I just wish we would stop giving Tevez so much attention and cyber-space on Utd websites. He was only on loan at United and while he gave a number of decent performances he will never be regarded in the same light as the ‘greats’ eg Cantona/Keane/Giggs/Best/Scholes/Charlton/Edwards/Robson/Schmeichel etc. His lack of respect towards Ferguson has been despicable and as Utd supporters we should always support the manager. Hell – where would be be if Atkinson or Sexton [or God forbid Moyes] were at the helm ?? !! Who gives a s**!! what Tevez achieves with City – it will always be inferior and second best to what Ferguson achieves with Utd.
@Bring Back Cantona, nuff said!
Did anyone else notice that before running over to the supporter, Bellamy actually tried to half-volley the ball at him? I saw it at the time, but haven’t seen it reported anywhere since. Makes it difficult to argue that he was worried about time-wasting, seeing as he had just kicked the ball into the North Stand.
I don’t think those statistics accurately represent the contribution Tevez made to United, in what was one of the most successful periods in the clubs history. I was one of his biggest critics when he was at the club but I certainly do not hate him, even though he is clearly misguided.
