Ronaldo: My Heart Is At United So I’d Never Join City

Ahead of our Champions League game against Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled out any chance of him playing for Manchester City, claiming that his heart is at United.

“To play for City not United? I’m not going to do that. Why? Because my heart’s in Manchester United, that’s why,” he said. “I can say it would be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very difficult to play at Manchester City. Very difficult because of Manchester United.”

Ha, I’m sure it will get even tougher tonight once rafa the lad stamps at your feet

  2. RooneysMiddleFinger says:

Cristiano ‘Only God Knows’ Ronaldo being the diplomat he is yet again, keeping all options open.
After a move to United: “My heart has always been here”
After a move to city: “It was a very, very, very, very difficult decision to make, but I think I’ve made the right one”

    He’s still a legend though

  3. wazza says:

    Once a RED
    Always a RED
    hope u make a comeback.

  4. iced earth says:

i think he will be a threat from free kick s
    rafa will shut him

  5. Hans says:

Let’s hope he means it and does not change his mind when sheiks flash their filthy money in front of him!!!!!

  6. Proverb says:

    The fucker is a monster
But then again I haven’t seen a fast and furious defender before rafa, so I guess the red card he received while marking the monster in ribery serves as a lesson

  7. Proverb says:

I guess carrick will have to be at his potent best concentration wise unless he gives away free early valentines gifts to the virus

I stll shackle when carrick assays a long range spot

  8. samuel - united WE stand says:

Bullshit, he will do everything to keep united’s name sweet until he gets on that pitch. There’s a lot of “very” going on there, maybe if the money was right as is the case with most players.

  9. FletchTHEMAN says:

Enough of this Mr Niceguy stuff Cristiano. Patty Evra and a certain Mr Jones will sort you out son…..

Hope the stud marks come out of your back sides…….. well…… in a couple of weeks anyrate!

Cheers son! Ya alright? Ha ;)

  10. Dom says:

Why say “very very very (blah blah) difficult”? It’s football talk for “show me the money and I’m in”.

  11. Proverb says:

He keeps on moaning like a baby
I thought he was unhappy at the bernabeu, stop this yada yada bulshit
Remember no love lost but tonight you better prepare cause we not gonna give you any breathing space there will be no sympathy

  12. iced earth says:

Michael Owen believes Real Madrid will struggle to cope with Robin van Persie and Wayne rooney

Owen said on Twitter: ‘Can’t wait for tonight’s game. An away goal for United is vital and with their fire power I can’t see Madrid keeping them out.

  13. Dela says:

@iced earth –> Yep I feel the same way. Away goal is vital and if we can’t get it with RvP and with Rooney in top scoring form, I’ll be very surprised!

  14. Proverb says:

Just stick the fat brazilian in there, he’s the only player who is able to carry the ball from defence aswel as create chances for himself, we desperately need such decisive players short passing will be hugely ineffective in todays encounter

  15. iced earth says:

even if we don t get a result i don t care
the most important thing this year is to bring epl trophy back
    2-3 to us
    rooney motm

  16. Red4ever says:

Yup he is trying to get back at united coz messi humiliated him in last 4 years and he wants to end this humiliation and I think if he dos’nt sign new contract then we can buy him cheap in his last year in contract ,,hope rafa kicks his ass so hard that his white shitty jearsy becomes red coz thats what its colour should be red

  17. UnitedFaithful says:

He will have his say in the game but we won’t be silent either.

  18. WeAreUnited says:

sometimes, some people disgust me, and some of our supporters have double standards on some players.

This certain Cristiano Ronaldo who led our team on fire and brough to us a lot of glory is talking only good words about us, and it’s not only before this game, but even before, and some people bash him and say he’s not genuine???

PLEASE. yes money talks, btu at the moment he’s sayign he would never join other team than United in the PL and you say, he’s not genuine???

  19. Red4ever says:

Yup I can say im proud of ronnie he is showing respect to our team he is my hero really liked his comment on not going to shitty but really broke my heart when he left but its the past ,,,,but I think he is going to play against us try and beat the shit out of our team thats why till this tie is over we can’t show him a lot of respect

  20. WeAreUnited says:

    @red4ever

yeah exaclty, after all he did everything for us.

now he’s only talking good about us, he’s not bashign us, and people complain about that hahah funny.

If he’d went to city well my respect would be gone, but he’s on the madrid shirt and loving us. what’s the matter? how do you know he’s not being genuine?

anyway, let’s keep him quiet and show him his biggest mistake in his life :=)

  21. Marq says:

When on the pitch, nobody will care what he says, when off it, theres every reason to applaud him. He did help us enormously for our CL win, so although he sulked his way through the last season, you can see his effort on the pitch

  22. Red4ever says:

I bet it will be a hell of an task for young rafa to stop ronnie but if I had to chose between current full backs in the world rafa is the only one who can be better than dani alves and he couldnt stop him so I think if rafa does his job today he will achieve greatness wish my best to rafa do good today mate we trust you

  23. TheCANTONA says:

Imagine Ronaldo in city shirt really makes me ill. Hope he could keep this promise, but why does he want to tarnish his legacy to play with city? I mean another top level players like Kaka, Messi, Dinho & RvP all of them had rejected city.

  24. Andromeda says:

Right now the only thing in my mind is Manchester United!!
No further distraction by Ronaldo’s speech.

  25. King Eric says:

Yawn. Yeah your hearts in Manchester that much you couldn’t wait to fucking leave.

  26. King Eric says:

“very very very very difficult” Yeah but not impossible eh?

  27. King Eric says:

WeAreUnited – Talk is cheap pal. Slinging his fucking tracky top at Albert the kitman, hissy fits in his last season. Fuck him. Will always appreciate what he did for United but that’s where it ends.

  28. evisu says:

People seem to forget Real got other players too, so much focus on Ronaldo. Wich is of course expected from the history, but they got a lot of other talent that could tear us apart.

  29. Red4ever says:

I hope he comes back where his heart is coz this where he really belongs

  30. Costas says:

    Yeah but “only God knows”…

  31. WeAreUnited says:

    KingEric

I know talk is cheap, but how do you know he’s only talking cheaply?

When some our former players praise our team, people get orgasms, and when one of our best players of all time talks good, it’s suddenly a bad thing, and he’s pretending?

anyway. Let’s agree to disagree. United is where we stand and that’s the only way, players come and players go.

  32. slim says:

    KE

Three words as per your posts on Ronaldo
    Voice of reason.
Cant undetstand why fans expect us to stick our tongues all up his ass.
Be nice to him? What for ?.
We may be a fickle bunch but we respect what he did for us, thsts where it ends. It not carte blance to spend the evening rimming the fella.
Not to disappointed with the ass kissing mind you i expected it to be a whole lot worse.

Hows your boy mate. He must be all grown now. Time really does fly.
Two hrs to go. Cant wait
