Manchester United’s U-17 team won the Sparkasse VGH Cup today after beating Austria Vienna on penalties following a 1-1 draw. This tournament is for U-19 teams and this is the second consecutive year that United have lifted the trophy.

They beat Eintracht Braunschweig 2-1 in the first round, Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 in the second round, Mainz 5-2 in the quarter-finals, and Fulham 2-0 in the semi-finals.

Mason Greenwood finished as the second highest goalscorer despite being the youngest player there. He finished the tournament with 13 goals in 10 games.
