Aww, that picture reminds me of good times....when he was actually fit enough to train. Actually Scott, i disagree, if we can get him to 100% fitness and thats a big IF, i say we keep him, Saha on his day bar injuries is one hell of a player, too bad we might never see that player again.

Alot of people said he was a bottler , but I dont think he is. Its a shame because on his day he is perfect for us but alas hes had it rough . If theyve got a training regime for him give him a chance (at least till jan )but still buy another striker

LouisLouisHaHa has a terrible history and he's no longer a spring-chicken so if he can be sold (and the wages bill reduced) then that's a no-brainer. The likelihood that he can be counted on when the going-gets-tough has to be very close to zero. So, sending him on his way would be an excellent piece of business by freeing up space/money for a replacement and also - and perhaps more importantly - having a squad player in whom SAF can have confidence in when the time comes. Louis has been a terrible disappointment in this last regard and is therefore not valuable to the team because he just can't be relied upon.

Remember when Giggs had all those hamstring problems, which were looking serious enough to curtail his future at Utd at one time. They discovered the main problem was his penchant for getting new cars regularly and that the stiffness of the new clutch pedal was a main contributor. Since then Giggsy has had relatively fewer ham problems. Saha's may be due to the overdelopmentof this thighs, if they can sort it out and he stays fit why sell him? On his day he is a class forward and causes defences a lot of problems. not only with his positional play but his passing skills are excellent. If its not sorted by January he should be moved on.

I wouldn’t go too hard on Saha.. his injuries are all related to his hamstrings - that’s because he has too much muscle on the front of his thighs as compared to the back - and Fergie said they are working on improving the conditioning of it. It’s hardly his fault that he’s that athletic (it’s probably those muscles that give him his explosive pace and jump); again, it’s not like he twisted his ankle or didn’t train and hence got fatigued, hamstring injuries are very common in sports with a lot of pace and jumping.

Fergie is right, Saha is an explosive, talented player and I will rather have him seating on the bench or even better, playing regularly than the likes of Campbell (who by the way hasn’t mastered the art of a controlled first touch  ).
