot headed little fucker and doesn’t have the temperament to play for Manchester United .

  20. sir matt martin says:

    @ Jackie Spain
U right about dat of sir alex. but that was the mistake sir alex. made sending him to qpa, when he should be an understudy to evra insted he went to get Buttner who is clearly not better than fabio for me. what ever happnd to if a new manager comes in and give u ur chance, but fabio was clearly not giving the time he would have like to prove him self. remenber he got a goal for united this season.

    Man United Loan deals:
    Done:
    Anderson (Fiorentina)
    Barmby (HFFC)

    So far Today:
    Zaha (Cardiff)
    Thorpe & Blackett (BCFC)
    Ekangamene & Byrne (Carlisle)
    W Keane (QPR)
    Lawrence (Yeovil)
    Tunnicliffe + Cole (Fulham)

  22. sir matt martin says:

    @Fletch
    Nice info mate thanks.

  23. Fletch™ says:

Federico Macheda on loan to Birmingham city (joining Thorpe and Blackett).

That should be it for Macheda, best remembered for that incredible goal against Aston Villa.
    Contract up June 30.

  24. Fletch™ says:

    Sir Matt, Cheers mate.

Still not clear on Tunnicliffe + Cole (Fulham). A Guardian lad said it was a loan,
but some cottagers seem convinced it is a sale. Club havn’t confirmed it either way. Stay tuned

  25. WeAreUnitedd says:

    @fletch

hopefully it’s loans, because you never know. A player like Larnell Cole has alot of skills and if he can improve there and play at top level, then welcome back!

A LOT of loans from us, wow.

  26. KwesiOwusuJnr says:

have a feeling Tunnicliffe will be a hit in the EPL. Hardman CM role …Schneiderlin kinda.

  27. Tommy says:

Tunnicliffe has signed permantly, still waiting to hear news on Cole on whether its a loan or permantly!

  28. The_red_devils says:

@ sir matt, cabella and everton ribero are both attacking midfielders like Mata, so why u want them?..bayern r going for treble again, why would they sell a player in january who have most apperance among outfield players and whom they rate highly??…gundogan is injured since start of season, he won’t have contributed much even we have signed him…porto said they won’t sell fernando, they would keep him with the reserves until end of season and let him go for free instead of selling..herrrera’s release clause is too high for a player who hasn’t provedd himself in top level…spurs r competing with us for 4th spot and u think they would sell us dembele in mid season…

  29. evered7 says:

Seems like a lot of fans want Moyes to fail than hope for the club to succeed, simply to justify their opinion.

I haven’t followed Everton a lot but I do remember them playing some good football in the recent years.

Moyes wasn’t chosen by a lucky draw. He may have not won trophies but he sure is working hard to make the club progress and also succeed himself. The man has a very big task on his hand. It will take time to come to fruition. It will be frustrating but it will be a lot sweeter when we succeed eventually.

For all the hue and cry, we are 6 points behind Liverpool who are supposedly having their best season in years. We need some momentum and a little luck to forge ahead.

Believe in the club and support the manager. The trophies will arrive soon.
