Manchester United’s U-18 team beat Sunderland on Saturday thanks to two goals from Tahith Chong. Chong has missed 10 months with a serious knee injury but since returning he has made six appearances for the U-18s and U-19s, where he’s scored four goals and won two penalties.

This game wasn’t without incident though, with Sunderland going down to 10 men when the game was level. Tom Scothern was shown a second yellow card and sent off, which led to players from both teams kicking off with each other.

Seven minutes later, Chong scored the winner for United. As the game went on, the frustrated Sunderland players were guilty of some poor tackles and at the final whistle there was another scuffle.

Chong kindly took the time to remind the Sunderland players of the score though.
