Suarez Changes His Story And Lies Again

Luis Suarez was found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra after admitting he called Evra “negro” during a game at Anfield. After kicking Evra, pinching him and hitting him on the back of the head, Suarez wanted people to believe that he was using the racist slur in a “friendly” way.

Suarez changed his story several times and in the trial admitted that he had lied when he claimed that he had pinched Evra to “defuse the situation”.

Following Liverpool FC’s embarrassing reaction to Suarez’s ban, there was hope both clubs could move on from the situation when the teams met at Old Trafford in February. However, Suarez, for some bizarre reason, chose not to shake the hand of Evra, the man he had racially abused.

However, some desperate Liverpool fans started circulating screenshots, trying to argue that it was Evra who had refused to shake hands, despite the video footage clearly showing Suarez was at fault.

Thankfully, Liverpool FC quickly dismissed these ridiculous conspiracy theories. Suarez’s refusal to shake Evra’s hand was one step too far for them and they could no longer defend the disgraceful actions of their player.

After Suarez was spoken to by the manager, Liverpool’s managing director, Ian Ayre, spoke of his disappointment. “We are extremely disappointed Luis Suarez did not shake hands with Patrice Evra before yesterday’s game,” he said. “The player had told us beforehand that he would, but then chose not to do so. He was wrong to mislead us and wrong not to offer his hand to Patrice Evra. He has not only let himself down but also Kenny Dalglish, his team-mates and the club. It has been made absolutely clear to Luis Suarez that his behaviour was not acceptable. Luis Suarez has now apologised for his actions, which was the right thing to do.”

Suarez released a similar statement, admitting that he was at fault, and that he was sorry for refusing to shake Evra’s hand.

“I have spoken with the manager since the game at Old Trafford and I realise I got things wrong,” he said. “I have not only let [Dalglish] down but also the club and what it stands for and I’m sorry. I made a mistake and I regret what happened. I should have shaken Patrice Evra’s hand before the game and I want to apologise for my actions.”

Thankfully, our club continued to behave in a decent way, and accepted the apology. “Manchester United thanks Liverpool for the apologies issued following Saturday’s game. Everyone at Old Trafford wants to move on from this.”

However, Suarez spoke to Uruguayan television yesterday and changed his story, again.

“It was a misunderstanding, what happened between me and Evra at Old Trafford when we were to shake hands,” he said. “In fact, I think it was all arranged against me again, as it had happened with the punishment. I promised my wife, the manager and the directors that I was going to shake my hand with Evra. Why not?, I thought, because I had no problems with him. I had been punished because of him, but I had no problems with shaking hands. But I was not forced to greet him. I had no problems with Evra. It was only a handshake and I was OK with that. The media in England showed the moment when I passed in front of him, but they didn’t see that he had his hand low before. Only the media in Uruguay and Spain showed that I wanted to shake his hand.”

Lying, racist, scummy scouse bastard.

Anyone else bored of all this Suarez talk. Lets leave it alone he was proved a racist regardless of what he says. Sounds more like to me he is trying to engineer a move away from the dippers by creating a shit strorm.

  2. utd_fc says:

Bastard of the worst kind. Sings a different tune every day.

And look at the fucking importance he gives to himself and Liverpool. WE needed to stop Liverpool? From what?? Fucking claiming a Europa spot or something? And who the fuck is this guy to think he’d change the whole clubs destiny.

For me the whole “I wanted to kick everything around me” bit says it all. Violent mental rat. Put him out of his misery already.

  3. utd_fc says:

    Giggs12

Think he’s a good fit. Scum goes with scum!

  4. Gorse Hill Red says:

The embarrasing thing is that the Liverpool fans will once again back him in their droves even though the evidence is there staring at them in the face that Suarez was wrong with everything he has done.
Any wonder why the owners sacked Queen Kenny; I have a feeling that Suarez wants the owners to sell him too.

  5. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Will they ever learn? I know Cedars hates Leeds with all his passion, but Liverpool are that for me. Scummy to the core and I don’t find one iota of self-respect on them. Seriously, the way they have handled this whole scenario shows their true colors. Fucking classless club.

BTW, news coming in that Larnell Cole is missing the tour due to a slight injury? WTF!!!!

  6. Kagawa The Shirt-seller says:

This is a freaking boring story. Screw the buck-toothed asshole.

  7. Utd4life says:

Suarez and Liverpool have sunk to a new low and it does not really surprise me anymore.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing our lads in action after a bloody long time. I cannot wait to see Kagawa and Powell in the Red shirt.

  10. Costas says:

I know there’s no bottom in their barrell of embarassments, but if Liverpool don’t fire this piece of shit, effective immediately, then they truly are no better than Stoke.

As for Suarez? What a piece of work he is. Notice the video of the handshakes. Evra’s hand is low before EVERY handshake. Not to mention the fact that Suarez himself admitted that he didn’t shake his hand!

  11. RedPharoe says:

What ever, lets move along and let him try and justify his actions all he wants, without our attention. I dont really care what he thinks about what he did or did not. Nothing he says can be trusted anyway.

2 – Manchester United (8 games) & Newcastle (15 games) were the only two teams not to win from a losing position in 2011-12.

Interesting stat from Opta. More proof why we need some hardball in the team who can lay it in to players when they don’t give their all in match.

  16. WillieRedNut says:

I was hoping for a free Zibbie thread….

  17. Costas says:

    @Balaji

Hi mate. It was something I noticed over the season. We weren’t making comebacks after we were in a losing position. We managed to salvage a draw at Chelsea and the only game we completely turned around was the Community Shield.

  19. 911_DEVIL says:

Its time we moved on from this suarez nonsense statements
Everyone can see he’s daft, even the scousers admit that
    Then why must we bother
One would not expect him to go out on their national TV and let himself down
    typical scouser plaYer
Everyone knows he’s a racist of the highest order, no matter how he tries to justify it

  20. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Costas, Yeah mate, as I soon as I read that stat, a number of matches came to my mind where we scored late goals to seal the deal. However, all of those matches had us leading to begin with and then we let in a goal and had to score late to win. The only two matches I can think of where we came back from behind were the two you mentioned. And we won only one of those.

Again, that is another aspect where I think we really feel the loss of Neville or Keano. Those players will not take a sub-par performance especially when we are down. Last year, I feel we didn’t see enough matches where we changed gears after going down. It has always happened in older times. We go down and we find second wind. We push to 5th gear. Last year, it felt like we were stuck on 2nd gear we were down. Of course, it may be due to the loss of Vida as well but who knows…

  29. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

very interesting – won’t surprise anyone. To turn a game around you need a bit of bite around the middle of the park and too often we didn’t have it.
You could also day that we shouldn’t be going behind in so many games.

  30. 911_DEVIL says:

    WTF!!!
ESPN reported that united had a 38m euros rejected by sao paulo for moura??? :O !!

  31. CedarsDevil says:

Was trying to remember, did that cunt wear a snood last season? That would then make him and in the famous words of King Eric a snood wearing mincing goofy cunt!!

  32. 911_DEVIL says:

    Yeah, true that @bobby
There were games where we dominated the entire first 45 but at half time we found ourselves trailing
Its something that has been happening quite a lot
I wonder why, maybe because we weren’t as clinical this past season or due to the absence of our pillar vida as balaji noted there

  33. CedarsDevil says:

Sorry but a technical question…………Is anyone else having problems with youtube? I asked Balaji for advice a while back and he suggested I use a different browser, it worked for a while but now the problem is back. Fucking videos only half load then cut off……….Doing my head, especially when I need my United fix

  34. samuel - united WE stand says:

Suarez is a very deluded, self pitying fool. He still hasn’t realised what he did, he’s still trying to make sense out of the situation with fellow discriminating bastards like himself. Well, that rumbles on.

FERGIE is not going to get a talentless water carrying hatchet-man, he wants footballers. If the team leaked goals then every player has to take a responsibility, the whole has to apply discipline just as well as it does going forward as a team. The myth is that one player will somehow protect united from conceding goals. No, the whole team working defensively from front to back when they don’t have the ball will do.

  35. CedarsDevil says:

    Use this mate – http://www.speedtest.net/

Try it wired via an ethernet cable and then wirelessly. I am guessnig you have throughput issues by the sounds of it.

  42. NotoriousRedDevil says:

I fucking hate this cunt and somebody should have him hung to dry for banging on about it, but we know the FA will do sweet fuck all. I will add he probably thinks its okay to talk about now Dogleash has been sacked.

“But I was not forced to greet him. I had no problems with Evra. It was only a handshake and I was OK with that. ”

This is the sentence I have the biggest problem with. Handshakes are a symbol of greeting, if you don’t want to greet someone you won’t shake hands. Suarez didn’t want to greet him, so as a result didn’t shake Evra’s hand. End of.

  43. CedarsDevil says:

    NRD

Hello pal, just put me in a closed room with Suarez and I will take care of the cunt…….Only one man coming out alive from that room and its me

  44. Marq says:

Sao Paolo can have 50m euros if they provide a money back guarantee clause =x

  45. Iceman says:

I read the interview with Suarez and I couldn’t really believe what he was saying. This is totally different than his statement after the game vs Liverpool at Old Trafford. This is also totally different what Liverpool’s officials were saying after the game.

Suarez actually reminds me a bit of Tevez and his bollocks when he only had 6 months left of his contract. Mismatch in his interviews, gets facts wrong and etc.

I actually think the FA should look into Suarez’s statements. He’s saying the English football is corrupt and the FA are in on it. That’s pretty serious accusations.

  46. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Icenman – Sky have ran with it although they are the biggest shit stirrers in the media. As a result BBC have put a video up, It shouldn’t be dropped but I feel it will. The FA have a lot of questions to answer.

@ Cedars – If you’re going to do that make sure it lasts a long time. Long enough so I can watch Das Boot twice.

  47. goatinaunitedshirt says:

I draw a line under this episode. Unfortunately I believe club allegiances has clouded the argument and destroyed any possibility of fair and unbiased discussion through fear of being ostracised. It is clear that if the Liverpool hierachy are serious with their dissapointment with Suarez from the first round of this mess they will probably sack him sooner rather than later. I feel for Liverpool because no one deserves this, of course its funny too because its Liverpool its happened to. But I just wish the players grew up. Football is very tough to enjoy anymore. From a man that watched 500 games a year to one that sighs when United come on at times its a real kick in the cunt to say the least.
I think the internet has destroyed football.

  48. Henke17 says:

this sao paulo idiot makes no sense!!

“we dont need money, our economy is fine and we get tv money..better to have a great player than money in the bank….so, we’ll sell him if united pay a few million more”

So, is it about money then or not? what a tosser!!

  49. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ goat – I wouldn’t say the internet has destroyed football. Greed has. The world’s obsession with celebrity culture has always been there. Except now they look to sports starts instead of world leaders and politicians.

Golng to be stuck in traffic on Friday because a bunch of people want to see a metal pole with some fire on it. Reminds me of that simpsons episode

    NotoriousRedDevil
No of course the internet hasnt destroyed football as a gun has never killed anyone. Its the people on it or pulling the trigger that have destroyed football. Objective chats on a blog are near on impossible because people are looking to defend their own first before a meaningful discussion. I can only assume the “meaningfuls” are too busy at work making their millions to be online chatting leaving the dregs of society to steer a path in life. Footballers have too much time on their hands and need to with their degrees share their knowledge and understanding of the world with everybody. Journalists need to have a journalist degree but that doesnt neccessarily mean he has to have an A level in English or any sense of history, he just needs to know how to sell freelance, what is libel and what isnt and how a printing press works. They have to understand that their job is measured in internet hits and often by dumb unemployed chavs sitting around all day on the computer reading online versions of papers like the bloody Mirror.

Personally I feel football players of today are clueless twats and that goes for a large contingent of United players. They are a fekkin disgrace, it really is a sad state of affairs.

  58. 3 lions says:

agreed mate footballers today are pampered twats! sad to see it

  59. JC says:

Apparently the reason why the Brazilian teams try to sell their player’s for so much is the player’s economic rights are held by so many different entities. From previous clubs to agents to sports marketing firms the pie gets split up into so many small slices that the teams would get very little if they sold for realisticly small sums. According to what I’ve read (probably mostly bs but who knows) Moura’s rights are partially held by 2 different clubs and his current team would only bag between 60-80% of the fee depending on reports.

  60. CedarsDevil says:

Well well well, what do we have here? Right, a proper and decent poster gets banned, and YES he was banned perhaps for going off colour may be due to being under the influence, but have we not all done that at some stage?

On the other hand we have a self confessed suicidal maniac who is also a right wing racist Nazi allowed to post here………What is even more bizarre is that some folk are giving the freak the time of day, some are even fucking greeting him for fucks sake!

What is wrong with this place?

  61. CedarsDevil says:

    Lebomanc

Great chant, actually created by our very own poster Giggs12…….Fulham away I think

  62. lebomanc says:

    Cedars
Wow, never knew he created it… great job @giggs12

  63. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ goat – Footballers are cunts – No arguments there. Ched Evans testimony more than made my mind up regarding footballers. You’re right we have more than a fair few. Am I the only one not surprised about Welbeck’s supposed refusal to sign a new deal? Top player who still has a lot to learn and maturity is part of it. Says all the right things in front of the camera but doesn’t seem genuine

Fact is our owners are penny pinching cunts when it comes to paying players and this stretches back to Martin Edwards and Keano. The only time this didn’t happen was when Kenyon was here. I digress though

As for journos they’ve been spewing tripe for years I pay no attention to them.

  64. CedarsDevil says:

Yes our Giggs12 is a legend in the stands, just a pity he sits at the wrong end of the ground!!

Yeah I must admit I was shocked (forever the optimist gets the kick in the teeth) when Wellbeck didnt sign straight away. I was led to believe on here last year that he was a United boy through and through and the thought of going anywhere else wasnt an option. I suppose they dont make many Paul Scholes do they. Not just the player but the attitude and loyalty. I put Scholes up there with Bobby Charlton as the type of people you just want hanging around – they are soup when your feeling under the weather and a brandy on a blustery day.

  69. FletchTHEMAN says:

What is it about Suarez? Was he dropped as a child? !! ;)

    Question about history of handshakes:
We all know about the famous tunnel bust up between Keane and Viera, supposedly started over Viera trying to intimidate United players. Seems well enough documented as well. But it is funny how other fans perceive the incident. There is a lad on social media saying that Scholes and Keane should be banned for not doing hand shakes with Viera. What handshakes. Don’t even recall that there was handshakes to be honest. One of you lads have the back story on this?

  70. Fred says:

Fletch – there WERE handshakes. Neville famously gave Vieira “proper evils” as he walked past.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0THkZq4SmU

  71. Fred says:

The Premier League introduced the pre-match handshake in 2004, apparently.

  72. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@FletchTHEMAN – Scholes didn’t shake Vieras hand that dayand at the same time Viera didn’t shake Scholesys , I remember seeing that. Not sure about Keano wouldn’t ave surprised me after what had gone down. The bust up and then what happened on the pitch after seemed to dominate headlines.

Not sure on the back story, probably because Viera was trying to intimidate our players its well documented he started on G Nev but he had said a few things to others, he was always a wind up viera. I say this because the season before him and Keano were in the tunnel and Viera tells him to smile and Keano responds with “I’d be smiling too if we were top of the league but we’re not.” Viera keeps trying to push his buttons but Keano stares straight ahead and wasn’t having it. There’s a youtube videoout there.

Anyway back to the bust up maybe Scholesy was one of the other players Viera had said something too Scholesy pulled a Rio.

  73. eric keane says:

Clint Dempsey has been spotted weeping profusely as talks between Fulham and Liverpool are at an advanced stage. Liverpool have also agreed to invent a teleporting device to send dempsey 22 years into the past.. All this because the player wants to play at the highest level and challenge for honors.

  74. Red Tash says:

  75. Fred says:

NRD – I always took Vieira’s “just smile, man” as a friendly exchange. We were no threat to Arsenal at that particular time (hence Keane’s response) so Vieira could afford some playful banter, rather than the phoney tough guy routine he put on the following season.

  76. Fred says:

MC Deuce will cringe when they play him “The Anfield Rap”. Big mistake, Clint. Big mistake.

  77. FletchTHEMAN says:

OK, fair enough. But these fans seem to suggest that there was a racist backdrop to this which I hadn’t taken any notice of and still fail to grasp. As NRD says, Viera was a wind up and had been for a couple years on the trot. Don’t see much in the banning idea but hey, it is all about perception and media spin.

Fred. Great clip. Never focused on that tail end  Love the Gaz.

Gaz sayin, See you on the pitch mate. Proper threw Pp Viera off his game.

  78. washego4 says:

  79. TheCANTONA says:

It seems this shameless cunt is looking for transfer out from Liverpoo hence he creates more and more controversy. And when that happend we’ll see dippers fan abuse him when he go to better club (just like they did to ladyboy torres)

  80. Fred says:

Fletch – there was no element of racism in the refusal of Scholes and Keane to shake Vieira’s hand that night. I find the mere suggestion pathetic, imbecilic and sickening.

  81. Cyril Sneer says:

The latest episode of Agent of Fergie:

    http://www.agentoffergie.com/2012/07/playmates-part-four.html

Read it or Fred will give you proper evils.

  83. Fred says:

Look it up in the dictionary, you’ll see a picture of yourself.

  84. WillieRedNut says:

Have to say, if Zibbe has been banned for the reasons given, that’s bang out of order. I know some don’t get on with him, but I like the dude. Any clarity would be appreciated on the situation. Cheers! ;)

  85. Fred says:

    What reasons are those Willie?

  86. parryheid says:

Done that and it is a good likeness thought you were the prettier likeness.

  87. Sandeep1878 says:

Look who is in the house!!

    Its Fred!!

  88. WillieRedNut says:

Yeah, our Freds proper evil! :)

  89. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Just to add for anyone to suggest there’s racism involved in the Keane/Viera saga and the Scholesy handshake thing is fucking stupid and couldn’t be further from the truth. That was the first time I believe they had the Kick It Out messgae printed on both teams shirts and whilst the pre-match scuffle may have been unsavoury in some people eyes. I believe the football that followed that day sent home that message as well as how quality the PL is. One of my favourite games ever.

  90. Fred says:

Sandeep! Are you looking forward to the big match tonight? I have a feeling it will be about as close as a Federer v Murray grand slam final, so expect a real humbling for AmaZulu!

  91. WillieRedNut says:

Fred – He made off colour remarks. Shit he usually talks about on here. Nothing he should be banned for imo.

  92. Sandeep1878 says:

    Fred,

very much looking forward to it mate, at last proper football is back..

    Evening Willie,

    catching some live streams?

  93. Fred says:

NRD – “fucking stupid” just about sums up people who throw around baseless accusations of racism for no other reason than spite. Vile and sickening imo.

Willie – cheers. Maybe it’s just a temporary suspension. Sachu and other cretins have managed to get back on the site after finding themselves blocked, haven’t they? I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of Zibbie on here. :)

  94. FletchTHEMAN says:

Fred, Cheers. Fully agree. Viera was a great player for LeArse but ends up only a muse for the great Keano in my book. Should have stayed on with AFC. Remind me…. Who does he work for now? Some small club with aspirations to spend money? Oi ?! ;)

  95. Sandeep1878 says:

and it looks like the normal service has resumed in ROM,

  96. Sandeep1878 says:

    NRD,

    you are right pal,

that was one of the greatest games..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKAPdB_4fu4

  97. Fred says:

LOL Fletch. What Vieira did in those 28 (mostly sub) appearances was enough to guarantee Legend status at City and a role as club ambassador. Such a massive club they are.

  98. jeet says:

Been thinking about the ‘footie has evolved beyond the hardman role’ debate and here’s my 2 cents:
    1. Its a myth that top teams don’t employ destroyers anymore. Madrid pairs fletchesque khedira with carrickesque alonso. Italian teams abound in them. Barca don’t, but if you had the triumvirate ahead of carrick we wouldn’t be crying for mf-s
    2. Recent games wwhere we have been outmuscled have had good hardmen, e.g. Geordie tiote, paired with cabaye of course
3.We could take the ‘good football’ route and say we would like the next scholes to be paired with carrick, but where do we get that guy? So no doubt that’s the best option, but a touch unrealistic. The arse have tried, and we never tired of telling them that what they lacked was a little bit of steel and muscle
    4. So failing which, we regress to next best, which is pair a good evolved player like carrick with a good tough mf, cos that’s simply easier to implement, as opposed to pairing with the next scholes, cos that’s just incredibly difficult

  99. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Lindegaard; Veseli, Ferdinand, Wootton, Brady; Lingard, Carrick, Scholes, Macheda; Hernandez, Berbatov.

    Start today

  100. jeet says:

    Carrick_scholes???

  101. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Great line up. Very exciting

    54,000 expected gate.
80th anniversary of creation of AmaZulu, second oldest club in SA

    Expecting a great match.

  102. Sandeep1878 says:

    Papii,

    thanks for the XI pal..

    hope you are well..

  103. samuel - united WE stand says:

Ah, the scholes carrick combination. Nothing has changed.

  104. Fred says:

Thanks for the team news, Papii. :)

  105. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Sandeep…Im good mate, long time, you?

Subs : Johnstone, Vermijl, Blackett, Petrucci, Tunnicliffe, Nick Powell, Antonio Valencia, Luis Anderson, Shinji Kagawa, Bebe

  106. Costas says:

We have to play some recognised names on this tour and unfortunately, Powell, Tunni and Petrucci have to sit this one out.

  107. slim says:

Sticking up for Danny here. The lad is united through and through. Negotiations are tough these days plus the stories are just that, stories.
He wants to stay no doubt. Doesn’t mean he’ll accept what he sees as a poor offer.
I see people using scholes as a comparison. All I can say is Paul would have moved on IF he felt he wasn’t being valued or assured he would feature heavily. He said as much when he talked about his retirement. Fergie couldn’t assure him of the number of games he wanted and he promptly retired. I don’t see anyone castigating him for that-

  108. Sandeep1878 says:

    Papii,

I m good mate, enjoy the game..

  109. Fred says:

Oooooh, will we see Kagawa?! :D

  110. CedarsDevil says:

    Evening dip shits

Anyone got any fucking links to the match? Will also be keeping a close look on Molde in their CL qualifier……..Get IN Ole you fucking beauty

  111. eric keane says:

  112. WillieRedNut says:

Sandeep – Yes mate, I will try and see some of the game.

  130. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Its Rumoured RioFerdy5 tweeted “Playing Choc-Ices #Racism ” but removed it within minutes.

  131. 911_DEVIL says:

    Great to see sir alex
Sing along to the happy birthday song :)

  132. TonyBee says:

    i hope Berbatov scores a brilliant hat-trick tonight…
    Go BERBA

  133. Balaji Sivaraman says:

xol, I’ve been using Sopcast for years now. Whenever I can’t find a match on TV, Sopcast is the way to go. And this is my preferred link,

    3912/132348

The video quality is amazing in glorious HD. You see that on a HDTV and you won’t be able to tell the difference between that and your cable. Yes, the commentary is in Russian but who listens to English commentary these days. It’s all ABU shit anyways.

    P.S.: Berba. :(

  134. CedarsDevil says:

    TontBee

The link is working now, thanks me love…….Wet tongue French kisses darling

  135. Fred says:

No idea how good these Zulu lads are, I’m expecting plenty of goals though.

  136. Red Tash says:

    We need Cubs.

  137. Mrad_leb says:

    Ohhhhhh what a chance

  138. Fred says:

Oh my days! Chicharito fluffs a glorious chance!

  139. TonyBee says:

    FUCKING Chico MISSED A SITTER…sell the cunt……

  140. Red Coppel says:

Amazulu is not a particularly good side…AJAX Cape Town though are better.

  141. King Eric says:

The line up means nowt. Every player needs minutes and will get them.

  142. Fred says:

Thanks Coppel. United looking dominant in the first 5 minutes. Hopefully we’ll score a hatful. :P

  143. TonyBee says:

young Brady showing their winger he means business

  144. Fred says:

    Too right Tony.

  145. CedarsDevil says:

Friendly or not, Carrick looks fucking class as ever

  146. Fred says:

    Kiko’s had a number 3. Looks good.

  147. Singh7 says:

Anyone notice how good Jesse Lingard looks in these early stages??

  148. Fred says:

    Scholesy.

  149. 911_DEVIL says:

Go scholes, kick their asses :P

  150. TonyBee says:

fucking hell Ginger Prince playing like a youngster….flicks , loops, forward runs…..

for fucks sake MAN pace yourself…

  151. Balaji Sivaraman says:

First of many offsides to come for Chicharito.

P.S: Brady’s was the best corner I’ve seen for ages in a United shirt.

Fred, Return of the Dark Side.

  152. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Schneider would look great beside Lingard in the middle :P

  153. Fred says:

Liking what I’ve seen from this Brady lad so far. Oh yes. 8)

  154. TonyBee says:

yeah and me Fred…..Brady seems the real deal…forget Baines…..

  155. Fred says:

Balaji – the Sith master weaving his dark magic already.

  156. TonyBee says:

Manchester United’s first match of their pre- season tour is against Amazulu F.C

Or the Ferdinands…….. as John Terry calls them!

  157. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Gotta say Lingard’s really catching my eye. I mean, now I realize what King Eric says is right. You don’t hear about Lingard, Brady, the Keane brothers, Tunnicliffe etc. as much as you do about Pogba or Morrison. But they are the ones that might ultimately make it big at Old Trafford. We’ll have to wait and see. But Lingard is one I think we are going to keep our eyes out for in pre-season.

  158. Fred says:

    Their coach is Bishop Brennan?

  159. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    dead boring

Ill be back when its 67th minute….need a power nap :P

  160. Fred says:

    Kikooooooooooooooooooo!!!:)

  161. CedarsDevil says:

    MrBee

    Ha ha ha

  162. TonyBee says:

    easy peasy

  163. Sandeep1878 says:

    Kiko..

    Deja vu :)

  164. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Man, that Berbatov. He really does slow down play to a crawl, doesn’t he?

  165. Utd4life says:

Kiko scores!!!!! Was it Berba who provided the assist??

  166. TonyBee says:

we are gonna score a fucking hatful tonight….. or we should……

  167. Fred says:

    The Berb’s the word!

  168. Utd4life says:

    Good save by Lindegaard.

  169. Mrad_leb says:

    that lingard kid looks decent

  170. TonyBee says:

SAF must be drooling over these young uns playing tonight…..

  171. Sandeep1878 says:

    Balaji,

Have to agree, Brady’s corner kicks are a good deal :)

imagine if he is our LB, he has to run all the way to the corner to take the kicks :)

    ##

These young lads look confident, i m really happy, i know its just a pre season, but the treble winning reserves team is real quality, no one can deny that..

    the rise of new generation..

  172. CedarsDevil says:

Kiko is quickly becoming our best pre season tour striker!!! ha ha

  173. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Did anyone else see Berba’s pluck out of the air? Orgasmic. :D

  174. Fred says:

    Come on Berb, top corner!

  175. Fred says:

Wow, what an effort from Da Berb.

  176. TonyBee says:

fucking hell what a strike on the volley…..

  177. Utd4life says:

Balaji. Yeah, I saw it. Our Berba, cool as fuck he is.

  178. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

    JUST LOOK AT THE BERB.

And we’re not gonna keep him?!

  179. berbatunday says:

Berba volley! gr8 corner by brady

  180. TonyBee says:

    vessli having a stinker

  181. Fred says:

    Good effort from Kiko.

  182. 911_DEVIL says:

    Wow!!!
Great half, I have been impressed by brady and vaseli
Its a great half for a first pre-season game

  183. The team that wouldn't die says:

I must say I enjoy watching a United B-side playing a friendly against inferior opposistion 100x more than any match in the EC.
    Finally!
    Berbatov is looking good.

  184. Fred says:

Time for a brew. The Berb, Lingard and the Ginger Prince a joy to watch. I wonder who we’ll see in the second half – AV7? Shinji-san? Nick the Power? Top stuff. 8)

  185. xol says:

Balaji re 3912/132348 cheers i’ll give it a go in the 2nd half.

macheda is always player of the tournament. I’ll say it again: hope he continues this form into the season proper!

Brady out of position a bit but doing ok. Like I said, Berba is good enough to build a team around. fitb will disagree but its there to see; he’s such a good link between mid and attack. Wants the ball when marked, can hold it up, can play Macheda through…

  186. eric keane says:

bring in blackett put brady on the wing!!! that boy looks great every time he has the ball..
lingard best out of the young lot on the pitch today,… veselli having a bad night!! pre-season hair dryer maybe :P

and now rise for kagawa san!!!

  187. Balaji Sivaraman says:

So, yeah, that Berbatov, some player isn’t he? He’s been the highlight of this half so far with some pretty spectacular Berba touches. I know someone is going to come in and say “He’s only playing against Amazulu.” and that he lacks something to make it at the highest level. But class shines through always and that was the case with that half.

Lingard and Brady are really looking good. Nearly all of Brady’s corners were spot on and that is saying something after seeing someone like Nani take corners that don’t even make it past the first fucking man. The latter’s positioning has been suspect but he’s a kid and all that. Lingard looks a really confident lad. Taking players on and he has the same advantage as Cole. Both have low centers of gravity which allow them to turn quickly and leave their marker grasping. That is a great tool to have in your arsenal. I cannot wait to watch more from them as the pre-season progresses.

Now to bring on Kagawa and Powell. We really need to look at those guys in the second half. And I’ll hand it out to Cedars who first spotted it, Kagawa looks really sexy in Red.

  188. Balaji Sivaraman says:

xol, Yeah, it’s too late now. But turning Berbatov into a Zidanesque central mid-fielder when he was around 25 would’ve been fucking awesome. The ball just sticks to the guy’s feet. He would’ve made a great attacking central mid-fielder had he made the jump early like Scholes. Alas, it was not to be. But we’ll always have that hat-trick. :D

  189. Utd4life says:

Lindgard looks the best out of the young lot.

  190. 911_DEVIL says:

    Now get ka-gawa in sir
We want to see him in

  191. TonyBee says:

yeah get Kagawagga in … we need to sell more shirts in ASIA

  192. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

I did make the call on the gorgeous Kagawa did I not? So hands off ha ha

By the way I am on fire here, NO I mean on fucking fire……..Its so fucking hot and with the power cuts my balls are dripping

  193. 911_DEVIL says:

    Yeah
Berba was quicker today I must admit
I was never his fan, but today he linked the midfield and attack pretty magnificently and I was impressed

  194. TonyBee says:

Who is the blonde with all the cleavage on MUTV…… S

  195. TonyBee says:

Who is the blonde with all the cleavage on MUTV…… Some one tell her to get her fucking hair done before a game….scruffy bitch

  196. TonyBee says:

    WTF……..

  197. Fred says:

LOL Tony. I agree completely. To think we used to have Hayley McQueen to gawp at. Huge tits and gorgeous face.

  198. CedarsDevil says:

    Horny old fuck

  199. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

back from the Powell Nap :D

What did I miss? How was the golazo? By Kiko?

TonyBee – Fuck You, I hope a big black man called terry crews fucks you, that whore on MUTV made my day ! Do not call her scruffy, that too derogatory !

  200. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

Kiko’s been great so far, looking like he wants to prove a point.

Berba-looks like he wants to prove his worth, and he’s doing it well.

  201. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Gotta say, each time I look at Lindegaard, his quote comes to my mind: “I didn’t come here to pick my nose.”

And he’s really proven that whenever he’s been in goal. A lot of clean sheets, some nice presence about him and great shot-blocking. Really, the only area where De Gea is very much ahead of him is in distribution, but that’s also key for a team like United that relies a lot on counter-attacks.

  202. Fred says:

Papii, the goal was scored almost immediately after you left. :D

  203. TonyBee says:

LOOK at the fucking barnet on Anderson…what a fucking tool

  204. Balaji Sivaraman says:

See what I mean about Lindegaard. Fucking A back up to have. But whether he’ll like being a back-up for long is another question altogether.

  205. Fred says:

    LOL Tony

  206. Fred says:

Balaji – he has no choice but to like it. :)

  207. TonyBee says:

    get KIKO OFF NOW

  208. Fred says:

    Tim Westwood there?

  209. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    How is Ando still fat?

  210. Balaji Sivaraman says:

G12G0, Chicken wings mate. Those are his secret. BTW, Ando’s always fat. That’s his key weapon for out-muscling players.

Fred, Yup! But for how long. He loves United, a bit like Berbatov. But he’s good enough to be No. 1 at a lot of other clubs, some top ones desperately need a goalie like Arsenal. That was my line of thinking mate.

  211. CedarsDevil says:

Before folk on here start getting the wrong idea, yes that Lindy fella is good in goal but De Gea is our number one, I have no doubt about that!

  212. Fred says:

Petrucci and Tunniclifffe on for Lingard and Scholes.

  213. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    Petrucci is a proper player

  214. Icebergtz says:

This is how we were last season, hanging on to 1-0 lead.

  215. parryheid says:

Eaksy peaksy with Molde, they had a couple of great chances to go in ahead not taken.

  216. CedarsDevil says:

    Parry

You beat me to it, still nil nil at HT

    Come ON OLE

  217. TonyBee says:

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  218. Icebergtz says:

The boy Shinji is warming up..

  219. Dela says:

Shinji :-) About time, the ball didnt go out of play for like 8 minutes, he had to look on. He’ll get a couple of minutes of play.

  220. Fred says:

    Shinji. 8)

  221. alfREDo says:

    Shinji finally on!!

  222. Fred says:

Shinji would likely have had an assist within a minute of coming on, had it not been for an incorrect offside call. :x

  223. TonyBee says:

shirt sales just went up in Japan……

  224. CedarsDevil says:

Got me renty mates over, doing my fucking head in with talk of greats like Wise and Terry……I am about to chuck one of them from me balcony

  225. CedarsDevil says:

Fuck YES Molde 1 up Angan with the goal

  226. Dela says:

Well that was a boring game, everything you expect from pre season. :-)

  227. Sandeep1878 says:

Amazulu had more possession than us :P

Now let the media wank fest begin :P

  228. Fred says:

The second half was a real snoozefest. Thank God we don’t play like Spain or Barcelona, that would be REALLY boring. :P

  229. diego says:

Tyler Blackett has alot of improving to do… don’t see any hint of technical ability =/

No one really truly impressed in this friendly except Berbatov and Lindegaard, ironically our “back-ups”.

As usual, no hint of urgency in the passing or movement of the players in the middle of the pitch.

Yes it’s only a “pre-season”, but these guys were supposed to have something to prove to the coach?

Not being a pessimist, just being a realist.

  230. eric keane says:

fergie ! sign up some amazLOLu players!!! we’re fucking weak!! :P

shinji came out for a stroll in the park almost got an assist niace

  231. Passe says:

The game was as pointless as they come. However, watching our reserves trying to pass the ball I remembered how much I hate vuvuzelas…

  232. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Dela, LOL! Yeah, the lack of fitness was painfully obvious in the second half. Everything was played at Berbatov’s pace.

Lingard was the stand out. He showed great feet and some nice touches. The physique will be a non-issue for him and Cole because most players aren’t going to be able to catch them in the first place. They’ll be like speedy mice that you can never get a hold of.

And I also feel Tunnicliffe and Petrucci provided a couple of really good reasons as to why not signing a mid-fielder may not be such a bad thing. They both looked really sharp when they were on. And a couple of nice moves between them as well. That Petrucci shot that struck the bar was something else altogether. And contrary to someone like Pogba, Petrucci’s shown real loyalty as well. And we all know Tunni’s a proper Red. Plus, he’s got a great build and is someone you don’t fuck with. Watching him play in the past couple of years, I am reminded a lot of Keano, and that’s no bad thing at all. I am really excited to see both those lads for more of pre-season.

  233. Fred says:

At least we won, unlike the taches who have drawn 0-0 and lost 1-0 so far on their pre-season tour. Bodes well for the new season…

  234. eric keane says:

@ diego : cut these kids some slack. lingard was great so was brady. that shot from petrucci was great as well.. stop being a realistic pessimist, see the bright side.

  235. CedarsDevil says:

Who gives a fuck about pre season? Ole is in the CL Come ON Molde

  236. Arjunited says:

Good cameo by Petrucci. He was out for almost 2 years with injuries. He got offers from elsewhere to join other clubs but he chose to stay. Will be nothing better than watching him making it at United. Wish a long career to him! Go on Davide! Forza Petrucci! :)

  237. Fred says:

Who gives a fuck about Molde? Come on whoever they’re playing!

  238. Fred says:

FK Ventspils, come on you Latvian beauties!

  239. Utd4life says:

Well, it was an okayish performance. We looked good in the first half but slagged off in the second. The lads looked rusty which is understandable. Stand out players for me were Lingard, Lindegaard and Berba.

  240. Fred says:

Penalty Molde. Fucking Ole has the refs in his pocket.

  241. 911_DEVIL says:

Barba won man of the match award :O

  242. Fred says:

    Slammed home!

  243. TonyBee says:

    ially for Cedars…

BREAKING NEWS – Van Persie signs new two year contract!

With Vodafone……. £35 a month, unlimited calls, 1GB of internet and 500 texts a month.

  244. Fred says:

The barber won the MOTM award for his sterling work on Anderson and Kiko’s barnets.

  245. nani4ever says:

Watching Molde match and am still baffled up to this day, how Mangus Eikrem did not get a chance to prove is worth when its clear a s day that he along with petrucci were the ideal player to groom in the scholes role @ the club, yet gibson was preferred which to me is still one of sir alex most shocking decision of his reign in my opinion

  246. parryheid says:

    Nani4ever.

    Tell me about it.

  247. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

    Ha ha ha

  248. Fred says:

Anyone who doesn’t want Ventspils to win… well I can only deduce that you are Latvian-hating xenophobes. Disgusting bigots.

  249. CedarsDevil says:

Ole doing a ‘Fergie’ on the refs…………Fucking love it

  250. Fred says:

Oh I can hear it now: “I can’t be… I sat next to a Latvian on the bus once!” Yeah right, and the rest.

  251. Gioed says:

    1-0 YESS

  252. CedarsDevil says:

    Molde rape shit

  253. Gioed says:

    Kids looked good.

  254. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

Enough already, pissing my self here

  255. Gioed says:

Berbas volley was pure skill, Kiko scores. Lingard wanted the ball and did well with it. So nice to see Scholes out there.

  256. Fred says:

Save it Cedars. There is no possible reason for supporting Molde tonight other than a deep-rooted hatred of Latvians. That is a fact!

  257. Sandeep1878 says:

    Who are this Molde?

I only United and they are fucking beauty :P

  258. CedarsDevil says:

3 nil now! Get the FUCK IN

  259. Fred says:

    Aaaand it’s Effffffff Kayyyyyyyyy Ventspils
    FK Ventspils FC!
They’re by FAR the greatest team
    The world has everrrr seen!

    Ventspils! Ventspils! Ventspils!

Come on you Latvian beauties, don’t throw in the towel. We’ve got these right where we want them!

  260. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

You are a nasty bugger, frigging love you

  261. nani4ever says:

    Parryheid

I struggle to see what was the back room staff logic in preferring gibson over eikrem, because if its technical ability, eikrem streets ahead, passing the same, positioning streets ahead and composer on the ball to retain it under pressure its no competition, the only area that gibson had any sort of advantage is in being more physical and that to me is the down fall of the english game and I taught we of all team be more aware of that because of the qualities our little master scholes possesses, but I hope with the acquisition of kagawa along with players like nani and cleverly we are now transitioning into a more ball retentive compose outfit, while still playing fast counter attacking high tempo football

    Nani4ever.
What I was howling about was we gave him away for fuckall or next to it,he didn’t even get a minute on the pitch despite being on the bench for umpteen games.A baby with a biscuit arse could see his talent yet we are likely to go in and pay top dollar for him in the near future, sickening.

In Malaysia, we call a cunt like Suarez a “Puki Mak Lancau”.

Btw, its good to have Suarez down in Liverpool. He makes the reason to hate Liverpool even more legit and purposeful now.

HE CAN FUCK OFF – far as im concerned racial handbags like this and CLLC are good for the game and society. It draws a nice clear line in the sand for everybody to see, and theres nothing like a dose of reality.

Editorially, Scott the Red has been bang on throughout all this football fuckery I must say.

    Long may it continue!
