Rooney: I Haven’t Scored 4 Goals Since I Was 12!

Wayne Rooney scored all four goals in our victory over Hull yesterday and now races ahead to the top of the goalscorers leaderboard.

Last season’s top scorer was Nicolas Anelka with 19 goals, something Rooney has achieved in January!

“The last time I scored four goals was probably when I was about 12!” said Rooney. “It’s my first time in professional football so I’m obviously delighted. It’s a great feeling to score one goal in the Premier League, so to score four makes me very proud.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Rooney hits 30 goals this season.

  2. Xyth says:

Let’s hope he finds a few more this Tuesday night.

anyone know what the city fans were singing today at the FA cup?? Started of with our song U-N-I-T-E-D….then some shite after.

  5. King Eric says:

jespermoses – No it was Scunny singing UNITED mate. Copying bastards.

I heard those classless cunts singing “Carlos Tevez is a blue he hates MUNICHS”

  6. Costas says:

I think 30 will be a good turn out for Wazza. We have about 20 games left. If he gets to 35, more power to him. It will still be a hell of a season for him.

  7. jespermoses says:

    Nice one Eric cheers

  8. bchilds says:

Well done Wazza, keep it going mate – hope you kept a couple in reserve for Citeh!

  9. Mic says:

King of Old Trafford? I think so! Roooooney! 19 goals in 23 appearances, well on his way to 30 in a single season, incredible. Best striker in the world. Fact.

  10. Dave Mack says:

Great work from Wazza …. which his overall perfomances this season deserved.

What he didn’t desreve was to have each goal quickly followed bt “Glazers Out” chants.

    LU – IFIT

  11. Fze123 says:

If he scores 30 then that will be a great achievement. Hopefully he keeps aiming for that target and focuses on scoring.

In other news, Kia Joorabchian thinks Gary Neville he has no class. I would like to hear his opinion of City fans then..

  12. King Eric says:

Just had 5 live on in my van on way to shop. How fucking dare the Stoke big boys bully the perfect footballers of Arsenal? Get fucked, they were out fought and outplayed for much of the game.

  13. Minhaj say united 4ever, GLAZERS FUK OUT,,,NOW NOW NOW says:

Rooney almost certain to past the 30 goal mark this season,,,my pure guess is 32 (da shirt number last season worn by รค dickhead),, :)

  14. Colbert says:

    King Eric

What did they say? You’re right. Arsenal always have an excuse when they lose.

  15. reder1k says:

Score another 4 on Wednesday night Wayner and you can have a lifesize statue mate.
Of course the Lager Cup is a nothing comp and who cares about it, I don’t, but cutting the Bitters down to size, that’s a diferent matter.
I think it’s going to be a hard and dirty game though and the bastard in the black needs to keep an eye on DeJong and Zabaleta, those two are assassins and we don’t have a Keano any longer.

  16. TonyBee says:

rederk1k…spot on , the ref last week was very week I thought let go a number of fouls, particularly one from that little cunt Bellendamy, still lets hope that Wazza can bang in another couple on Tuesday evening and Nev kicks shit out of that Argentinian prick

  17. King Eric says:

Colbert – That Gabriele Marcotti was saying they are all just long throws and don’t play proper full backs. Durham the other day was saying they are a disgrace and anti football.

  18. john ferry says:

No one yell at me, but Nani had a decent game.

  19. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    john ferry
ill yell at you about that comment
NANI HAD AN AMAZING GAME ALOT MORE THAN JUST A DECENT GAME

  20. alinaabbamancesterutd says:

Keep it up wazza d head of united !!!

  21. manu4life says:

We need to give him off for city game. arsenal away(EPL) is more important and difficult than city home(CC)

  22. Doghouse says:

Nah, no rest for the wickedly in form. City must be destroyed.

  23. -king-rooney- says:

Rooney will be WPOTY 2010, you heard it here first. He will be a sensation at the world cup, i can feel it and while we have him firing on all cylinders and Nani finally on the right we have a chance at Champions League glory.

  24. cantona7 says:

it’s a big burden, but i know you can do it Rooney!

  25. gravedigga says:

i believe he’ll make it 32 or 33 goals in Prem.
and another goal in this midweek City at home…smash those city bastards Roo!

  26. Dagger says:

Would love to see Torres fit a full season, I think he’s the only real competition Rooney have in PL. But also hope that he stops taking our free-kicks and penalties, so that other teams supporters don`t have any excuses when Rooney gets the top-scorer award.

But next season, even though I can`t stand the guy, I hope that Torres stays fit all season. Because as much as I hate to admit it, Torres is the best striker in the world, but I would love to see him beaten by Rooney next season, IF he stays fit. Then I could honestly say that Rooney is the best striker in the world.

I was born a pessimist, so I don`t think Rooney will reach 30 goals this season, but in next season, I have no doubt that he will.

  27. King Eric says:

Dagger – Very strange way of thinking. You hope our biggest rival’s striker stays fit just to prove that Rooney is better. Rooney is different class to the fucking ladyboy.

  28. King Eric says:

PS You don’t think Rooney will get another 10 goals in the remaining 4 months? Whys that?
