On the day that marks Sir Alex Ferguson’s 26th anniversary of being Manchester United manager, he has been named manager of the month.
In October, United beat Newcastle 3-0, Stoke 4-2 and Chelsea 3-2, (as well as winning both Champions League games).
This is the 27th time Ferguson has been named Manager of the Month since the Premier League began.

I mean this award is stupid..he should get it every day, week, month and year unitl he is United coach
How I praise the Lord and thanking him every minute of the day that he made me live under the helm of this great man.
He made me so happy,so enjoying my beloved Manchester United and most of all very very proud that every day I go to work dressed with a United crested shirt, even when we loose.
Thank you Sir Alex and a big thanks goes to your charming family especially your loving wife Cathy.
If you want you can give me some years for you to continue the good work for my beloved Manchester United.
After 26 years he averages manager of month once a year. That doesnt sound right to me.
Peter
Well said my friend was just about to say something along those lines, but in my text there may have been the odd fuck and cunting reprobates thrown in. Thank god for sane people like you, means people dont have to read filthy texts.
Fuck
Like this one.
Well done sir alex

THIS SOUNDS RIGHT, but it’s unfair for other managers and we know that every one doesn’t like us.
WHO*S TOP OF THE TABLE NOW CHELSKI AND SHITTY!
Travelling squad: De Gea, Lindegaard; Rafael, Evans, Ferdinand, Buttner, Smalling, Evra; Cleverley, Giggs, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, Carrick, Young, Powell; Rooney, Welbeck, Chicharito, van Persie.
And what a month its been for the wily old Scot, bloody hell.
He’s shown his class in more ways than one, as usual.
Will be v. interesting to see how his views on CFC pan out.
On the pitch, we’re getting better with each game.
@Peter, the league isn’t 26 seasons old yet. But it goes to show how competitive the EPL is – any upset pretty much earns manager of the month. One award per season sounds about right. Beating Chelsea and Arsenal meant Oct was his. We won’t have another month like that till April, we play City at the start and Arsenal at the end. Heres hoping he wins two this year.
*better than one award per season sounds about right – approx 1.3 a season I think?
This award depends on the capacity of the club the manager has… ie, if one of the lesser teams win 2 games and draw 2 their manager gets it. But for SAF he only gets when we beat 2 or 3 of the big boys within a month, and we hardly play all the big teams in a month
Just my view not a fact
