Top man! I am not patriotic in any way and don’t give a fuck about England. I rarely watch them and the first thing I look for is that our players come through without injuries. I can see this becoming a more common thing in years to come whereby players will retire from internationals after they hit their peak. The media scrutiny on England players in particular, especially Utd players is laughable at times. They must wonder if it is worth the hassle.No wonder players pull out of friendlies due to non existent injuries. You have the ridiculous situation whereby Rooney gets sent off at Fulham for displaying passion, albeit I can see why the ref sent him off and then a few days later Rooney is expected to play for his country and contribute to lining the pockets of the same FA that rescinded the red card of a goalkeeper that can now play against us in our next league game. I may be a bolshy cunt but I think if I were Rooney I would have appealed the red card (forget the afters with the corner flag as that wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t been sent off),and rang up Mr Capello and said ‘If my red card stands then You can stick your World Cup qualifiers up your arse and play Darren Bent’. I would love to see what the spineless old farts at the FA would have done. I am sure Wayne would have been playing against Villa. It just seems strange to me that highly paid athletes like Premiership footballers who are tuned in to their club manager’s thoughts and expectations have to leave their families to go to play for a manager who they meet up with for a few times a year and then have to fall into a new role and very often end up looking at best ordinary, at worst shit. Fabio Capello apparently calls all his players by their surnames to keep them in their place. If my manager at work called me by my surname I would piss in his coffee. Scholesy would love to leave his family for a few days to be called ‘Scholes’ by a Tommy Cooper lookalike.Hopefully Rooney,Carrick, Rio will all follow suit in the future and then it will keep the anti-Utd media happy and also everyone else who hates us.If they don’t play for England they can’t be abused by the ‘STAND UP IF YOU HATE MAN U’ arseholes
