Save percentage

Manchester United’s David de Gea has saved the highest percentage of shots faced amongst goalkeepers to have played at least half of their club’s games this season. The highly-rated Spaniard has saved three-quarters of shots faced, narrowly better than Aston Villa’s Brad Guzan and Swansea City’s Łukasz Fabiański.

At the other end of the table, Everton’s Tim Howard has only saved 55.6% of shots faced. The American is followed by Crystal Palace’s Julián Speroni (59.7%) and Hull City’s Allan McGregor (62.1%).

Notably, Brad Jones has saved only 44.4% of shots faced and Newcastle’s Jak Alnwick is at 47.6%. These are the only goalkeepers to save fewer than half of the shots on target they have faced this season.
