Have seen enough of him over the last 2 seasons to convince me he will be nothing more than a decent squad player, ala, Park, Nani etc. Apparently Benzema has just agreed a deal with Real in teh last hour so he is gone. I think it looks like there may be no-one left that will be worthy of the 7. Ribery if he Bayern can finally get over '99, and let him come to us. But apart from that, there is nothing wrong with leaving it vacant for a season, and seeing if Welbeck, Macheda, Petrucci, or Ljacic can step up and prove they may be worthy of it.
