Sad seeing Arsenal's state ? The last time I looked we were still top 4. Yes we lost to teams like Hull, Stoke and Fulham and drew against Spurs which felt like a loss. But dont you worry about us - we are going to be there gunning for the title as much as any of the other 3. This one will go to the wire because for the first time there are no walkover teams in premiership. Having said all this, I still think Man U will win the title because you have played all top 3 away from home and I dont think Man City will do a double on you this year.

Kind of sad seeing Arsenal in the state they're in...
Heres hoping you finish above the rentboyz and the dippers and go on a winning run...after tomorrow that is...

I'm afraid I have to disagree with the comments made by RedDevil. Whilst Manchester United were very unlucky not to win the F.A. Cup in 2005, the same cannot be said for the game at Old Trafford in September 2006 where Arsenal won 1-0 with Adebayor scoring the winner. In that match, Arsenal were dominant in the first half, missing a penalty and several good chances. It was no surprise that they went on to win the game.

The return match at the Emirates in February 2007 was one that no team really deserved to win. The idea that Manchester United were unlucky not to win is rather silly. Manchester United went ahead early in the second half with a Rooney header at the far post after an even and uneventful first half. Arsenal responded well to going behind and created several chances before Van Persie deservedly equalised. Manchester United can, however, consider themselves unfortunate not to come away with a point; Henry's late header was cruel.

In November 2007, Arsenal and Manchester United played out a 2-2 draw. Some may say that Manchester United were unlucky not to win because William Gallas's equaliser came in the dying seconds, however, I would say that a draw was a fair result given the balance of play. Both of Manchester United's goals were scored at times when Arsenal were dominant i.e. against the run of play.

One can have no argument with the result of the F.A. Cup fifth round match at Old Trafford. Arsenal were truly woeful and Manchester United deserved to win 4-0, if not by a greater margin.

One can argue that Manchester United were lucky to beat Arsenal 2-1 at Old Trafford despite Adebayor's opener being a handball not spotted by the referee. Alex Ferguson admitted himself that Arsenal were unfortunate not to get a point from the game. The free kick resulting in the winning goal was soft to say the least.

I take it that when RedDevil mentions the game at Highbury, he was referring to the 0-0 draw of January 2006. This was another tight game in which neither side deserved to win. In the first half Arsenal were dominant whilst Manchester United had the better of the second.

The comments by Rooney strike me as an example of 'mind games'. I really don't think Manchester United have much to worry about given that current state of the Arsenal team; the poorest since George Graham's side of 1994/1995, which finished twelfth in the Premiership (6 points off relegation). I predict a 3-1 victory for Manchester United.

RedDevil Spot on. blimey the 05 cup final was the most 1 sided game in the history of football.....how we didnt win that 10-0 let alone then to lose it on their flukey scabby pens win..i just do not know...still having bloody nghtmares about it.

Past 2 seasons..again we ve been better and in winning positions only to somehow let slip in the final mins and last year the final seconds. They celebrated last years draw AT THERE HOME like a victory. Thats says it all for me.

hopefully tmrw we can take our chances and not succumb to celtic result or the last ditch heartache we ve suffered at the emirates.

And good that the opposing manager will be given extra security...350 mill stadium...and they couldnt even make sure the fuckin fans dont virtually sit next to the opposing manager. Who was the architect...Wenger??? " i dont know..i didnt see it, i will have to look at it again" lol lol lol

Both your goals were ugly and scrappy. Uniteds second goal was a work of art....You resorted to lumping it up in the last 10 minutes..
Beautiful football my ass

Of course you did,it was 2-2!
and if anything, that was the worst display ive seen from united at the grove.
your two midfields didnt cross the halfway line.
so real stagmatic football,we got the point we deserved and it was us who was unlucky not to take the three points!

He damn right! We should have won at Emirates in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 season, as well as the cup final in 2005. We had the more chances at Highbury in 2006 and we got what we deserved in our last two games against them. 4-0 should actually have been like 10-0 cause we outplayerd them and created a host of chances. We beat them at Old Trafford thanks to Hargos great fk and we should have won in both games in 2007. We ruled them and our counter attacking play was amazing. We have lost the last games to Arsenal thanks to late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late fucking goals. Gallas and Henry can fook off, and neither of them will play. Henry ditched them for sunny Spain and Gallas is injured. And if he does play, we know we will score from a corner  Rooney, Anderson and Ronaldo will be vital tomorrow and hopefully we will finally get what we deserve. Third time lucky maybe? :-)
