It's a fact that united fans have to reconcile with. He won't be here forever like Rooney, and I don't think many fans can begrudge him the right to leave after serving the club for more then 5 years. He'll be a legend by then and if United play their card right we should recoup a world record fee for him (somewhere in the region of $100 - $150 million should leave everyone happy...except Madrids bank account). I think SAF has targeted winning this years double and then perhaps another one next year. He has already stated that he wants to own the scum record and once that's done I believe he will call it a day. I hope we sign Ronaldo to an extension so he doesn't leave on the cheap by buying out his contract. in any case, this is good news for those who were worried he would leave this summer, but it doesn't tell us anything new.
