I know it is an FC United chant but I still see them as part of us, just a naughty sibling going through a period of teenage rebellion. I think Old Trafford lacks a signature song and ‘United Road’ doesn’t get the hairs on the neck stood up like, dare I say it, ‘Fields of Anfield Road’ and ‘You’ll never walk alone’ does to the scousers.
