Rooney: We’re The Best Team With The Best Fans In The World

Wayne Rooney scored the winning goal in our 1-0 today against LDU Quito earlier today, making that three goals in two games for our young striker.

He is enjoying our title as Champions of the World, whilst also thanking the fans who travelled all the way to Japan to join in with the team’s success.

“We’re the best team in the world,” said Rooney. “It’s a great achievement for the team and something we’re all really proud of. It’s been a long road. To score the winning goal is a great feeling. We’ve been amazed by the amount of fans over here. So many have travelled from England and there are also thousands here in Japan. We’re the best team in the world and they’re the best fans in the world.”

What can i say to that… … well whos says you cant have “Quality & Quantity”…. The Best Team with The Best Fans… The Most Trophies & The Most Fans”…

Nice one Wazza… might just make a United captain out of you one day young fella.

    Well said Roooooneyyyyy!

he’s right though, smart lad is Wayne

  3. Kings says:

So pleased we won it. That for me carries equal achievements with the dipper cunts winning 5 European Cups.

does anyone else agree with me yes vidic was sent off and may miss the game against inter but Evans seems a top class replacement, but I think that I have always thought for weeks this world club cup tournament is exactly what united needed, a chance to get their mind off the premiership enjoy them selves and their football again recharge the mind and energy batteries and finally get players to recapture their form, when do they play boxing day united got 5 days and now being world champions will give united that new leash of life and say look we are world champions let’s show it.

Yes, TheBoyWonder is quite correct – and didn’t he look happy after slotting in the winner.

One can only wonder how Wayne’s World will spin again when he learns that the scouse failed to defeat TheArse. That means LiverPoo are seven points ahead BUT TheLads have two very winnable games-in-hand.

    A very good day.

Denton: Re: Scousers failing to beat ten men of arsenal I have heard many Dippers fans on radio saying how it was a point gained and how they are building up a fear factor where other teams are scared of them and so on and so on. What the fuck, they are a joke . They cheat and dive but still couldnt pick up three points. It all points to United now.

  12. Nazr says:

    World champions: United 2>Dippers 0

  13. Failsworth Devil says:

Good weekend all in all… wouldnt you all agree lol !!

    king eric
I heard that, if they think that is a way of building a fear factor wow united are shaking in their boots it is the biggest pile of crap I have heard from the scousers to be honnest they always talk crap, while arsenal probably are the weakest they have ever been with 10 men still they could not score and took a long ball to score shows how poor liverpool are at the moment. I have said this united have what I call a monster squad a squad that has got so much depth it is scary, but it need’s to jell and I think the world club cup will recharge the energy batteries and mentally get their eye back on the real job at hand. When you see what liverpool bring in it shows how garbage their squad is, kuyt gerrard keane rierra to start with ngog babel and the other I remember the name that is scaring me to death wake up scousers.

Zlatan better than Ronaldo according to Jose cunt Mourihno!

  16. OTRed says:

I have to say I was quite impressed by the number of fans who travelled to see this game, whether it was deemed unimportant by some or not.

  17. Red-Manc says:

agreed, i think 800 english fans went over they took alot of flags and they could be heard clearly fair play to them they did us proud, it was entertaining listening to all the japanese/asian fans getting so excited by everything ronaldo did, in some ways even though this was basically a money making scheme by fifa i enjoyed this tournament it was just the timing of it that pissed me off

  18. corea says:

looking at the number of game we’ll have to play it looks quite clear that we will play 100% second team in the Carling Cup.
if we pass Derby what side will we play in the final ?
and one more. Carling Cup is so unimportant ? why care about it..

  19. Red-Manc says:

Its good to win any trophy including the Carling Cup, but i agree we should play a team with alot of youth in it like Fabio Possebon Welbeck etc because its a good chance of experience for them and we have our priorities the league and champions league will always come first but i do really love the FA cup aswel, the carling cup is something we should let our youth try and win.

  20. FERGIES ARMY says:

wazza future captain of man united greatest club in the world ws worth getn up at 10am to watch this match :)

  21. EastStandManc says:

Just a shame it wasn’t a bit closer to home really. If 800 fans travelled over then brilliant. From what I read/heard many of the United lot in the stadium were exiled Reds who already lived in Japan.

Let’s hope we can make it to either of the next two CWC’s in Abu Dhabi, at least it’d be a little more affordable and there’d be sun/decent weather!

  22. suhayl says:

When Vida went off…i was a nervous wreck…our club wanted this trophy badly…SAF wanted it badly. So even though yes it may NOT be the premeirship or the champs league….its more medals, more trophies, more phtographs, more for the history books for our club. And i was celebrating just as mad as i was in may.

All our boys deserve so much praise for the way they played. Also great to see and hear THE GREATEST FAN BASE IN THE WORLD SWAMP THE STADIUMS. Thats what man utd is TRULY GLOBAL…400 MILLION FANS WORLDWIDE AND GROWING.

And this last paragraphy is to you you shitty wasteland twats and you diving dipper gerrard…another dive yeaterday to try to get a pen.

We are NOT champions x 1.
We are NOT champions x 2
BUT WE ARE CHAMPIONS X 3.

NOW YOU BITTERS, DIPPERS, RBOYS…..WHO WHICH CLUB HAVE OR HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO SAY THAT AT THE SAME TIME.

    WE ARE THE BEST
