Like I’ve said before, some folk HAVE to disagree. A view of a player based on emotion is often wrong; there is no doubt on that. This can grow for a number of reasons: one being folk gladly agree with it from fear of being left out. Then you get the ever-present small number who are the polar opposite – they have to disagree.
Yet within the former group there will always be enough who construct their opinion from the known (and relevant) truths. They generally will be right because they make their case in isolation – on the player concerned and no-one else.
They will never do this by the cop-out of either/or comparisons with other players at the same club. With Tevez it just doesn’t apply.
The Tevez issue is one of these instances where it must be taken in isolation. It has no bearing on other players at United; Berbatov or anyone else.
It isn’t about Tevez leaving and a supposed lesser player remaining. This has nothing to do with it. Those who correctly assess from the known truths are far better off not getting dragged into a meaningless argument, where comparisons based on preferences/prejudice only muddy the water.
It isn’t about comparisons, it’s about Tevez leaving the club and the manner of it. Stick to that and leave the contrarians to themselves.

they’re all mad because he spoke shit about SAF – so what ? big deal…i mean we all know SAF is a genius, and every genius is a bit strange..i’m sure david beckham holds a few grudges over SAF – only the difference is that he’s a sweet talker and never gonna say it out loud unlike Tevez..

again – i think 24 was a pretty decent price – but as you said – he couldn’t be guaranteed a starting place , he would have been a sub to berbatov ( who is not better player than him by any means – the guy has tehnique – wow – big deal ) and he left as you said, where the money’s better and to the team which is going places

btw – alex is god – there you have it – ferguson claimed in his latest interview that he thought tevez was worth 24 million …. and that’s a pretty decent figure that suits his ability – especially when you take into account that rooney’s worth 30…and he is…but the problem is that berbatov isn’t more that 15 mill a player

He put in a good effort when he was playing for you guys. Ferguson didn’t want to pay the full price for him (fair enough – he is an overrated). He left to a club which is going places (as seen by them beating us last week)

You guys are lucky, unlike arsenal who have a bunch of pussys in their team; you actually have the players to take out your rogue mercenary. Darren Fletcher comes to mind, and I sure to hell hope hes marking tevez, as hes the new british viera. Only hopefully he shows less mercy especially for tevez, if scores and shows off in front of ferguson.

Tevez is a fleabag mercenary. Wether he would have been the only striker at the club this season he still wouldn’t have signed for us. Money makes his world go round, as with the rest of the city squad, and i hope he plays on sunday so he can get the reception he deserves.
