I am tired of Saha. In addition to being injury prone, he doesn't even seem hungry for the game anymore. He should not be more then a 4th striker. We need buy a better striker like Benzema.

Saha has lost his cutting edge pace since recovering from his injuries. He is also a poor finisher. Somehow i think berbatov does not fit in as well. So perhaps we can look abroad? I have been impressed by kuryani.

And all saha needs is a goal or two to gain some confidence, he really is a good player when in he has confidence which he is really lacking now.the fans arent helping him one bit.if he can give us half a season im ok with that.he has a serious knee condition and fans should understand that.when we buy new strikers he can leave then.he has been unlucky in his united career,he could have been as good as ruud in his prime.

Saha cant be sold, right now we have 3 strikers.we should be looking to add to these 3 and not reduce the number.if saha is sold then fine,we need two strikers.united need 4 strikers every season.we need to buy a clinical striker as we dont have one in tevez, rooney or saha.they are far too wasteful in front of goal.

Tough decision - the only way to make a sale make sense is if a guy of suitable quality can be brought in.

My tuppence-worth is that Kenwyne Jones of Sunderland would be a fantastic addition to UTD's squad - he's 6' 5", athletic, strong, young, and very good in the air. On the downside, he's still raw but, from what I gather from my Trini sources, he's willing to learn.

If UTD's squad is fully-fit - ! is it ever ? - then the real glaring absence is a big target man for those occasions when TheLads find themselves behind and need to throw caution to the wind to get back into the match with a more direct form of attack.

Saha, when fit and committed, provides that alternative; otherwise, someone like Kenwyne Jones would be ideal (think Drogba or Adebayor - and you get the drift of this suggestion)

if he wants to leave then let him go..i read somehwhere fergie mentioning that saha was contenet starting from the bench as s ub regularly these days to minimize chances of injury..i would rather keep him tahn force him out cos he brings a lot to the table when he subs in..

It's always easy to write off injury ridden players. A certain Ole Solskjaer was and still is one of our most celebrated stars, in a history which arguably more than any other club has had a huge pool of talent, fan favourites, cult heroes and just Legends.

Nobody would ever have written him off, he has always remained humble, he never left for Spurs when he could have at least doubled his money, insisting life on the bench is always going to be welcomed because he loves Manchester United. He was plagued with injury after injury but never written off by fans. To this day Ole is my Hero is football. So Saha, similar problems.. never seems to recover for a prolonged period, yet when he does play he is as good as anyone in our squad, it's to be pointed out his goals in the first half of last season helped us get to where we were and stay there. Not forgetting his run in the Carling Cup which sparked the end for Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Saha is a goalscorer, a finisher that now Ole has retired is one on his own.

So unless we replace him with somebody worthwhile, somebody who'll fit in at united then no I don't want to turn my back on a player who I've liked since his early Fulham days.

Saying that.. Rossi seems to be doing well in Spain ;o)

I have had enough of Saha. I mean, yes, he may be injured all the time, but in order to maintain success you've got to be ruthless.

His insistence on going away with France for every friendly despite him, every time - and I can't remember an occasion where this wasn't the case - coming back with a 3 month lay-off really grates at me.

It's time for him to go to Lyon or somewhere, where he'll probably never have another injury and show his true class, which we all know he has. Everyone will, once again, say Fergie has lost it, but we all know this is the right thing to do.
