RvP Fit For Wigan

Robin van Persie always seemed to return from International duty injured when he played for Arsenal. His last season at the club was the first time he had played in more than 28 league games in his entire career.

When he was subbed off at half-time during Holland’s game against Hungary, rumours quickly circulated that he had a thigh injury and would be added to United’s injury list.

Holland’s manager, Louis Van Gaal, played down these fears after the game and Sir Alex Ferguson has today confirmed that Van Persie is injury-free and will be available for selection against Wigan.

    Wow that’s nice

Good news. Likewise for Kagawa. If Rooney wasn’t hurt, I’d say rest RVP for Welbeck. As things stand, he has to start. Hopefully Valencia is ready following his long trip. And since he wasn’t mentioned, I am assuming Young is fit too.

I used to be neutral towards Arse fans but I’m beginning to dislike them now cos of RvP!

    Thats a relief.

I hope he scores quickly and we put the game to bed early so most of the players can have a rest after a long international week. Champions league is just around the corner and we dont want any mistakes this time around.

Still think Sir Alex will rest the pair with Tuesday in mind, however thankfully they will be available should we need them.

Great new about RVP – big wknd with city away to stoke.. here’s hoping they only manage a draw like last year.. wigan has been an easy home game for us of late so im not exactly worries but we still need to play our best available.. think shinji will be rested for wed nyt but may play the last 20.. hopefully 2 up top.. prob RVP & Welbz but Chico could get his first start to the season! prob not tho.. comfortable 3 0 victory.. roll on wed nyt.. need to hit the ground running!

Would give Valencia kagawa and Chico a rest after ling flights

And Clevs and Carrick after England abuse.they can come back in in cl.

  14. Marq says:

No issues with who starts up front. It is the midfield that needs answers. Does Anderson start? I suppose Scholes will be kept fresh for the coming CL match, so do we go for Carrick + Clev? or Anderson + Clev and rest Carrick for the CL match as well?

Lets be honest no teams fans like losing world class talent from their team. When we lost Beckham,RVN and Ronaldo we were all dissapointed but at least they had moved to a different country so it was easier to swallow. It must kill Arsenal fans to see their former idol play for one of their rivals so their animosity is understandable.Tevez isn’t exactly thought of too highly of among United fans and he was essentially a bit part player in his final season at United.I know he joined city but it’s basically the same for Gooner fans now.Still can’t believe he plays for us but obviously delighted he does as he is lethal.
