Manchester United beat Leicester 1-0 on Sunday afternoon thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford. After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he believed his team did enough to deserve the win, but that the players weren’t totally happy with their performance.

It’s a hard place to come. The first goal is vital against a team like this. I think we started brilliantly. Marcus had a great chance from Luke’s cross and he finished the ball fantastically well when Paul played him through. I told him through Schmeichel’s legs! But it was a great finish so I can’t complain. The start made the foundation.

We put our body on the line. There’s a couple of bruised noses and knees and dead legs. But they thought for the three points today. I thought they deserved it. We didn’t play particularly well. In the second half we could have controlled it more and slowed it down. But we defended really well. Eric and Victor did really well, and David of course.

A clean sheet is always a foundation to build on and three points will give them confidence. They’re no 100% happy with the performance which is great because we know we can do better.
