Sky News has reported that 150,000 United fans watched the lads bring the Premier League trophy through the streets of Manchester this afternoon. The Guardian estimated that this figure was closer to 100,000.

Despite the awful weather and disappointment from Saturday, reds showed up to show their support and appreciation of the players who earned us a record breaking 19th title.

I love the fact its a huge mixed crowd, all ages, all genders, people from all over the world. I bumped into some fans from abroad who had travelled up from London to be there in the pissing rain. There is power in numbers, great positive buzz being amongst such great supporters and seeing the United family, great spirit.

It was worth the rain man, being there was just healing and everyone was buzzing and friendly and out there to support the man and the team who give us some of the best highs and lows of our lives. I am sure a lot of kids who were out there will remember this day. The players seemed to be enjoying it there were leaning over the edge and waving and taking pictures.

I have to say I had a lump in my throat when I saw VDS for what may be the last time. And I wasn’t crying, it was the rain, pisses down in Manchester, something to do with the Penines.

A great turn out for the parade and MUTV had a great broadcast from it and a few specially made videos that summed our history up very well. Very touching to see and I felt even more proud of what the club has achieved.
Those that seem to celebrate that we lost this final all support clubs that have either won very little or very long ago and that is a hard place to be in when all you have going for you is another club failing to win one trophy when they have instead won another one and created history.
The challenge from Barca is what will make us become even better and greater just like Juventus made us go from winning the league over and over to actually winning in Europes finest competition. Personally I prefer winning the league and would not have been happy at all had we won the CL final after having lost the league.

Before this website confirms what the world media seem to be reporting on I would like to wish Paul Scholes all the best in whatever he takes on now after ending his United career. Maybe he is set for a job at his beloved Oldham?
I feel really old now as I saw this lad break though and really establish himself when he scored against Southampton at OT in 1995 almost breaking the net in the process. He of course debuted the season before but that 1995 goal at home to Southampton hit home to me this was going to be a special player.

I do realise now that Manchester City fans are brainless… That is why They say Manchester is full of idiots..All coz of you city fans.. The picture that you’ve shown, one has been taken from a greater height and other from a lower height and an open angle.. The pic of United’s parade that you’ve shown – there were fans on the other side too.. While City fans were only on one side.. And due to the height of the camera it may seem that United fans were less as compared to your’s – it’s false.., And ill let you know another fact that United fans were in thousands near the Old Trafford..
