As for having a big ground, when we both played at Maine Road between 46 and 49, we had bigger attendances than you. So the ground was the same size, yet more Mancunians (no such thing as glory supporters in 1946 I’m afraid!) chose to watch United play than City. FACT.

CIty owners are providing rocket fuel, unfortunately neither do they nor will they ever understand what it takes to build a sucessful football clus.
