will they put a statue of him outside old trafford now????????????

Well done, but he should try to be a bit modest and stop showing off. That way he will follow these legends around him(Charlton and Law) and may become like Cantona.

@ gotta hate tiny tears: LOL, looks like that.

They make him feel like a god, which is wrong! they shouldn’t compare him to legends from now so he won’t feel that he’s over the top and then remember that he always wanted to play for Barcelona :/

C’mon, he’s the best player in the world and he’s United’s player for the next four years – or maybe much longer. The credit crunch and the Nike connection are going to make it hard for him to find greener pastures elsewhere. Besides, like Bobby Charlton said, he’s capable of winning it several more times; Ronaldo, like Rooney and Tevez, lives to compete. But he’s better than them – and he’s playing with them, too. Really, can it get much better than that ?

I love the fact that Manchester United players have one it 4 times out of 6 for the league. He is not a Legend yet, and may never be, but I hope he does someday. IF he wins it again it will assure him that status. That can’t be denied.
