Cant we have him play in that position and see if he does any better?? Carrick has been good for us in the past season and doesnt really deserve the criticism i guess. But his work rate has dipped considerably and the man just doesnt look inspired.

morning mate.no point arguing with manutdchampions2008.i admit we were not anywhere near our best last season but we win the league with more points than in 2008 and that is the bottomline.we were also crowned champions of the world.its about trusting young players and giving them aplatform to deliver at the top level.thats what we do.thats why we are the most followed and supported club in the world.

united were awful last season, truly dreadful and thats a fact and I would rather forget last season because it had very phew enjoyable games. the ironic thing is united fans use to take the piss out of chelsea winning 1 0 and arsenal winning 1 0 and most of the italian teams winning 1 0 oh now united seem to be doing that now. united of 07/08 were far better despite at times ronaldo was at times the one scoring. the football was better the balance of the team was better and united on the counter were better and plus they were crushing the top teams. your forgetting the imbarrasing defeat to an average liverpool side. out played by barcelona in the final only picking up 4 pts against the top teams. and trying to fit a dredful berbatov into the team. there were more negatives then positives if the football and players under performing annd has a team it taints the season.
