I defy any true United supporter to not say “thanks CR7 and Viva Ronaldo” after watching the scrawny spagetti head teenager make his debut at Bolton and go one to score over100 great goals for us.

Compare those comments with Tevez’s.
I was never Ronaldo’s biggest fan, his play acting, his arrogance, his whining, and his greed and lack of work ethic took the shine off his brilliance, and lets be honest he has been the worlds best( along with Messi) foe the past 2 years.
But he was at least honest in that from day 1 he said he wanted to play in Spain at some point in his career and he dreamed of playing for Madrid, the club he’d supported as a boy. I’m sure if super Gaz Neville had started his career at some other club he would still have wanted to sign for us at some point, so we shouldn’t hate a player for wanting to play for the club of his boyhood dreams.
But he has no reason now to make these comments about United or Fergie, yet he has; that shows the decision to leave us wasn’t as easy as some have made out.
I’ll not personally miss you much Cristiano, but respect for the comments mate.
Ps, any chance we could tempt Keano out of retirement just to do a ‘Haaland’ on Tevez when we play Citeh next season? Its fair to say I’d enjoy that, very much.

Most of these negative comments just confirm for me that people will believe whatever they chose to believe no matter what anyone actually says.

Ronaldo had no reason whatsoever to go to any lengths to appase United fans. Can anyone truely say that we would have one any of the titles we have over the last three without him? So that plus 80m I’d say puts him in pretty good credit with us.Yet, here’s a guy who says “I can never repay SAF for all that he taught me on and off the field”. Remember, we chose to sell him rather than try to compete with Madrid over a new contract.

If you can’t say thanks CR7 and sing VIVA RONALDO for me your not UNITED.
