I have always been of the opinion it didn’t matter, I’m a United fan first, then England so I couldn’t care less. However, what the article should really be talking about is not why Ronaldo did what he did but why he has responded to a question again which is asked only to stir up a bit of controversy. ‘I don’t like manchester’, ‘I’d do it again’….etc etc I’m gettin really fuckin sick of Ronaldo’s little leaked comments, sounds like he’s angling for a move at the end of this year and placating us in the mean time with comments like I’ve always given 100% for the shirt. As a human being and one with no allegiance to the premiership I really don’t blame Ronaldo for wanting to try different things in his football career, regardless if Real Madrid are better or not. So let’s all just accept he’s going to be off at the end of this season, support him whilst he’s here but give up trying to qualify another one of his ridiculous little statements.

What i Remember most of that incident was how well Rooney stayed up , being constantly fouled , and not being supported by the REF. The rest became a farce !

i think ronaldo was right to do that. no one wants to be defeted so why he should think against his willing. he should play at full will. so it was right.
but the mass medias are trying to access a ceack to bring rooney and ronie fight. but they will not. keep on craking

I find it really hard to accept, I know i’d have done the same if I was playing for England and a club team mate did it to a fellow player, i’d have gone and had a word but the fact that it happened to Rooney and England, who i’m a keen supporter of, it annoys me. Saying that, i’ve never had anything against Ronaldo after it, I still knew the value of him to our club and United > England.

World Cup or European Cup for that matter players must not treat their fellow clubs members differently. Yes you would fight for your country during war but football is only a game for entertainment just like any other sports and if you win of course your country will be proud of you.Sad to said that the country did not train or provide your paycheck but it is your club that makes you what you are and if players got injured the club suffers not the country.Players must not allow their egos to distroy their fellow club members when representing their country after all they have to turn to their respective clubs to take care when injured and the country will do nothing about it.
