Rooney: I got an unbelievable reaction from the fans

On Monday night, Wayne Rooney played his first game at Old Trafford since Sir Alex Ferguson revealed the striker had asked to leave the club.

Whilst you might have expected the fans to boo him, Rooney was on the end of a brilliant reception from the supporters, with them singing his song and repeatedly chanting his name.

On his Facebook account he posted some pictures from Monday’s game against Chelsea and said: “It was an unbelievable reaction from the fans, so thank you. I really appreciate your support. It means a lot.”

The transfer window closes Monday 11pm. So far united have keep the critics away with there performances. However Liverpool away is always an unpredictable match. If we was to lose this then there will be added pressure on Moyes. This game on Sunday is game United cant afford to lose. But really we need to be coming away with a win against either Liverpool or City. Crystal Palace is also a must. As for Transfers Felliani and Baines would be a steal at 38 million in this current market. There is question marks over Baines but he has been Everton’s most influential player over the last 2 years so it will be great to have him and Evra fighting for a place in the squad.
I still cant help but think Moyes has a wild card up his sleeve before 11pm Monday which will turn heads..

Need Baines more than the Belgian. Evra is good when going forward but is mostly found out against better attacks. Also Baines can take set pieces giving more opportunity for RVP to score headers

Don’t usually comment but I couldn’t bite my lip… Wayne lad you are a complete whopper!

Who the fuck are you to think you can abuse people at will

The beauty of football is about debates and difference of opinion.

Now go get your balls emptied… CUNT!
