Ramon Calderon, the former Real Madrid president that we all hated a few years ago for his unrelenting pursual of Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed that he wouldn’t be surprised if the player made a return to Manchester United.

Ronaldo has reportedly told the Spanish club he is ready to leave after being accused of tax evasion. Believing he is an unfair target, he’s decided enough is enough, and has decided his future lies elsewhere.

Calderon has claimed that United is a club in the player’s heart and that his love for the fans might see him come back to Old Trafford.

I remember when I signed Cristiano, he phoned me and said everyone at Manchester United was really happy and kind to him. Sir Alex Ferguson was like a father and he loved the fans. The club has been very important in his career. Manchester United is a club he has in his heart.
