Mic - agree with you completely about the dippers fixtures compared to ours but that is just the price we pay I'm afraid of being successful. 2 cups down and still going in all other competitions. I wouldn't want it any other way. What have those cunts left to fight for? Prem I very very much doubt so it just leaves the Champions league.

Denton - I pretty much agree with your line-ups but I really do think he will go with Park or Fletch against Moureen. The midfield 3 of Carrick, Scholsey and Giggsy don't really offer anything tracking back and the last thing we need is to concede. The game will be won and lost in the middle of the park.

i couldnt agree more m8, it really does feel like 99 all over again! 3 games that will define our season. i didnt think we'd do it then either by the way, so i'm not gonna jinx it by sayin we will win em all this time! lol that said, lets hope the lads can pull it off. long way to go but we're still dreamin!

I can't believe how lucky Liverpool are, we go to Fulham on Saturday they don't have a match, then on Tuesday they play Madrid at home having like 6 years rest (acknowledge the sarcasm) while on Wednesday we play Inter at home, then they have to make like a 30 mile trip to OT then they have Villa at home 8 days later whereas we're away to Fulham a week later. It's annoying how they're getting all these extra days rests, they're out every cup in the early rounds bar the CL and get fixtures going their way. What a joke of a club.

I like Revanth's optimism - I share it, too. Who will SAF play ?

It seems to me that VDS, Rio, Evra, Vidic, Ronaldo, Rooney, and Berbatov will feature in all the games. I expect that Jonny Evans will be playing right back against InterMilan and John O'Shea in the other two games.

So, to my way of thinking, the defensive five and the front three are pretty much set in stone. Against InterMilan, the midlfield three will be his strongest, most experienced and well-rested combination of Scholes, Carrick and Giggs I think that SAF will want to try to kill them off rather than strangling them as he did in Milan. And, as someone mentioned in another thread, InterMilan have given up five goals in their last two away games so it seems not unreasonable to assume that they're going to be less dangerous at OldTrafford. Less dangerous than in their toothless display at the San Siro.

The two other guys (Park and Fletcherinho) should be seeing time on Saturday against Fulham and the next weekend against StevieGBH and his scally pals.

Will Tevez get off the bench ? maybe against the RedScousers but at whose expense ?

This coming week is the big one and I believe will be the defining week of the the rest of the season's push for all 5 trophies. Good luck to the lads - it will be interesting to see what teams SAF puts out for each of the 3 games. It will be even more interesting to see how the fat waiter reflects on the dippers chances of the title after we stuff them next week!
