Long time reader , first time commentator.

Roy Keane is a laughing stock . For him to come out and say that the players should be ashamed of them selves is a joke in the highest order.

@Blacksnake88 — I’ve criticized plenty of what Keane has said in the past but sometimes he is completely right and in this case, he’s right. They played with a complete lack of effort for more than half of the season. They’d never have been as indifferent for alex ferguson because he’d leather a fucking boot off them or kick them out the fucking door. Notice in Moyes’ statement he thanks Sir Alex, he thanks the coaches, and he thanks the fans.. not a word about the players he managed, which was his way of letting them know how he feels. He didn’t say anything.. his silence on them will be enough for them to get the message.

To be fair, some of the players were brave enough at different times of the season to admit it was as much their fault what was happening.

I’m not too convinced on van Gaal yet, but one thing is very likely.. he’ll set any bad attitudes straight very quickly, or he’ll kick players out if he cant do it.
