Before England’s friendly against Slovakia this weekend, Martin Skrtel was tipped to keep Wayne Rooney in his back pocket.
Rooney went on to score two in a game where he was announced man of the match before even netting his second.
Skrtel has conceded defeat, claiming Wayne is one of the best forwards in Europe.
“This was a very bad game for us,” said Skrtel. “England scored early and after that were better than us in every situation on the pitch. England are a very good team and the result was absolutely correct. All their players were very good and Wayne Rooney was one of their best. He doesn’t only play against the defenders but also midfielders because he drops so deep. He is one of the best forwards in Europe.”

Rooney’s praising the England fans for their support! I must admit, I’m rather disappointed to hear that, as the majority of them are the same cunts who call him a fat bastard when he’s playing for United. Makes me cringe seeing them cunts chant his name when he scores for Ingerlund, especially as they will abuse him a week later when he’s on club duty.
